Megatron: *gives all his drones poor hands*
Also megatron: *gives himself a second pair of functional hands*
He took the good hands from everyone else so he could have more.
@@PerspectiveEnd Only he gets to have the gorilla grip. No one else.
Animated Strika pulled off the buff Fembot design just right (also RID 15 Strongarm too).
Yeah i agree
Buff Strika was badass, although as far as the big bots go, Bulkhead will always be my fave
Definitely much better than this show did.
We don't talk about RID that does not exist
Animated Strika looks like she was drawn by someone who's heard of gravity.
BM Thrust: *Exists*
ROTF Demolisher: You're my dad! Boogie woogie woogie!
Boogie Woogie Woogie?
I see that and I don't like that.
"Wright that down! Wright that down!"
"This is one of those classic instances where artists with a vision was given way too much power in the creative process." That about sums it up so well with Beast Machines designs. The toys fared no better.
I don't know I think the toys tended to be less ugly than these abominations.
Toys are actually good. Maximals have only few bad figures, and most of them are show characters, but in exchange we got Longhorn, Hammerstrike, Night viper and etc. Maximals were really unique: Unicorn (also 2nd horse transformer ever iirc), Snake (2nd snake transformer ever, and isnt even close to 1st one in terms of transformation and everything), first real bull (tantrum and BW guy were buffalos), Snarl (lion that isnt Lio Convoy and looks like inspiration for Leobreaker), Skydive (Pteranodon that reminds me Wingfinger, love him more than G1 Skydive also adore his sleek robot mode), Hammerstrike (hammerheads are cool, though he lacks arm articulation). And vehicons were great, despite being show inaccurate, there actual drones figures that could be used as cannon fodder + offscreen guys, like Spy Streak, Scavenger, Mirage. I wish some of these guys appeared in show, maybe even instead of some guys (Yes, exchange Silverbolt for Skydive).
Also i totally love that batshit colour palettes that maximals have.
I mean I kinda thought both that one episode where the Maximals were arguing because of some virus they were infected with was funny along with the toyline being more enjoyable than the show itself imo but I see your point lol.
Yeah, Obsidian is an example of an alien-looking Transformers design done right. He’s not literally made of scrap metal like Bayformers Deceptions, and he’s not done to the extreme like some of the other bayformer designs. He’s just an overall cool character.
Yeah he's just a Weird Scorpion Alligator Fly, and it's awesome.
BM obsidian has too ugly colours. Toy version looks a lot better in my opinion.
@@Basharleg he’s grey and red with some yellow. That’s how he is Witt every other version of him, including other figures of him (save for one that was sand blue). How is that ugly?
@@jaydonmagan4694 not a concept art . I mean actual show . In show he has weird leopardo gold ,awful eyes, strange red, shitty blue. Toy has alright green , other version has sand colours.
@@Basharleg Well that’s what Beast Machines was. Even when some of the cast were actual robots, they still had a bit of soft texture or a strange look to them. It was probably the first time Hasbro ever created more alien apppearing Transformers. I personally think his show colors are fine. I think they fit him. If you don’t like it, then we’ll just have to agree to disagree.
The beast machines was the transformers equivalent to a carnival of horrors.
Being a transformers fans and never watch beast machine and then after watch it they will be terrified
This^
5:50 ya know that scene in Cars where Lightning McQueen blows his tyres and he just leaves trails of sparks, his speed gets massively reduced and just starts skidding? I imagine strika doing that IRL she can't even steer cuz all her tyres are encased in metal. I highly doubt she's getting any traction or speed
I do not know that scene but I understand what you are saying, and yeah she should be sliding all over the road.
4:15 I’m glad someone else thinks Obsidian was THE BEST character from the whole show
Plus he turns into an alien Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey so it just adds to the coolness factor
Second Best. Jetstorm is best.
Well he turns into something like an Osprey. I don't even know if the Osprey was invented yet by then.
This is pure comedy platinum!! And poor Strika...I was NOT ready for that!! 😆😆😆😆😆
I'm glad you enjoyed that, I was worried it wasn't as top tier as the first one of the Beast Machines videos.
Megatron remembered his pre transmetal T. rex body then decided to give all his creations non hands out of spite so they would know the pain
Beast wars had more characters without hands than a diamond mine in a third world country
I didn't know diamond mines had lots of characters?
