Your teaching is absolutely brilliant. Normally, as a left-hander, I would have to follow the left handed video but when it is you explaining, I can do it off the first video. You explain everything so well without being patronising or condescending. Thank you 🙏 😀
I could listen to you talk all day , you would make a great motivational speaker . You make me feel confident to try new stitches and projects ❤ I could also watch you crochete all day so calming .you explain things clearly you also have a beautiful voice and a pretty smile love your channel ❤
I love this Old Hollywood blanket, it is so beautiful. I use your invisible join, on all projects, that I need it. Thank you Tiffany you are a wonderful teacher, and have great tutorials.
I love your videos. You’re so enthusiastic and encouraging 😘 But not only that, you work out for us, all the combinations of different sizes, how much yarn we need for that size and tell us how many chains we need to crochet to get that size of blanket ❤ You go above and beyond to help us master a project and as I’m relatively new to crochet this is huge for me so let me send a huge hug and an even bigger thank you from across the ocean 🇬🇧😘😘😘 x
You go girl!! A beautiful blanket and all the 'figuring' you've done,...thank you!! This will be my next big project. Love the colors. Can't wait to get started. I'm gonna have to get larger hooks, my largest is a 10mm.
I try to approach my videos thinking as the person watching. What questions they might have. It’s important to me that the person watching has the best experience possible. 😊🧶❤️
Hello my sweet Tiffany ! Another wonderful beautiful cozy blanket pattern! Thank you 🙏 so much for the the hard work you put in to making these wonderful thorough tutorials! This Hollywood Blanket is gorgeous! ❤💙💙🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏
What a beautiful blanket! Love the colors you use and the look of the stitch pattern! I'm picturing a cozy wrap. You are such an awesome teacher Tiffany! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. I use the invisible join almost exclusively, but I don't cut the tails next to the knot. I work them into my work, one going one way and the other the other way for added strength.
I watched you on a previous blanket tutorial where you showed how to join new yarn when you run out. I’ve used that technique ever since, and it’s brilliant! Game changer 😊❤
Hi Tiffany. I’ll be purchasing this pattern & I’ll be making it BIG like you did. I just came from your website to purchase the pattern. Your directions and method for showing/teaching are excellent. Thank you so much.
I found your way of attaching yarn in one of your other videos when I first started learning to crochet (I still view myself as very much a newbie in the world of crochet) but always use your technique. Thank you for teaching me how to crochet
I love watching your videos! I was still having second thoughts on what hobby should I take on next but watching you made me decide. You are so lovely to look at and your voice and how you talk is so relaxing. You look like Kristen Bell.
Love this stitch and this blanket. Have a lot of bulky yarn going to make me one. All of your videos are the best. I can always find where I have made a mistake and can correct it. I have a friend that wants to learn how to crochet and I have sent her to your web site. She is going to show me how her stitches are coming alone. Thank you for all the time you take to help us get better with our crochet projects. Have a blessed day Terry Lund
Tia Hill - I felt the same way about large blankets but then I started crocheting them into a pillow case. You aren't fighting the blanket trying to turn it over. You just grab the pillow case and flip it over at the end of the row. It was a real game changer for me. I'm not fighting the blanket every time I get to the end of a row.
Love the blanket, little expensive for me tho. Probably use a thinner yarn to accomplish this blanket anyway. Thank you for the pattern. Probably use pound of love yarn, have some here in three colors.
Hi Tiffany Hansen I love this blanket and I love your channel and your videos and if you keep making videos I will keep watching them and what is your favorite crochet project to work on right now and favorite types of yarn to used when crocheting ❤
So beautiful. I really enjoy our tutorials , you have taught me how to crochet a blanket and I love it! But I’m worried about washing it when the time comes as I don’t want to ruin it . Has anyone got any tips for washing a blanket like this with a chunky wool blend …thanks
Totally understand the fear of washing a blanket like this! What I would do Rochelle is wash it on the Gentle Cycle cold water. And then drape it over some chairs and let it air dry. That will be key! 😊🧶❤️
Thank you Tiffany, Great video and instructions. Is it possible to show a close up of the stitches to see exactly where the hook is being placed? I always get confused with this part. The joining of new yarn mid way and changing colours has really helped me. Thank you so much. Xx 💕💕
That is a great question Jacqui! Honestly I can't get much closer to the stitches without risking getting off camera frame with some of my work. If you have the ability to watch my video on a larger screen that would help out SOO much! Some people have told me they've been able to put my videos up on the TV. That would really make everything I do clearer. 😄😊🧶🧡
Love this super bulky blanket it's beautiful, does the yarn get fuzzy or kind of shed? I made a blanket for my teenage daughter and she loves it, but she doesn't like sheading, it was my first blanket and I used the Yarn Bee brand super bulky. What kind of yarn would you suggest for making a large blanket? Thank you, love your channel, you are so talented:-)
Totally get the fuzz and shed question. I have not had that happen with this blanket yet. The yarn has really held up beautifully. I have not washed it yet though. I will take great care when doing so. All the materials can be found in the video and pattern. Thank you for watching! I hope you make this blanket and have such fun doing it! 😊🧡🧶
Love your trainings! 1- If I am using a multi color yarn, instead of doing the color blocking of the “Hollywood” look, should I still incorporate a border? 2- Do you have a different stitch you would recommend if using a multi-color skein? I love the ease of the crunch stitch, but would be glad to choose a stitch/pattern that is pronounced even when the multi-color yarn is busy. Thx in advance for your advice.
