Topeak E-Xplorer Trunk Bag Install on Aventon Aventure 2 E-bike (PROBLEM SOLVED)

Just a short video to show how I installed the Topeak Omni QuickTrack Adapter on my Aventon Aventure 2 e-bike to accommodate the Topeak E-Xplorer Trunk bag. The Topeak QuickTrack Adapter uses mounting brackets that unfortunately are too short for the Aventure 2 rear rack. This is my solution to the issue.

Jody, I have the opposite problem. I have the Topeak rack on my bicycle already but I want to slide a non-Topeak bag onto it. I am told there is an adapter plate which is then riveted onto the bottom of your non-Topeak bag. Have you seen one?

@@jodythomas yes that is the one. Thanks. I may try it on a “flatbed” board then add Velcro to my bag, this way I can make the bag work as a standalone bag or one that will attach via Velcro to my flatbed. In an emergency I can choose to rip the bag off the Velcro or unhook it from the slider rack. Thanks.

No longer works this way with the current way they are mounting the rack. You can't put the two screws in, and it isn't stable. I ended up using zip ties at the front end for stability.