I just picture jetstorm having to ram his little 2 spikes in the ground just to stand.
Also I like to think cybertron did find the earthy bits under cybertron but decided to not screw with that cause they knew it would lead to beast machine designs
Even if he did they are so thin he'd just cut through the ground and still fall over.
Cybertron found stuff?
Primus
There's a theory Noble is a wolf because it somehow includes the castoff from when Silverbolt lost his wolf traits
That's weird. How did Megs get that in him.
@@PerspectiveEnd he probably had him captive while turning him into jetstorm and probably experimented on his fuzor form before removing his spark
I’m writing a transformers story and thought that the autobots should fight these “things” as if they were monsters created by unicron himself. Probably a dumb idea but it should happen.
That’s genius
Id say go for it, it makes more sense than the show i mean look at them, if that is not an evil monster that what is.
Distorted versions of the characters from an Evil universe, how has no one done that.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah I was also planning on doing the bayformers as monsters as well.
@@drbluejay858 the bayformers strike me as some kind of synthetic cybertronians, brought to life by the allspark. Hence why they look like they’re made of literal junk, because they are.
As someone who was born in 2000 looking back at beast machines it’s such a funny product of the time
It is insanely 2001.
My God, The concept of Blackarachnia really terify me. About Megs clothes, i guess it was made from some metal that been modified so it has similar texture with our clothes. Anyway looking forward for your legacy figure reveal reaction
I mean I don't think the creators thought that far, they gave him cloth and didn't realize he should be able to make it.
If that's what's under her skin I shutter thinking about what's under the other characters
HOLY SHIT! I completely forgot Obsidian and Striker exists!!! I still have no memory of them even after watching this.
Yeah they weren't in much of the show, Obsidian left a bit of an impression on me but Strika not so much.
Nobel on paper is a cool concept, his furry wolf form. Nobel should have been silverbolt, which kinda makes sense. But the whole organic transforming into another organic defeats the purpose of transformers.
I honestly hope that there is some way of retconning BM out of the G1 timeline.
It's a concept that only works in Beast Machines with their magical transformations. Though to be Fair there where figures in the old Beast Wars line that did the same.
It's actually super easy to Retcon it out, there's not anything really worth saving so you just pretend it didn't happen.
Unless I'm a complete idiot, I'm pretty sure that BM is not present in the Japanese G1 canon
Animated Strika and the MMC version were definitely an upgrade to the beast machines version of her
Yes
I agree with all of that, the Animated version was much better, and the MMC one is MMC so you know it's good.
@@PerspectiveEnd true, I just wish I could get the thing but it’s either not available or way too much for me to spare any money for one, even more so with the upcoming legacy line
The most frustrating thing about Beast Machines is that it’s the only Transformers show that got to be this unique. I get the feeling we aren’t ever going to see something this creative again and it sucks. The shining light of originality in this stagnant franchise is one of the absolute worst aspects of it.
What about Beast Wars, and yeah it was original because the Creators literally didn't know anything about Transformers.
They were specifically hired because they had never experienced ANY TF media before. They weren't even allowed to watch Beast Wars to prep for the show.
That's why the characters act nothing like them selves.
I do want to see more Unique entries into the franchise, but I also want them made by people who aren't going to completely muck up the characters because they don't know anything.
to be fair to Tankor's claws, that is a thing that happens in transformers from time to time, like Whirl
Yeah but Whirl had that done to him as a literal form of torture.
@@PerspectiveEnd So what, Lugnut doesn't exist now?
Megatron was the true hero: he tried to protect Cybertron from these abominations with power of his drip and epic gamer throne.
Indeed he was.
@@PerspectiveEnd Also wanted point this out, Strika actually can use her hands. The big scoop things are retractable shields. The wheels are still dumb though.
2:05: "Captain Curtain" 👏😂🤣👍
Megatron's face honestly reminds me of Bane from the Dark Knight Rises.
Megatron: "Ahh, you think the Beast Wars fanbase is your ally? You merely adopted the fanbase. I was born in it. Molded by it. I didn't see how popular I was until after the Beast Wars ended. Yeeeeeees. But it was nothing to me but blinding."
You mean Bane Reminds you of Megatron, as this came out over a decade before Dark Knight Rises.
Glad you thought Captain Curtain was funny.
