I love a good reset before the new year and being abroad in Taiwan isn't going to stop me! It's always nice reflecting on the past year in my journal and thinking about it, doing a little clean and goal setting. I never considered visiting Taiwan, but now it’s on my list for sure!
oh taiwan looks absolutely beautiful ;; and all the art and the cute streets and nature! i've never really put thought into visiting it but now I want to. I hope your new years resolutions all are fulfilled year along. this is making me want to set my own new year's resolutions because I still haven't. Every year I feel like I fail to fulfil them so I simply didn't even try this year lol

It made me smile seeing your family's faces as you gave them those envelopes! I'm sure it meant a lot to them. Also a little tiny bit of advice using metal files: don't use them the wrong way (you pulled instead of pushed a bit) or you can blunt them faster! It's nigh impossible to re-sharpen files past a certain point (carding can only do so much) so it's a habit you don't want to get into.

The parks are so beautiful!!! I’m studying the elements and principles of art right now. And it sounds like artists are full of emotion. That’s why they feel the need to communicate their emotions. The strategic and logical artists are conveying their thoughts and ideas.
I now want to visit Taiwan. I love walkable cities, and there was so much nature and so many cute boutiques. Excellent philosophical reflections too, so nice to get perspective ✨
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful place with us. Everything is beautiful. I love all the parks in the water features and we do have them here in Southern California but nothings really all that close. Now there are probably some communities that do look like this where I live where I live it’s a small town and there really isn’t a lot of walkable things to do here you have to get in your car to go everywhere almost thank you so much for taking us along and seeing such a beautiful.
I lived in Taiwan for a year and I loved recognising many of the places your visited (the hostel you stayed in in Taipei is my go to - its the best hostel out there imo). I hope you had a wonderful start to the new year!

Well Taiwan just made its way up my list of places I really want to go to. Thank you for sharing this with us, it is so special especially spending time with loved ones. I'm turning 29 this year and it's one of my most major goals to spend more time with loved ones. I spent Christmas with my grandparents and it was such a special but bittersweet moment, I wished I could have frozen time knowing I only see them maybe twice a year. It's definitely a major thing for me that I want to increase during the new year and beyond.

That last scene with your grandparents brought tears to my eyes because it brought back memories of my late grandmother who passed away suddenly 2 years ago & I still miss her so much 😢 You never know how much time you have left with your loved ones so it's important to spend time with them while you can.
