He claims one of the defendants chased him outside of the restaurant with a gun, and says they were rude to him because he’s gay. He’s suing for discrimination. Those write ups should have been thrown out without an employee signature. The defendants forged those write-ups. They are lying because any good HR or Manager should know that an employee must sign their write up to show they understand the violation and policy they violated.

Yeah those write ups were suspicious... all of them were after their meeting. All of those dates were back to back. So you're telling me he was fine and then the last month of him working there got wrote up every other day.

If his signature wasn’t on those write ups, they’re invalid. Also, EVERY write up was after 05/18 when he said the issues started after that date. Judge Mathis missed ALL of that. And he should’ve been able to read between the lines with all those employee statements. I think Judge Mathis dropped the ball on this case.

People can refuse to sign a write up, that doesnt mean it isnt a valid write up. I am a supervisor and have employees refuse to sign write ups, That is the standard at union facilities especially. The write up still counts. I just note at the bottom employee refused to sign and then I sign that part as well and give them a copy. They can refuse to accept the copy as well. Leave it on my desk or whatever they choose to do. It still is a write up and upper management views it as such.
You can refuse to sign a write up.....but its still a write up that goes in your file. They just notate that you refused to sign.

The plaintiff is definitely a character, but I do believe that thy illegally fired him, not so convinced that it was because he was gay, but how was everything fine up until May 18th, and then all of a sudden you a producing all the write up. Just for the money theft alone, if you believed he truly stole the money that right there was grounds for automatic termination but they allowed him to stay. Judge Mathis missed this one, she totally made up those write up for the show and also got her staff to lie, who side you think they gonna be on, his side or the person who’s paying them that can also fire them
I try my best to never work or associate myself with family ran businesses. Messy most of the time. Family will rip you off especially spoiled children.
My old company had never wrote me up but when it came time for litigation, they made a bunch of fake write up with fake dates but what made them look dumb was the fact that I never signed them so it was never really time stamped because of that
