    A friend of mine was one of Sally Morgan's regular clients. she invited her to one of her shows that was being televised, pointed to her in the audience and started telling her things, but acted as if they had never met! She's a fraud for sure!

      Oh my gosh that is sooooo bad well I live next door to this woman and in my opinion her real character is what we see on the road , a common woman that is arrogant , power hungry and self absorbed. She wants everyone to wait on her and she has staff for everything hair , nails , garden, this that and the other but yet her main residential home is RENTED ! But I bet she doesn’t tell ppl that she rents she likes them to think she is rich !

      That's exactly my opinion! I can do readings for people BUT not just now. I've seen a few over John Edward's TV shows (on TV and not live) the one that I remember best was the time he couldn't get it right and kept on pointing to his left. After the commercial break they bring in a young guy from across the street, to John's left, that was working on a car and he testified that John Edward was correct in everything he was saying. Sounds made up. I've also read, true or not, that people who have attended his shows live claim that his shows are at least a couple hours long and that all of mistakes are edited out and what's left is an hour long show of him getting everything right.

      +Lily Morris that's the sick thing, many are sociopaths, so don't feel empathy, so can coldly work out how to manipulate someone... you can't do that on camera as someone it was not being directed at, would get it and see exactly what she was doing, it has to be in a small group where she has everyone involved, sort of under he spell. using language and intenation to manipulate the people in the room... on tv the viewers would not be under the spell... unless she was actually some wizard or something : )

Do they not hear themselves lol...sick vile people,bringing peoples grief up again for a mealy few quid and fame...i believe they are all wizards lol...hell even im a friggin wizard..i know exactly what i am going to do next, utter madness lol

      +Lily Morris ye, if it was a bit of "I see a tall dark ...or money etc in your future" fortune cookie and amphetamines stuff that you can't really get negatively effected by, but with grief, and the fact they target that time in a person's like to swoop, and for that reason, makes them beneath contempt... and maybe there is some sort of esp or something similar, but talking to the dead, even thinking about a spirit world that could be reached by some mystic looking for money, what sort of spirit world is that, that these people can call of summon these spirits, even being open for anything, that is ridiculous... and they always present as caring and say they helped with the police, when they approached the police and just rambled at them... about water, when the crime happened on a boat.
      If someone said they could do it and demonstrated it, I could believe it, but given how it seems pretty much wall to wall frauds, it's best to work from a position that they are all frauds.

    Last year my ex partner went to see a medium and she recorded the reading..before the reading I was a sceptic but now I’m a believer..the medium that done the reading spoke about the conversation me and my ex partner had the night before the reading which was freaky also the medium told my ex partner that we would not get married and my partner would lose a child in pregnancy..my ex partner lost my child in pregnancy and we split pretty soon after..I’ve heard that mediums use Facebook to get info on future clients which obv could happen and would be an easy way to make stuff up and convince the client they were reading things from their own thoughts..but what absolutely freaked me out was the accuracy of the conversation we had the night before the reading which was a private conversation with no one else present and certainly wasn’t on Facebook or any other social media..I’m very intrigued now and was a big sceptic before this reading

      D Hoffman Yes, you are absolutely right, and if she could silence skeptical people and convince certain other members of the public that she and other psychics are real then she would do. Some people have said things like this on related videos and on another video of the same segment uploaded again on here.
      czcams.com/video/psBCgJhQDVQ/video.html
      I don't blame some people for being skeptical as there is no proof because it's not real. I can't believe certain silly, naive people in the comments section that defend psychics, and slag off members of the public, like us, and magicians/illusionists like Derren Brown, and Paul Zenon above, who are all skeptical and who are rational thinkers, and who make no secret of their magic not being real, unlike psychics with their so-called powers, conning and robbing naive people.

    Just read an interesting article in the Guardian regarding fictitious information supplied to Sally Morgan by an audience member prior to one of her shows, and she actually used it in the show even though it was a story. There's no such thing as mediums. If there was, they' be open about their abilities to contact spirits and much more generous of spirit themselves. It's been estimated that Sally Morgan is earning a fortune out of her shows, as much as £450,000 per month, after expenses.