@@PerspectiveEnd Oh, ok.
You're welcome! I'M glad to be complimented by a fellow comedian.
I love beast wars Megatron but he’s just straight up Zerg.
Like his dragon form? What do you mean?
Oh his cloak lookin form with all the tubes and mad max mask mouth. Proly shoulda been more specific lol.
It’s a good thing I watched this in the morning, don’t think I could go to sleep with Clive Barker’s Blackarchnia in here.
Lets just hope the memory fades by tonight.
Wooohoo!!! I saw this notification and said "YES!!" because I love hearing you roast this show.
I knew this one would be a crowd pleaser.
The sequel I never know I needed so much in my life
I'm glad it pleased.
Obsidian and strike have some of the most epic transformation sequences in history. And strika would be great with a face
I feel like it's a bit irritating to see obsidian form these huge shell pieces out of nothing, but there is no denying he is extra with the way he goes about it.
@@PerspectiveEnd also I think cheetors beast mode is pretty good in this show but his robot mode sucks
Strika wheels be like putting wheels on a car but driving in the box they came in
Ha!
Honestly, like you, I llloooooovvveee obsidian and his design, honestly should've been the main villain instead of blue Darth Vader
Hope to see you bash in the other designs in the franchise
Great video as always
Obsidian is Sick as Shit, and he's got a great voice too.
All shockwaves suffer from one shared weakness. One eye that can get shot out or covered witch blinds them.
I mean couldn't anyone have their eyes covered and become unable to see?
@@PerspectiveEnd yes but shockwave suffers the most.
I am so glad I wasnt able to see beast machines when I was a kid because for sure I would have had so many nightmares about them
They definitely haunt you.
Congrats on the 5k dude 👍
Thank you so much!
" She has to ride like absolute ass" phrasing my guy
Did any of this video feel like I was worried about how what I said came off. The point is to be funny.
5:14 Dan Schnider in the writers room
Who's that?
2:20 how did Primus have dirt? (It’s probably a different continuity, but it’s usually the case that cybertron is primus)
I would not say that's Usually the case. I think it's probably only 1/3rd the continuities where he is Cybertron.
Yo nice, you mentioned theamazingspino. Their transformers redesigns are epic
Their work is awesome and if it's what the movies looked Like I wouldn't complain.
Beast wars Megatron: revels in being part organic. Calls the all-technological Dinobot obsolete.
Beast Machines Megs: All organic must die even though I have an organic alt mode myself
Yeah, it's clear they had no idea what they were doing with the characters.
@@PerspectiveEnd I think I can recall a number of fan theories that tried to rationalize this. Either it was just a means to an end for his goal of becoming the new god of Cybertron or he was just so insane by this point. Either way it’s still stupid.
"It's an abomination, of animation, Its Beast Machines"
I see what you did there.
@@PerspectiveEnd ever since I saw the diamond bolt ruin forever video, I couldn't get that thought out my head
In an earlier video you mentioned that you had cool story ideas for if you could write a Transformers show. What were some of those because I’m very curious.
I want to do a video on them at some point. I will say one of their premises is the war that continued after Optimus and Megatron left. Between Shockwave and the Few Remaining Autobots.
animated sential prime : Here comes the crimson chin *now in blue*

@@PerspectiveEnd dissing bad shows
Can't wait to see more roasts on the future
Make me Energon Cubes immediately.
Don't you worry more is comming.
I've never watched Beast Machines. I'm not sure I want to either lol. If it's someone's favorite that's all well and good. Some of the designs really do make me ask "why?" though.
Maybe being based off cenobites is the reason for the torturous designs of Megatron's minions? "You're existence shall be pain."
People want to Try and Re-evaluate it, to say that it's good, there is a real movement of people trying to do that. It's not true. It sucks. Everything about it sucks. It is a MISERABLE show to try and suffer through.
Music Sucks, Action Sucks, Characters Suck, Story Sucks, it's just all bad.
Megatron turns into towelie from south park
That's the best explanation of why he was so out of character. He was high as Shit.
That savage mode is one hell of a fever nightmare
Yeah, I always just thought it looked like a bunch of assets that were cut apart and slapped together to make something else.
Ahhh another beautiful roast video. Good job!
Glad you enjoyed.
This shows worst sun was definitely ruining waspinators happy ending
I mean I like the idea that Waspinator flew back under his own power but it is a disappointing end to his story.
