- Landscape Photography in Iceland. Day 1, Week 2. We shoot some beautiful, dark, moody skies and endure over 36 hours of storms. It was hell, but we pulled through. We were camping in the Highlands, which made things incredibly challenging.

I live for these bad weather photography videos. They give me such inspiration to go out and try get something amazing even though I live in the #1 rainiest city in Canada
This panoramic with the waterfall is wonderfull!
The retake of the image with the cloud totally blew me away and proves the uniqueness of taking an image, never to be repeated. Sounds like my kinda trip....whisky!!!!

That second pano was gorgeous. Great job keeping everybody motivated and not giving in to the weather. I can say I've given in to the weather and missed photo opportunities because of it.
Brilliant, your workshops will be booked up for the next few years and you know what? I have watched your videos from the very first one and no one deserves it more than you do.

And there is the benefit of having a guide. I tried hiking to that waterfall in Feb 2015 through the snow. After over 2 hours i still couldn't find it and gave up. Great channel Thomas.
For me, that waterfall pano is one of your best shots. Absolutely love it.

Thomas I am currently feeling your pain just now. I am currently in the Isle of skye had spells of clear weather but followed by torrential rain. Been stuck in my tent most of the time. Keep up the good work that's one of the reasons I am out here just now being inspired by your trip up here
the comparison between the two panoramics is so great. With differents skies, a location can be so different, so many interpreations, moods. Thank you for your videos, always great work, with a touch of humor :)

It's good for the workshop to learn about dealing with bad weather and using it to create drama in a landscape and it looks like you managed to get some fantastic shots!

First of all, great videos, it took me about two weeks but I managed to binge watch all of them. Secondly I owe you an enormous thank you; it has been several years since I have actually felt the passion and desire to get out and take photos, and watching your videos and looking at your amazing photos have rekindled the fire that had lost. So again, thank you for the great content and I can't wait to see what you have in store for the future.

Classic Thomas Heaton! So inspiring! We are about to travel to NZ for two weeks (middle of winter). This video reminds me that regardless of the weather ❄️ we MUST get out there and take images! Thankfully we will be in a cosy Motorhome 🚐 not tents 😃
In the first photograph, the clouds were almost mimicking the mountains in the foreground, directly beneath them in the shot. Inspiring as always sir!

Those clouds at the start are called Undulatus Asperatus, a newly classified cloud type :)

Terrible photography weather is bright and harsh midday weather. It depresses me so much to see it. You're lucky to get that heavy rain! Haha
The stormy panorama in this video looks so much better than the one you made during the first workshop! The waterfall panorama is gorgeous as well!
