- Finally took the time to do this for you guys. Sorry for the wait. Before it will start doing what you want it to, you need to meet certain thresholds, with Windows 7 clients it won't work until it has had 25 requests from client machines. If you are making the requests from Windows 2008 Servers then the count is 5.

awesome videos. keep up the good work
Does anyone know what the costs are for kms. I can't find this answer on google neither on the tech site from Microsoft and for an answer I need a business email account planning to make one but I am wondering how much?
A better format would be
nslookup -type=srv _vlmcs._tcp.
This includes your specific domain. Note the space betwee srv and _vlmcs....
Is there a way to check see the list of devices activated using the KMS host...I can see the count want to see what devices were activated
What happens when the vbs file is missing on all clients?
Oldie but goodie!
Thanks
The video is about 2008 R2 but the command should work on 2012 & 2016
Your command doesn't work because you forgot the space in between svr and _vlmcs.
nslookup -type=srv _vlmcs._tcp
nslookup -type=all _vlmcs._tcp
nslookup -type=srv _vlmcs._tcp
there is space between srv & _vlmcs
the cheatsheet does not open.
Will a KMS server 2012 R2 activate Office clients?
It should, if the 2008 R2 does, see no reason why 2012 R2 can't.
@4:23, search and install VAMT
1st of all, it IS NOT KEY MANAGEMENT SERVER. IT IS key management service server. Or KMS server/host. Not very bright are you . If you are going to do a video, use the right nomenclature.
you must be fun at parties
