Your Calathea Doesn't Hate You! Ways to Avoid Brown Tips on your plant 🪴

  • Calatheas are misunderstood houseplants. Many plant parents struggle with brown tips on their calatheas. Inconsistent or Low Humidity is the problem most of the times. Improper watering can also cause brown crispy edges as well. Thankfully, there are some hacks - ways - tips that we can use to our advantage to avoid this problem as much as possible! The things I share with you are not only applicable to Calatheas, they work with all the humidity sensitive houseplants. But always remember that everything is normal, everything is nature 🪴

      Oh no, calatheas are wonderful plants it just needs some time till you can figure out how to adapt them to your home environment. Then they are super rewarding!!!

    I have 5 different kinds of maranta and calathea and they all live in a pretty dry environment because our house has an ambient humidity of 35% in winter which is pretty low for humans with dry skin as well😂
    Calatheas aren’t even as annoying or bitchy as a lot of people say - if you’re growing them in leca, pon or even just water because they’ll be doing amazing! I learned that the hard way 😂

      I agree that’s exactly what I’m saying! A lot of people are scared of them but the truth is that they don’t deserve that reputation. You can absolutely keep them in normal household humidity if the watering is right (something that is hard to always achieve if potted in soil) Leca and the other materials are straightforward automated I would say, that’s why they work so well.
