Alex takes us through his childhood and all the events that made him feel unseen, unheard, and unloved. While he can label his upbringing as dysfunctional, he still took in all the shame and guilt from the caregivers around him who could not heal that within themselves. His focus was on the cause of how he felt, which he interpreted as being gay, but that was not the entire burden. Children are sponges to the energy around them. When the adults cannot take responsibility for themselves, the children carry that shame and guilt forward into their lives, where hopefully, they can find the light of day to heal.

You can still see the pain and trauma he experienced exuding from him. It's so sad that so many people have had this same experience. I so hope he finds that happy place and can enjoy life!
I appreciate your comment, Daniel. Alex's pain is palatable. He can tap into his past and feel it all. I can only imagine that it is very healing for him. So stay tuned for his next episodes where his strong spirit shines through.