I feel like Megatron put them in this torture suit existence on purpose. He probably would do something like that. Also that savage form looks like SCP-682 dipped in BBQ sauce
I don't know what that is but Ok.
And yeah but at the same time it'd be stupid of him to do that if he wants to win.
@@PerspectiveEnd Why am I just getting notified of this-But yeah, probably. As for what 682 is, imagine a giant rotting alligator monster that only knows hatred for everything on the planet, and the worst part is, nothing they try kills the thing. It cell is a giant pool of acid because they hope it'll whittle away at it enough but it hasn't worked. Probably my favorite SCP
I think waspinators beast wars design would have been a better base idea for technorganic designs, his robot mode still looked very bug like but still looked really cool
He did already look pretty Technoorganic, just like the Transmetal 2s.
@@PerspectiveEnd indeed, further redesign that the designs for this show didn’t need to exist
We’re obsidian and strika autobots, Decepticons, or something else before they were vehicons
They never make it clear, it seems like one of them was an Autobot, and the Other was a Decepticon, and the general consensus since, is that Strika was the con, and obsidian the bot.
@@PerspectiveEnd that would explain the colorpallets, and why strika is a con in future media, but why would they be a couple then, did they have a Romeo and Juliet thing going on
5:00 it would be funny if silverbolt had a ball gag and pink fuzzy handcuffa
Why would that be funny?
I like some of the best machines characters, and I did not expect a bullet to, but we got one. Beast machine.
What is this about a Bullet?
Do more of these "roasting of" videos these are really entertaining
I plan to, but I want to space them out so they don't get tired.
I didn't think the designs for Beast Machines could get any more horrifying. This, this is cursed as hell and i don't know if i can sleep at night after seeing that concept design for Black Arachnia. Did the show runners do an intense line of coke, then watch horror films all while in the design process? Because that's what it looks like to me. Not that her final design was good, it's just less terrifying to look at than whatever eldritch abomination that was
To be fair Concepts are usually way more out there than Finalized designs, but man her's is revealing in more ways than one.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah, the concept is way more revealing. If Hasbro for some reason greenlit a horror one off, they'd probably look back at this show.
Ayyyy, the Amazing Spino! I love their art!
Tbh, the vehicons and Megatron are my favourite designs from BM. Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for robots, but I just love the inhuman look of them
Also, yeah, Obsidian is the best
His stuff is dope.
Yes the Vehicons are easily the best designs in the show, and I don't think it's just cause you like robots, but because the animals in it are abominations.
@@PerspectiveEnd True, though last time I said that in what of your comments, I got blasted, so maybe I'll keep that on the down low
What? No, I'm not bitter! And that interaction didn't ruin my entire day and give me a pit in my stomach at all!
Tankor: you don’t need to open the door if you can blast it to bits with brute strength or missles
The only question that comes to mind whenever I watch is "who actually thought that these designs were actually passible enough to be in this series?!"
I'm pretty sure they thought they were going to be the next big thing.
People really want to see you rip into Legacy, don't they?
I think the figures are pretty decent myself, even though there are some questionable design choices.
Also thoughts on the Rise Of The Beasts vehicle modes?
Oh yeah they do.
Yeah questionable is the word.
And they all look Cool enough, I'm more interested in Robot Modes.
I just wanna hear what the hell they said in the board room meeting for this show
I'm sure it was all very stupid.
Damn, we need a part 3 or make this a month thing
Nah that would rob it of it's value.
They made cloth by making thread. It's not yarn or string, but chain
So metal Cloth?
I'm glad I'm not the only one that finds Obsidian to be a really good design. I myself have the RID repaint with the desert camo themes deco, and I like it a lot. I'll say it again, but the BM designs deserve better toys despite being horrid designs. Redesign them some ofc, but still
The toys I often found I enjoyed more than the Show Designs. Like the Bee guy with the Spring for an arm.
