When I was growing up the Amish men wore coats that had a cape attached to it but I haven’t seen anyone wearing them in a very long time now. Are they still worn today?
I only had 4 or 5 different shirts, and 2 or 3 pairs of pants. So you could wear your favorite ones every other week. 🤣 Church clothes I had one pair each. Same clothes to church every Sunday
@@amishog8123 Did the kids get to pick which clothes they wore on a daily basis or did their parents tell the kids which shirt (for example: color) to wear for the day? (Meaning the parents sat an outfit on the bed and said, "Okay this is what you'll wear today/tomorrow")

Overcoats aren't as common as they used to be. It seems they went out of style. My dad never wore one, and very few people younger than him did
