im curious, whats the difference between synth pop and disco?
disco typically pulls from funk and soul influences and usually has a prominent bass line, while synthpop is usually easily distinguishable with its synthesizers (obviously) and it definitely leans more towards poppier melodies and shorter runtimes as some disco tracks can and are usually longer than the common song length