@@PerspectiveEnd Buzzsaw? I guess he was good. Mirage was fun tho for me
I actually watched the show a few months ago and I have an answer to the cloth question you have. Apparently, Megatron’s cloak/cape/thing is his wings folded up to cover his body parts. That frees up the cloth question, but it kinda makes the show even more BS because Megatron’s wings become a completely different shape and texture from the cloak when no one could really do that in Beast Wars. And I think he did this to cover up his beast mode parts, but from who? Everyone on Cybertron is already dead. The only people who would’ve seen Megs’ beast parts were his butler and himself before the Maximals showed up. If it was bothering him so bad, couldn’t he have just scanned a tank mode or something? His character arc of wanting to get rid of his dragon mode is kinda pointless.
I have no idea how to end this, other than the fact that I didn’t notice how weird Strika looked until you said something. Honestly her newer design has just been sticking in my head as the definitive Strika for as long as I can remember. I wonder if they’re gonna make new figures of her and Obsidian in the near future.
That makes no sense, his wings are full of holes.
Yeah there should have been nothing stopping him from changing his mode.
Later artists sure fixed her design didn't they.
Why does obsidian have a helicopter alt mode, aren’t most cybertroin flight modes designed to work in space, and helicopters need an atmosphere to work, the same applies to cyberverse whirl
An interesting point, but if Cybertron didn't have an atmosphere, stuff wouldn't be able to explode on the planet's surface. Pluss the show insists that Cybertron is actually an organic planet covered in a metal shell.
I hope Obsidian shows up in more media because he really doesn’t show up that much
He keeps popping up in IDW but yeah that's about it.
I was like aren’t we missing a few people
Yep, and there was a Reason for that.
Magatron has the face mask in Beast Machines as an homage to the Cryotek toy
This is incorrect. Cryotech did not get a figure till 2002 which is later than when Megatron appeared like this in Beast Machines.
I’m guessing the answer is yes but are you planing or on ordering the kingdom Decepticons forever ravage set yet because thankfully it seems to have been made in massive number because it’s still up for order on Hasbro pulse.
Yes, even though I'm not really able to buy new figures any more I already made promises that I'd review that so it's the one exception to not buying stuff.
Oh ok, let me go to make popcorns and sit then enjoy
And how did you enjoy.
I love these roast videos, can’t wait for the next one.
Also, managed to subscribe to the pattern. Wish I could’ve gone for the 5 dollar tier but all I can really do rn is 1 buck lol.
Keep up the amazing content!
Thank you so much, I'm happy to get what ever you can give me. Besides I need more Grunts, I think it's like you and 1 other guy. How am I supposed to field an army with 2 foot soldiers?
And I'm glad you enjoy these.
@@PerspectiveEnd No problem! And the answer to that question is to provide them some spears, half functioning blasters, and promises of extra sleep. Miraculous what the prospect of more sleep can motivate a man to do.
I've always thought Strika was intended to be an APC or some kind of riot control vehicle. About the only thing Beast Machines got right was the voices; with the possible exception of Nightscream from the new cast. For the record; I've seen info saying he was originally intended to be female in the vein of Newt from Aliens; but was switched at the last minute and they made him be like John Connor from T2.
Now that I think about it; Megatron had a bad habit of bringing in new Predacons that didn't have hands. The only one he personally recruited or reprogrammed during Beast Wards that actually had normal hands was Rampage; and even then the only reason Rampage listened to him was self-preservation. The last one he had a hand in was Dinobot II, who had Freddy Krueger claws!
I mean the Freddy Kruger hands are still useful, and Quick Strike would have at least one useful mitt.
Though I suppose yes, the Voice Acting for Beast Machines would still be great.
@@PerspectiveEnd Useful yes, but effective outside of combat for anything else, not so much. Especially Quickstrike since he only had the mitt; at least D2 could use the individual claws like fingers.
Side note: I think the Noble dog/wolf/whatever mode somehow came from Silverbolt's wolf half. At least the DNA Megs might've used for it anyway. Don't ask me how that makes sense; believe me I don't know. I don't even know how you make a wholly organic transformer whose transformation looks nothing like even the weirdest Maximal transformations in the show! I'm still trying to figure out why the damned thing is blue! Nightscream's un-reformatted bat mode was normal in terms of size and coloring, at least relative to the size of the skeleton he scanned; where the hell did Megs get blue fur from!?
"Swole Scooby-Doo."
Put that on my toombstone.
If you had to be a femme bot who would you wanna be
Strika, arcee, windblade, slipstream, blackarnia, sari if she counts, rba whirl, quickshadow, or some other bot
I feel like Sari, because she gets all the pros of being human, while also still having the pros of being a robot, if she doesn't count it's probably gotta be Windblade because she can fly and she's good.
