This was one of the first videos I saw of Angelina and it still blows me away. At 8, with complete confidence, on live TV and in front of a crowd between 5 and 6 thousand, with back up singers and a great band, she delivers a stunningly beautiful performance in her own unique style, with perfect vibrato, rasp, vocal fry, and exceptional breath control (you can hear most of these things just in the last note). There is not now, nor has there ever been, anyone remotely like Angelina.
Angelina is the absolute best, and young kids need to here and see her, as she is a humble classy young lady.

Music producer, arranger, and musician David Foster is the man who put both Celine Dion and Whitney Huston on the map. When he saw this very performance by Angelina he flew to Norway to check her out. I’ve watched videos of him working with her several times over several years. In one video he is talking to smile Love of The Beach Boys about her singing this song and how she blew him away. Angelina’s family is very protective of her and they have refused many offers from famous people and companies including Disney.

As far as the initial comments in Norwegian: The hostess speaks of Angelina having won 'NGT' only a little over a month prior to this day. Then, she congratulates Angelina for her captivating voice and welcomes her to the show. Then, she asks her what she's planning and Angelina speaks of finishing her school and then says she will be traveling. She is asked where and replies USA , (which is Norwegian for 'United States') and this gets a big response of happiness for her. The hostess then expresses the hope that the
8 year old will have the opportunity to go to 'Tusenfryd' (a Norwegian theme park & she did go) and then gives the intro for Angelina's song. But, LOOK at her 'stage presence' and calm. She is alone, out on a pier

Hi, you two. About a month after winning NGT 2014 Angelina (8) performed here on national TV, so all of Norway would know about her.
As quiet a few Norwegian confirmed to me, a few week after THIS performance she was enobled by the state and the royal family.
Angelina Jordan Astar was declared THE NATIONAL TREASURE OF NORWAY.
For every Scandinavian it was and still is a great honor to work with her.
My condolences to your loss, it is never easy, but as AJ sang "you are never alone". In your heart they will live on.

Love seeing you guys reacting. Angelina will turn 17 on 10 Jan 2023. She will graduate from high school several months later. From there, we will see and hear much more of her as she embarks on her full-time music career. Hopefully, we will begin seeing her live performances here in the States.

This was one of the early songs I was introduced to when I found Angelina Jordan about 4 years ago. It also is one of the most impressive in a gorgeous venue with backup singers and professional band. The quality of her voice astounded me but more importantly her timing was impeccable. This song is still one of 100 songs in my top five 🌝. Thanks for all including your support for Angelina, and hope to see you back soon!
The flower crowns are a tradition in Scandinavia, to honor nature and the summer. Here Angelinas voice at age 8 is almost identical to Dinah Washingtons at age 35. I forgot, you two get better, that is an order 😇.

Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice will be 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us.
This is an annual concert in Norway that is supposed to be a sing along AJ was singing there last summer.

I think it was Allsang Pa Grensen right after she won Norway's got Talent. She performed at this same festival almost every year from 8 to about 12 and again just this past spring. She has always had a beautiful voice even at this age and she never sang like a child. She sang like she had been doing it for 30+ years. Love from Minnesota. 👣
