    I got to spend time with here at Deep Creek, when I was a kid. She was a Incredible Person.

    I don't think this needs to be subtitled, I think doing so would prioritize English rather than preserving the index of the original spoken language.
    This portrait of Augusta and her patch of forest is lovely, and made me a bit homesick. Thanks NFB for another beautiful shortdoc.

    Seems like a nice woman, but she betrayed her people twice: By marrying a non-Indian and by embracing the religion of her conquerors. I'll never understand that. What a shame that their language was stolen from them, and that they're so passive about religion.
