My grandfather told me a story and I too always take a knife with me, specifically a knife on my belt. He was elderly by this point but he was still active. He was doing some bass fishing and remembered he had his waders in his truck. Got in them and went into the water. He's fishing lilly pads and has on heavy braid. He does his thing in the pads but gets hit in the open water. He waits for it to hit again and goes for the hookset. He see the swirl like he missed the fish but all of a sudden he's fighting a fish and feels heavy weight. He missed with his hook set, but he accidentally foul hooked a 7 foot gar. The river isn't too deep or wide at this part and the gar ends up darting right between his legs knocking him over. He's now getting tangled up in his 20 pound braid and half way drowning. The gar takes off and pulls the slack line tight around my grandfathers ankles. He's fighting to stay above water but he makes it to shore. He gets free enough to stumble to his truck to get his knife and cut himself free. He had cuts in a couple places from where the braid dug into him. All said and done, he always had a knife on his belt after that, and I to always keep it with me. Rest in peace Grandpa

Some tips on the skunk issue, soak rags in ammonia and place them outside the burrow once it has left for the night. Worked at my house. Skunk left uppon returning.
Googan squad should team up with the sheath maker and skiff knives to crank out some serious fishing and hunting combos. Just like favorite, each of you could have your own preferred set up for sale. Keep it priced right and they’ll fly off the shelves!

My only gripe with kydex is it deforms when it gets hot. I keep my gun and an iwb holster in my car while at work and i've had to replace the kydex part several times in the past couple years

I wish you had comments on the LakeLifeFamily channel so I could tell you there that you need to wrap that skunk trap in something so when you catch the skunk it won't be able to spray you through the cage. Strap down the can of cat food in the center of the cage just a couple of inches in front of the trigger and set the trigger to go off at the lightest touch possible. Also you might want to slap a coat of paint on that drywall in your garage to keep it from absorbing moisture before you put anything over it. God bless and good luck amigo!

Hey was just watching skunk video on lake life channel. I had same problem trapping some cats found out the metal colar flap that is a different color and material as the rest of trap. They notice its different and wont step on it. Had a purple trap that the flap was same material and color as rest of trap and worked every time.

Looks a lot like the sheath that comes with the Benchmade Infidel fixed blade. Definitely doesn’t have the plier sheath though. I like it. I’m a knife guy so I’ll have to check him out.

LFG knows his knives! ESEE's are workhorses and Morakniv is easily the best knife for the money. If you are ever interested in another, i can't recommend LT Wright enough. His knives are very well priced and are absolutely incredible. I have about 3 of his knives and i love every one.
Like the eat sleep dangle shirt! That's one nice sheath! You should make a shirt with something like dangle all day on it.

I used to have a bad ass custom knife that I carried hunting and always carried it upside down in it's sheath because it worked perfect. However on one hunt it slipped out of its leather sheath and it was no more..
