In March 2022, 8700 buses, were operating in the London bus network.
785 of these, were battery electric buses.
Newer fleets of battery electric buses, have been in construction for some years, with many of them being in service since 2021. Only recently, more improvements and technologies, have been implemented into London's Electric buses. London now holds the second largest fleets of Electric buses, in the whole of Europe.

Two caught fire within 2 days. LMAO
If you want a SMOOTHER RIDE, FILL IN THE BLOODY POT HOLES... But fill them in correctly and LEVEL
There everywhere.
Exactly
Has anyone else seen wright gemini 3 fully eletric buses at Brent Cross on the 142
Enviro 200 EV's are also Electric
Also, what's the difference between Hybrid and Electric?
Hybrid buses are also electric but can also run on diesel engines. (Most) Electric vehicles run solely on electricity.
@@TPhype-Discovery Thanks!
Been around since 2011 actually as they trialed a byd.
Mumbai too has taken similar buses.
meanwhile 16,359 buses in Shenzhen were 100% electrified --14 Jan. 2022 0:10
No crap mate, China's economy is half a dozen times larger than the UK
but they aren't as good as work on older technology unlike the tfl fleet.
@@bmuraaz6024I thought that current London ev buses actually use some Chinese tech by byd
Yes, on electricity generated from coal.
Don't be blinded: It is not the propulsion technology that makes something renewable or fossil- it's the source of energy!
My vehicle runs on used vegoil...
@@demil3618 lol Shenzhen is on nuclear ☢️ and hydropower I am sorry and fuck off lol
Well explained W guy
521 and 507 said they are withdrawn. No?
My clips featured a lot 😊😅😂
Your clips are some of the best out there!
@@TPhype-Discovery I know lol 😂
The biggest fleet of electric buses much bigger than London is in Moscow.

You didn't mention hydrogen technology
Hydrogen technology is rare in London
@@thewhetstonebusguy And you don't need new tech to go renewable.
My vehicle runs on used vegoil, while most electric vehicles in China run on coal-generated electricity.
It's not the propulsion tech that makes the difference, it's the source...
@@thewhetstonebusguy But there are hydrogen buses

"Dear Sir/Madam. Good-evening. How are you? I trust you are well. I do not like Electric Buses. I prefer Diesel Buses. Electric Buses are boring and a turn off."
Yours Faithfully.
Sir Francesca Kray. 👍
I guess you mean /BATTERY ELECTRIC buses/ while talking about...buses. So why would one emphasise that they are buses ?
Equally I guess you mean /DIESEL counterparts/, /DISPLAY panels/, /RAPID CHARGING technology/, /DOUBLE DECKER buses/ (yes, they are...buses!).
And electricity is only as sustainable as it is being produced. A diesel bus on used vegoil can be more sustainable than an electric bus on nuclear or coal generated electricity.
And diesel engines have never been as clean as today since their invention. So emissions aren't really a problem- unless a mayor comes along and pushes his agenda by calling the air "toxic" and any criticics "in coalition with science deniers".
*Electricity is only one way of propulsion and neither renewable nor fossil!*
Irritating computer generated narration. Why?!
