Oh, I graduated last July from Wits with an MA (Journalism) and having previously studied at CityVarsity in Cape Town, I can say Wits taught me so much intellectually and socially. I'm Cameroonian and it was interesting to blend into South African culture with its racial diversity. I now work in Madagascar for Mercy Ships and will encourage current students at Wits to make the most of their time there. It'll be tough sometimes but it's very much worth the experience.
BA General... What job you gonna do with that degree? 😮 anyways. Young kids listen up. The end goal is to make money = earn a living. Most degrees will land you in a dead end job. My advice... come together at varsity to create a company / business that leverages the vast ramge of skills being taight to uou and uour friends studying different degrees. Its exciting now but real life is tough guys. This is not meant to be taken in a negative light. But rather a much needed reminder of the reality ofnlife after Uni.
