I have a special unboxing video today between two of the J’adore Lor’s, the 2018 formulation and the 2023 formulation. I wanted to point out that the old version of the perfume was available on the Dior website for most of this year until September, the beginning of the new perfume's launch.
The new J'adore L’or has taken the internet by surprise and has for the most part been a huge success in reimagining the classic fragrance while modernizing the current look and feel of the J'adore L'or.
Today I will be taking an in-depth look at both of these fragrances and comparing everything from the packing, look and smell of these wonderful fragrances. Which one is gold for you?
Current Description for the new J'adore L'or:

Can you suggest a perfume similar to the older version of l’or?
I'm still new to dupes in the fragrence world, but 3 that smell like the older formulation of J'adore lor are Euphoria by Alexander, Ambre Nomade by Elisire, and Lo Amo by fragrenza.
I bought the old version during COVID and still have it unboxed. What a disappointment it was reformulated. Dior just killed its own jewel.
Thank you for the comment! I do think that the new one and the old one are different enough they could have still produced the old one, maybe in smaller quantities.
From the Dior Homme line, that formulation was also updated from 2020 to 2023. It's possible that due to poor business, this will hopefully raise the product line
