I have a wild suggestion and idea for the Lakers: just come out publicly and (officially) make LeBron the co-owner, GM, and head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. He's practically all of those things on an unofficial status, just make it official. That way, he can make his own moves, he can trade whoever he wants (assuming of course anybody in the league wants to deal with him), and he can assemble his own coaching staff with whoever is willing to put up with him.
But I know he won't go for it. I know why he won't go for it. He needs somebody to take the blame when things inevitably fall apart, like they have a tendency of doing. He needs a fall guy. If you make him the GM or coach, HE has to take responsibility and accountability for things going wrong. LeBron James has never taken accountability for anything going wrong. Ever. So he won't accept the roles on an official basis.
Seriously just get rid of Le-GM if he want to trade everything just to win one season which will set us back like the suns

If this is a cryptic clue, if I were Donovan Mitchell I would seriously consider requesting a trade. If you go back a few years, you'll see that LeBron James tried to make a joke out of Donovan Mitchell being a member of the Utah jazz and why no one wanted to pick him during one of the All-Star drafts.
Even if you add Mitchell the starting lineup still not better than Denver, Minnesota, or OKC. So trade depth and future picks for a team that’s still 4th or 5th in the West.
