Mackie used to whistle before hitting puberty, and when he started to hit puberty he is doing Head tones most of the time... from the world’s Best to their concert.. now he keeps on doing that whistle part lately from love showtime performance to this latest wish bus.. i am loving this version more.. you can clearly hear the harmonies and their smooth voices ...
All of them can whistle back then but since Mackie always sang the low notes when they are singing, he did not usually do the whistle parts or the high notes.. But here, since mackie has the most stable voice now since he is almost done with his transition while keifer and francis are still in the middle of it, they gave the whistle part of keifer to mackie.. And mackie also did so well there.. His headtone is so clean and beautiful! I was shookt the first time i watched it even if it is not the first time i heard him sing high notes with his head voice.. He always surprise me.. And also his runs and adlibs are stunning! 😍

TNT Boys are going through Puberty right now....their voices are obviously changing - maturing...getting deeper...and vocal control is now quite difficult for them... yet despite all these, they still sound so achingly good. 👍👌👏

All the reactors were surprised and one even made a comment that he did not think Mackie can hit a high note . All three boys are equally talented , they can easily cover anyone’s part with just a simple look or a hand sign. Mackie, before their group was formed is also a very powerful belter. For their amazing three part harmonies, they have Keifer for melody , Francis, higher notes and Mackie ,the low notes.

Yes its true there's transition changed,i think. Actually mackie was the first to reached puberty changed so in their past performances mackie used his low range and now he has mastered it. While keifer and francis are only beginning to reached puberty. Must be the reason y they prefered low range here. But nonetheless its still good to hear. Actually i prefer this one than their first...they sounded more relaxed here...thanx bubs&doe for your reaction...

Yess all of them cam whistle, all of them can belt, all of them can do runs and riffs. All the songs they sang are arranged to highlight their strongest skill and rearranged to fit to the situation. The boys are always adjusting since their voices are changing but one thing for sure they are there for each other and together they fly.

CZseventyfive Mackie was nearly finished puberty. Francis is in the middle of puberty. Keifer has tonsillitis during this performance and is also in the middle of puberty.

did you know that in 2017 when they first showed up in little big shots keifer's part was high notes , mackie in melody , while francis in low notes....But after their your face sounds familiar fight they changed it...Keifer still in high notes, francis in melody, mackie in low notes...When mackie's voice started changing and going through puberty....But in early 2019 they changed it again mackie still in low, francis in high notes, and keifer in melody...

Sorry to break it to you, but what Mackie did at 4:34 isn't a whistle note/tone, it's called a Mix voice. You'll here his voice in "chest voice" but the grit of the head voice placement is there which is a "Mix" voice.
