Case 580G Backhoe Repair - Fixing Broken Dipper Stick/Arm - Part 1

In the winter time when I was not so busy my dipper stick/arm was fixed with professional company. After few months of work I had to do it again.
This time I have done it by myself.
My opinion is that this kind of work should be done this way and will not be broken for a while if ever!

Hi, I have a casei 580 G and it doesn't go forward, reverse works fine, any idea what the problem could be?

There is a few things you can do before you call mechanic to take apart your powershift box.
1. Check level of your ATF oil when your 580G is leveled and cold.
2. Check if is any leak.
3. If your power is lost when is hot, your cooler (radiator) is too small - you can go forward when is cold or you can put bigger radiator.
If none of this work, call mechanic (there could be some of yous forward lamelas are gone). Usually if you open box you change all gears new.
