Won't lie I do disagree here as well. Season 2 as far as BR goes is one of the most solid seasons we have had in awhile. We have good gameplay, a good loot pool, actual storyline beats, and good collabs with avatar and star wars. As far as the changes go, the game has to evolve similar to what Eli said in his comment. If it doesn't people will complain, if it does they will also complain. Fortnite as we knew it is different than what it used to be of course. But that doesn't mean the game is dead, it just had to evolve!

I agree I thought this season was good because up until the Star Wars event we got a update every week and I actually was excited to play the game
When people use the whole “it’s losing its identity “ it sounds like people afraid to adapt and change with the times . I’ve played Fortnite since OG season 3 and yes things are changing but think about how much content they work on and add. We get so many amazing skins ( sometimes with super detailed add ons and animations) , mythical with unique animations , etc. a whole Lego Fortnite ,guitar hero, and Mario kart type game . We should be great full .
Fortnite is a forever changing game hub full of amazing experiences. Yes it’s been a few lows but overall Fortnite is growing and adapting more than call of duty or 2k ever did.
Also to hate on the collabs it crazy . Of course it’s not original . But what other game do I get to shoot somebody and then start fire bending !! It’s amazing !
I gotta disagree with you here. I think this season was great! Sure, the mini event passes are kind of annoying, and the game isn't the same as it was in chapter 4 and before that, but it just seems like to me that people complain about Fortnite getting old and not enough changes, and then proceed to complain that the game is losing it's "Identity." The game is going to change, just like everything. I think the Fortnite community is gonna need to get over that.
This right here! Epic clearly wants to focus on beyond battle royale and people may not like the other modes but they are here to stay. We as a community just have to learn to not take it as a offense to us. We got people like Acai and Lego streamers getting on Fortnite to shine a light.
Personally, the mini battle passes just gives me insentive. My only problem with the one this season was that the mythics got the other mythics removed... that's it. I loved the avatar mythics and I bought the pass ofc. I have bought all 3 festival passes and have completed the free pass for lego. It didn't take an excrutiating amount of time either. People just complaining about nothing.
This is probably the most real rant of heard ever because every one is glazing Fortnite and people like you reveal the bad parts thank you for this video 💪🏾
I think myths and mortals (ch5 s2, the one we are still in) was good but could've been pulled off even better. the story was actually somewhat getting somewhere and the "mini" event was cool (could've been timed better tho, I was in math when it happened), and the lootpool was good except for when they vaulted the myth items and put in the avatar powers, and the map was very good, problem is that there couldve been a lot more cool lootpool changes (example the bosses could have all had their own powers instead of the new guns) and the myth items shouldn't have been vaulted when avatar released, the story couldve been better even though it was absolutely a revive to the story, and the map, the map couldnt have been better there wasnt much wrong with it. overall good season but it could have and should have been a lot more.
Season 2 has a lot of good qualities:
- Very Unique, feels like the most different season we've had since Paradise (Ch3 S4)
- Gameplay feels balanced, you never really feel like you lost to someone worse than you because they had a strong weapon
- Pretty fun in general
I do honestly think that next season (Ch5 S3/Wrecked) will break the season 3 curse we had since Chapter 3 because not only we had a great mini-event and a good map, but we also had a good loot pool, good gameplay changes, good collabs, good bosses, etc and now especially we will getting a new vehicle and a Fallout collab in season 3 (so far) so in conclusion, I don't think players will quit during season 3, but they will do something like playing the game, taking a break from it, playing more of it and so on and so forth
What if we hadn't opened Pandora's box what would epic do?
That’s one thing about Fortnite people still love it they don’t care about nothing unless Fortnite messes up. do you know something weird they listen to the fans make it better to make people enjoy it
And with all the new stuff they added like festival mode or rocket racing, or even Lego, and now even fall guys which gets them more people and I do so much for fans just everything
They mean they added zero build mode for people who don’t like building oh no, they are good at a game😡😡😡🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤬🤬🤬
People are saying the game will die but I think we just need to accept the fact that Fortnite can’t be the same as it was they will change the game and add new mechanics but we just have to accept it
Well when they do add original things ( ex, thunder bolt of Zeus, chains of hades, new weapon & weapon systems) the community just cries and complain about it, I wouldn’t focus on doing original things either if the community just complained about all of it 🤷🏾♂️

I super agree what you said about fortnite learning back on other media for unique ideas, all the updates to fortnite these days are the most unmemorable trash
I feel like next season will break the season 3 curse we have had since ch3 where season 3s have been bad because the ch5 s3 sounds really fun we are getting new vehicles such as the vehicle teased in the season 3 teaser package sent to content creators and Monster trucks as we are getting Monster trucks as Fortnite is collabing with Monster Jam and we are also getting a Fall Out collab next season most likely as the battle pass collab and the season sounds so fun plus we are getting a Fall Guys collab, a Pirates of the Caribbean collab, and a Metalica collab as well this next season looks like it will be really fun and the event we got on Thursday gives me hope for the story to be back the Wanderer also gives me hope for the story to be back
A new way that fortnite can make more money by bringing the old battle passes ❤
Fall Guys will not integrated in Fortnite, at least it was not anounced, they will give the assets and mechanics of Fall Guys for Creative and if you play FG it is great to have a mode as exploration in Fortnite is like an endless deathrun.
