  • The Rod Ridge Farm jelly making continues. I thought I posted this a whole back, I apologize for being late. We made honeysuckle jelly. Start by gathering the yellow/orange colored flowers.Remove the green tip but leave the stamen in the flower. That's where the goodness is. Gather 6 pr so cups of the flowers. Pour four cups of boiling water over the flowers and let it steep to get the dandelion tea. That part is not in the video. It smells very much like honeysuckle, but the taste is not overpowering. #homesteading #selfsufficient #canningandpreserving #jelly #honeysuckle