Hi Nia, Feel free to use whatever color you would like! It is always your choice if you would like to add a border to a blanket or not. 😊. The crunch stitch would be an ok stitch to use with a multi color yarn. If you REALLY want the yarn color to be the star of the show I would probably stick with a crochet stitch that was flat. This stitch could be a basic stitch, any combination of basic stitch or a fan. But feel free to play and see what you like. This is definitely not a rule, just a suggestion. Hope this helps! 😊❤️🧶
Hi Julie! That is a great question. I found some great non-wool substitute yarn options and wrote a post in my Community Tab to help. You can find my community tab by going to my CZcams Page. Hope this helps! 😊🧶❤️
Well, I just finished this blanket in Plymouth Encore Chunky & gave it to a friend. Between the yarn I used & the stitch, it was SO cozy & warm, I didn't want to give it away. I have a little yarn left over & am thinking of making a small blanket of what you uploaded today, Silver Stairs. Merry Christmas! I was wanting to show you my blanket. Are you on Instagram or do you have a place for your followers to show you their makings?
Oh Diana I am so happy you made this blanket as a gift. That is so special and touches my heart that you would pick one of my designs to make for a friend. Honestly, it's the things you make as gifts that you want to keep for yourself that you know will be the most special. Great job!!!! I am excited for you to try out the Silver Stairs blanket too! I think you're going to love it! I DO have an Instagram account! It's under Crochet With Tiffany. If you post something to IG and tag me in it I will be able to see it and share it on my page as well! I can't wait to see the picture of the blanket you made. Thank you so much for watching my videos and crocheting with me Diana! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. 😊🎄🧡🧶
Thank you for the feedback. If it would help, You can try watching my Popsicle Baby Blanket Border video. The blanket uses the exact same stitch as this blanket even though it's a different size yarn and in this video I am making a border around the blanket. It might help fill in some holes you are missing for this demonstration. Here's that video: czcams.com/video/z4X_915Pvoo/video.htmlsi=Rbgwu3UjaPY393vH
Great question! This blanket actually worked up really fast! The yarn is a thick size 6 weight Super Bulky and the stitch is super easy. This large size blanket took me 3-4 days to complete. 🤗🧶❤️
Hi Erika! I think you are referring to my Bandana Cowl. I’ll add the link here. Let me know if you were thinking of a different project. 😊 CLICK HERE: czcams.com/video/n1141kdWppg/video.html
Love this. I haven't done a large weighted yarn blanket is so many years. how long do you think it would take to make - on average 2 hours of crochet per day?
Hey Lady! This blanket honestly works up pretty fast due to the thicker yarn. Making a Small Throw Blanket, 2 hours a day, you could probably finish in a week. Large throw blanket maybe a week and a half if that. 😉😁🧶❤️
I don’t know how much you pay for yarn in the US, but over here in Blighty it’s quite expensive. That would cost nearly £120.00. Argh why, oh why, oh why? I can’t wait to see all your finished blankets though 😊
Oh yarn can be speedy here too! Blankets for sure are one of the most expensive projects. I think is just the nature of the craft. Every hobby or craft has something about it that can be expensive. I try to find bulk discounts, coupons and sales whenever I can. 😊❤️🧶

It might help fill in some holes you are missing for this demonstration. Here's that video: czcams.com/video/z4X_915Pvoo/video.htmlsi=Rbgwu3UjaPY393vH
C'est très joli, combien de temps il vous faut pour terminer ce plaid ?
Great question! This blanket actually worked up really fast! The yarn is a thick size 6 weight Super Bulky and the stitch is super easy. This large size blanket took me 3-4 days to complete. 🤗🧶❤️
Love it 😀

I see the knot!
