You are so right! I cleaned my craft room this summer and discovered all kind of hidden treasures! Thank you for subscribing!
I agree last year's was very pretty but this one is Gorgeous 💗💗💗💗
Thank you Ruth! Been thinking about you. Hope you are recovering and doing better!
That frame is so neat! I’ve never seen it before especially at a dollar store! I’m going to try and find it.
Absolutely gorgeous, not surprised! 😉 if you are making it, it’s gorgeous! Hope you are out of harms way! Stay safe, hugs…
Great tutorial
Looks great. I don't think it needs anything else. I like the braided tubing too.
Thanks for the video! I was looking for something alternative to the standard pumpkins, although I do hate working with the plastic deco mesh stuff, I have some nice sheers in print I can use, and tons of ribbon. Nice job!
😍
I hyst love love that ribbon - gorgeous. I wish i could get 21" poly burlap but no go in BC canada. Maybe on amazon but my last order took forever. Love it though. I have 4 frames I got & have to do something with them. I tried the weaving thing with chunky wool, started twice then said screw it - too much work & was only 1/4 way through both times, too tight then too loose. Gave up on that idea. Did one frame with orange glitter - looks good & another with sparling orange gems - now to figure out the rest - off to michaels to get ribbon now. Did one with orange broadcloth with orange sparling tulle on top of it - looks really good. thanks for sharing.
I also just did one weaving jute ribbon. I will give you the link. It's way easier than weaving yarn or rope.
Hi Val, Love your pumpkin it is gorgeous 😍 where did you get the pumpkin frames?
I actually ordered a case last year because I could never find them! I know you can order a case, and always exchange what you don't need in store as long as you have your receipt.
Nice Pumpkin Val. I agree, I thought the tin foil was throwing off the tubing / pumpkin. It looks really nice with bow too!
Can Poly Burlap be heat sealed? Or is Modge Podge the way to go with Poly Burlap?
Hope you’re enjoying vacation!!!
You can heat seal, but you have no way to seal it on the pumpkin once you have glued it on. I think modge podge is the best alternative.
I love your pumpkin. Could you tell me where you got your ribbon?
Thank you 😊
Where did u find the poly burlap in that color? N did U say it was a 21”. I really wanted to try this pumpkin form using the poly burlap for my first time n making the pedal leaves to cover the pumpkin form. I never used burlap before n it looked like it works better than mesh on the raveling, but maybe not from what you just said, lol. Maybe I started looking for the orange color too late or too close to the fall time. I wanted it for a craft fair I was working on the 2nd week in Sept. n I know u have to buy early for up coming holidays, but I even tried Michael’s, JoAnn’s fabric n HobbyLobby. I forgot to try Walmart, but there is just some stores I stay away from as much as possible, lol. I believe I did look online for it at Walmart n also this craft store online that I used to order from, whenever my craft stores didn’t have the color I wanted. I had no luck in finding n i didn’t know what size or how the burlap would come. I did find the much smaller roll of like 5-1/2” in an burnt orange color n bought 2 rolls, thinking I had what I needed, but once I found the utube again, it used a roll of 10” burlap. I only had Deco mesh in an orange color, but the waxy type, that I had hoped wouldn’t ravel as much. I didn’t realize that burlap raveled, until I cut pieces of the green I bought for the leaves, lol I made it, but it certainly wasn’t my better projects although, it did sell at the fair so that worked n wasn’t a waste! Thanks for listening n I did suscribe to your utube video’s also. If your able to, let me know where u found the burlap in color orange n also does it come on a roll like the deco mesh, or by the yard of material like fabric comes? Thanks in advance! Love this pumpkin too with the burlap too, but I have cotton fabric n not sure it will look as cute as the burlap makes it look.
It's actually poly burlap, 21". I bought it from Craft Outlet, an online craft store. It does fray too.
I bought about 10-15 of those frames last year and never got around to making the wreath ..!! I’m gonna make one for myself and maybe make a few To sell …
What is the best way to hang the pumpkin wreath frame
I use the pipe cleaner that I wrap around the stem to attach the bow.
I love it but dollar here in Texas does not have to n the store u have to order on line and get 24 of them!
Is that 21" poly fabric mesh. Or poly deco mesh I 'm new and so confused. Do you have the sku# and did you get from craft outlet
It's 21 inch cotton blend fabric mesh. I think I got it from craftoutlet.com.
I'm sorry, this pumpkin was orange poly burlap, 21 inch. I just posted another one and I thought you were asking about it. You can truly use any 21 inch mesh that is thicker.
Hey Val! Did you post FINAL pics of this Pumpkin somewhere?
@@ValsVisionsandDesigns Thank you!!! I want to check it out, of course. I noticed the $ Tree frames on their site are listed as 13 X 17.625 inches. Is that the size you were working with on today's live? I came in a bit late so I didn't catch that.
@@ValsVisionsandDesigns Thank you for the update! And for taking the time to do a LIVE today. I love how it turned out. Still waiting for Dollar Tree Pumpkin frames to make their appearance in the stores up here. OR the Border to OPEN between Canada and the US!!! That would be my preference bcuz I can ship to my US address again. I feel like I'm watching paint dry with regard to this particular matter!!! I have a vaccine record on my phone now they can scan it at the border, so I'm good to go!!!!
Where did you find the poly burlap?
I purchased it from craftoutlet.com. It's a great place to buy wreath supplies.
Can never find the pumpkin frames at the Dollar tree.
I broke down and purchased a case last year. You can definitely try online and see if you can order less.
Would regular burlap work instead of the poly burlap?
I purchased my 21" poly burlap from craftoutlet. It's an online craft store.
Because it can be difficult, I tried it
Also, attaching my pumpkin frame playlist. I have made many over the years.
