Searching for Giant Snook and a Monster Shark

- I took my good friend Bud Fisher on his first saltwater fishing adventure searching for giant snook and a monster shark. Our first step was to catch bait on an offshore wreck. While catching bait, Bud hooked his first-ever bonito (false albacore). After an intense fight, Bud landed the fish. Shortly after, I hooked what I thought was another bonito, but discovered that it was, in fact, a giant snook! The snook measured 41 inches and weighed between 20-25lbs, a true giant! Upon releasing my giant snook, we decided to head inshore and target snook on the bridges. Within a few minutes of fishing near the bridge, Bud hooked and landed a baby goliath grouper. We hooked several more big snook but unfortunately did not catch them. Due to the high pollution in the water, all of our bait died. The next day we took Bud shark fishing and we found some monsters!

We have lost over 3million pounds of fish in the past couple months. Sw florida . fortmyers inshore fishery is no longer here. Cant catch anything. Its killing everything. Its nuts. Very sad.