@@PerspectiveEnd ok though do you prefer rid windblade or cyberverse windblade
Can't say I prefer either of those, for me it's Comic Windblade all the way.
Speaking of beast wars for kingdom wave 4 Shadow Panther and Waspinator seem to be the only wave 4 figures being found early and I found them at my local Walmart 2 days ago Waspinator is really good Shadow Panther I got because I just like black repaints

@@PerspectiveEnd alright 😀
I know this is off topic but do you collect anything other than transformers? like I collect dc multiverse and marvel legends as well as halo mega Construx sets so I’m curious if other collectors do the same also thoughts on the new legacy figures? I like how there going back to older series like G2.
Unless video games count, I don't really Collect anything else, I do grab other things from time to time, but I don't have a goal or display in mind for those, I just grab them cause I want them.
@@PerspectiveEnd gotcha
I find it super ironic that bw megatron, the character with the most consistent face and head design out of any character in both beast wars and beast machine, has a design that’s just a floating head that looks nothing like him.

Ew.

That's an Interesting Question. I might leave the Bodies mostly alone, except for Nightscream, and insist that they have better less Disturbing heads.
What do you think of megatron using Optimus primes old body in the final
It was an interesting idea, though perhaps a bit odd. I never got the impression that he saw that body as the pinnacle.
If you were to bring any dead maximal or predacon from beast wars into this show, who would you chose and why. I think deapth charge fits the tone well enough, and airazor needed more screentime
hey perspective end what's your thoughts on the new legacy figures revealed
That will be Wednesday's video.
If I remember correctly in the beast machines dvd commentary, Savage represents Megatron's carnality, while Nobel represents his "humanity", both of his which he has cleansed himself of.
That's quite an interesting explanation.
Except Megatron Was Noble before escaping that body. And I mean how did his mind become manifest if that's the case.
@@PerspectiveEnd beast machines logic lol
@@PerspectiveEnd I suppose savage and noble's minds became manifest purely as instinct and then developed, because neither have Megatron's mind.

There is a reason why I never got the toys for beast machines
The toys were actually significantly less ugly.
The toys were better than the actual series itself
This Megatron looks less like Megatron, and more like Megatron.
Beast wars will always be my favorite the transformers show because it introduced me to the series and infused two of my favorite things qt the time: dinosaurs and robots
Who am i kidding those are two of my favorite things now also lol
Also it was Written Brilliantly.

The patrion is a really good idea
Thank you.
Everytime I watch Beast Wars on Tubi, I stop at around Nemesis: Part 2 at the end of the show where the proto-humans worship Waspinator as their God.
After that, I don't even bother watching Beast Machines, as it makes the ending of Beast Wars get thrown to the side..
Exactly. Beast Wars basically has a perfect ending, and it's just ruined by Beast Machines.

Waspintor was Reformatted into Thrust.
@@PerspectiveEnd True, but he had not much control, so it isn't really him in my mind. At least he was happy in there.
Well that just prime
Glad you feel that way.
Honestly beast machines is my second favorite transformers show (1st being transformers cybertron), I personally really liked how the characters changed from how they were in beast wars. Their change felt like a natural way people would react to the world as they knew it turning upside-down, especially Optimus Primal as it portrays how someone who is deep into a life of science turns to religion once they reach a state where science no longer can give them answers and then later learns that religion and science don't have to be mutually exclusive and can actually create a better world if used together (the techno organic cybertron). As for cybertron being revealed to be partially organic I felt it made sense and even fits with those weird vines from a couple episodes of G1, I imagined it as the organic parts of cybertron are stuff like it's immune system or organs while the metal parts are like its flesh, bones, and muscles which would explain why all the organic stuff is deep in the planet and rarely seen outside of beast machines where the planet has literally been infected with a virus. Then again maybe I'm just crazy.
I'd tend to disagree, in that 1 it does not feel natural, because they aren't them selves but with a new outlook, they are literally 100% not the same.
And 2 the show creator was not allowed to watch Beast Wars, he was explicitly hired because he'd never seen transformers, and was Forbid from watching the franchise because Hasbro thought it would make for better art.
So they can't be the same characters with a new outlook because the guy who made it didn't know who the characters were.