    • @littlemckay
      @littlemckay Před 9 lety +7

      There's always going to misses, but the vast majority of people will have scars on their legs in the middle because when we fall we tend to fall on or near our knees and as kids we all have accidents and we all fall. When you're a child, even if it's a relatively small wound, with growth that originally small scar can be way more obvious. I have multiple scars on my knees and around that area. The thing is, though, that in the unlikely event that that's wrong (and it's only wrong after the person goes home and really examined their legs and more than likely do find some kind of scar), the issue with misses is that people concentrate on the hits more than the misses, and even when something is vague they'll find some way that it links in. He talked about greenhouse/plants and the common glass houses quote and she linked that to him working in double glazing. For me I'd maybe link that to my dad building a conservatory. It's the whole vague, yet seemingly specific thing. That particular fishing attempt ties in gardening, growing plants/veg, anything to do with glass breaking (extremely common), or them, at some point, saying that very common phrase! It's as vague as it gets and even if someone can't see a way it ties in, the "psychic" just moves on and people forget that even came up! It ends up sounding specific when someone sees a way that it ties into their life, but that's why he says to record any sessions - that way you'll see how vague it really is and how what they said that was absolutely nonsense and a clear miss gets lost in the strength of the apparent hits.

    You obviously cannot understand the scope of what I am saying here. There is literally no difference between the scientific community's acceptance of what is largely a theoretical proposition of dark matter based upon observing its effects on the universe, and the acceptance of the paranormal based on the experiences of those involved. Where's the difference here? These things cannot be tested in the same way scientists cannot be 100% sure of the existence of dark matter.

      BaneHuntress You're right. She never went to America, nor took the James Randi challenge.
      She made excuses on Twitter with some ignorant fools defending her and agreeing with her.
      Someone did link Paul Zenon in this video to her tweet. He said that he knew she wouldn't go through with it like all "psychics" do, otherwise she would have been proven as fake because she has no "psychic" powers.

    The majority of people cannot be researched. They just can't. Their details aren't online. Its also likely that there is more than one Carol or Dave in the audience when she calls these people out. Plus...the £15,875 she gets from tickets isn't exactly profit. She's got the costs that will be hers from performing wherever she is performing which means the theatres will take a percentage. She also has quite a nice lifestyle too.

    @VeritasAbsoluta Před 11 lety

    Let's just take that as a hypothetical.
    Every time someone books a ticket to one of her events she can potentially find out their name, address etc. Sally has a sold out night on November 19th(£25 per ticket) at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon which has 635 seats, generating an income of £15,875. As she seems to do 3 shows every week, this generates more than enough revenue to have a small team researching the people coming to the shows beforehand if someone were so inclined.

    Well my previous comment was replying to an earlier comment, but I'll tell you. I'll be studying for my PhD very soon (after a couple of years break), and I embrace science - believe me. But I spent most of my childhood growing up in Cornwall, which is a Celtic nation with more tales of intrigue than any other in the UK. Let's just say that the old folk there opened my eyes to that world, and taught me never to forget that which the Ancient Celts knew and came to accept as everyday...

    I agree that our memories can be unreliable and that if you gather a few people together and ask them what they remember. They're likely to place suggestion in each other's minds and start 'remembering' things that didn't happen. Of course human memory can't be that bad that it's useless. Otherwise law courts couldn't rely on eyewitness testimony, military AARs would be pointless and civilian/military aviators couldn't be trusted with their flight logs.

    I don't think it's all "utter bollocks", I approach it on a case-by-case basis and evaluate the evidence for myself. I have a sibling who's a conveyancing lawyer, the person has quite a senior position in the company they work for and so would not be in the habit of lying nor exaggerating and dare I say hallucinating. This person has told me they've seen a girl in a mud covered nightie grasping out in a pleading manner - despite no around them seeing her. In addition with their partner...

    ..I refuse to believe my sibling would lie, if they've hallucinated then they've covered it up very well and I can't imagine they've misidentified on all occasions. I struggle to explain what else they may have seen. About the afterlife, I disagree. Most people have a "we only live once" attitude, which encourages nihilism, hedonism and a blasé attitude when it comes to one's actions. If they were made aware of an afterlife then they would certainly think twice about what they do.

    .. they've seen a man dressed in period clothing walk from one wall into another where this man appeared to walk through a solid wall. The partner couldn't explain it. There are other occasions where my sibling has seen things that would be described as apparitions. Now this is all anecdotal and not scientific, but not everything can't be quantified, collated, recorded or whatever. From an objective standpoint this person has either lied/hallucinated/misidentified/witnessed a genuine apparition.
