They are available for sale, bought 2 pairs last January and they are made in Indonesia for $160.00 plus free shipping. Outstanding quality and reasonably price for now. I can't justify paying an average price of $350. 00 plus on the one manufactured in France.
Hi,i'm from indonesia and yeah stuff are pretty cheap here..if you wanna live an expensive life with minimum wage you can go to indonesia, $3000 dollars is a big paycheck for us and more than enough😂
The ones manufactured in France are far superior in comfort and the leather is much higher quality. So if someone is ok paying $160 for plastic then $350 for high quality leather should be ok.
@@steliosc.4686 It's not made out of plastic.I know the difference between plastic and leather. I had my 1st superstar in 1972 and at that time it was manufactured in West Germany. The 2 pairs I bought 3 years ago is holding up pretty good.
If I were those kind of European gentlemen who wear Gucci from head to toe and need a pair of high end sneakers, I would grab a pair of them which were made in France, unfortunately I'm not, so I spent $140 for a pair in white and the other pair in black which were made &n Indonesia for walking and riding mountain bike
@@pauleygeist7802 I'm not saying they dont hold up good cause they do. Mine too. But I also have an old pair made in France and believe me it's far far more superior in everything. Even lighter in weight. The last ones I bought are the new Run DMC ones which unfortunately I find unwearable. Very uncomfortable shoe unlike my other pairs I have. I love the Superstars dont get me wrong. But the quality isn't as good as it use to be. Recently I bought 2 pairs of Diadora's. Freakin amazing shoes that I could easily pay trible the money they cost. Brilliant.

I have adidas superstar bounce and i am very disappointed about the glue at the side, i worn only 1 time and the glue came away
