*NEW* Colossal Blade PKing - Maxed 60 Attack Zerker - Max Strength

- About a week ago, a new smithing minigame, The Giants' Foundry, was released in OSRS. Seemingly completely under the radar, the Colossal Blade, a new 2h weapon, was added that is better than the previous BIS 2h for a 60 attack account (Barrelchest Anchor) and ALSO does not require any prayer levels, unlike the anchor. I took this new weapon to PvP worlds on my maxed 60 attack zerker and slapped some people around.

this video is great! absolutely adore the breakdown on the combos and plays by both you and your opponent. So many of the more popular pking videos tend to just show ppl at their best, and getting annoyed when they lose.

Big agree dude. I think Ayiza said it’ll be getting a repair cost added soon tho… RIP. Having to risk an additional 200K+ to have KO potential after you spec on 60 attack accounts really sucks

The rest of this year is going to be good man, I have a feeling. Appreciate the comment. Seems to be a lost art honestly :/ I like making commentaries, but montages are my favorite by far. My hands down favorite account is the one in this video, a 60 attack zerker. And trust me, it DOES dominate haha even maxed 75 attack zerkers as you see in the video go down pretty easily.

disapointed when i got the new blade that it didnt have a unique animation for attacking like it has run animation, but its a cool weapon tho!
strange that it comes from skilling 100% but its been over a year since ive been able to use vls.. its a useless 50m wearable stick at this point so i guess im just kinda use to being fucked over on pvp weapons lol

Really appreciate it man - zerker content is most of what I do! Really hoping zerkers can get something similar to turmoil in the near future.. would make them a lot more viable. I totally prefer my 60 attack zerker. By far my favorite build on OSRS

Hey man, really enjoyed the video. Are you sure the passive effect applies to 1x1 targets? The wording on the wiki where it talks about the passive effect is ambiguous and makes it seem like maybe the passive effect only applies to targets larger than 1x1? In which case the max hit would be the same as the anchor. I don’t have Twitter but maybe someone could ask a Jmod?
Thanks for watching dude! Glad you enjoyed. Consider subbing if you’re new :) And yes, I’m 100% certain the sword’s effect works on 1x1 targets. My max with the anchor was a 49, and this sword has the exact same strength bonus but I hit a 51 on a player around 8:13 in the video. It’s awesome!
@@OSRS2ndBase Oh I missed that, my bad! I’m subbed already dw :) It’s a cool new weapon but it seems a bit weird that the anchor is now basically dead content even though it’s harder to obtain than the colossal blade.. what do you think?
@@oscardunn8060 The anchor does have a special attack bar, so that gives it a bit of a leg up on the colossal blade in that respect. I do agree though, the anchor definitely became a lot less useful now. Anchor is a crush weapon, where the blade is a slash weapon, though. That could make a difference in some scenarios.
They added a 300k repair value to the colossal blade today. I believe that means it can also be trouver parchment'ed for past 20 wild

I’ve been working on that gmaul timing. It can be so deadly dude, legit stacking over 90 damage in a single game tick followed by the blade :o max damage stack potential 25-44-44-51 with about 2m risk. It’s nutty. And thank you man!
Prime example at 16:26. 85 damage in one tick, followed by the blade to finish it off. So much fun when it hits
60 attack zerker might have to grind this out..

Really depends. If it’s around 200K, still totally worth it. 500K? … idk that’s a tough call. It definitely is better than the anchor. And there’s no prayer requirement for the blade, which is definitely unique. To get the anchor, you gotta have around 50 prayer. There are clever ways to get it at lower prayer levels, maybe like 46

The colossal blade actually has 2 max hits on the anchor as well! :D same strength bonus but the tile effect works on 1x1 enemies. 1x2=2 :) so make sure to add 2 to ur max hit. have fun!

That was an update from a few years ago. If you talk to the Range combat tutor in lumbridge, she can toggle whether or not picked up ammo auto-equips

Was a massive AGS lol - if I venged that and hit him on the same tick though (I was late by just 1 tick I guess), I could’ve easily killed him before his gmaul went off. Me hitting a 20 arrow on his veng killed me

Honestly not even that expensive material cost wise to get the points so if the repair cost stays zero I'd say worth it I'd rather do this minigame than blast furnace anyday.
it's definitely worth it. it only takes about 5 hours with 50 smithing. it's the new bis for 60 attack whack weapons. it doesn't have a spec bar, but it doesn't have a repair value either. it's only -1 damage compared to bneck/obby maul.

Really appreciate it man :) And I know, but if I was in full inquisitor, the max gmaul would’ve been 45 instead of 44, but the colossal blade max still would’ve been 51. I’d much rather skull in 2-3m risk than unskull in the same. Honestly don’t like unskulling in max gear - kinda lame :P
@@OSRS2ndBase nono all you need is either inqui legs or helm and keeo that protted as a +1 to risk gmaul and b-ring i + other gear.
And about the str bonus on the blade I can't say so I'll trust your word.

The anchor was a unique looking item with a lot of attitude and fit 60 attack accounts really well. Doesn't this ugly thing makes the anchor dead content? +2 max hit, has no prayer req, no quest req. Costs basically the same to repair. How is that a good idea? RIP Barrelchest anchor :(
Anchor still has utility in that it has a spec bar, so you can instamaul from it, but otherwise I agree. Overall better than the anchor in all ways except the spec bar

@@gottago1885 Kinda depends what you’re using it with, and who you’re using it against. If you’re using it with Vesta, Colossal Blade is better if you’re just whacking with it (Slash style). If you’re using Statius, Anchor (BH) is better (Crush style). In identical strength gear, the max hits are the same. Full Inquistor and Anchor (BH) is better than Full Vestas (c) and Colossal Blade, though. Anchor (BH) spec can hit into the 60s on a Zerker, and is very accurate, so that’s helpful against people with higher defense

Technically yeah you could go out there with mith gloves, str ammy, climbing boots, gmaul and this weapon and have insane hit potential and risk about 10K in gear, maybe 60K in supplies.
I think they are going to add a repair cost on this, though.
