Remember when Tsunade first summoned Katsuyu? She said to attached herself to ALL people in the village, both civilians and shinobis alike. That is the reason why majority of the people in the village survived Pain's jutsu. And that is also the reason why Danzo said that with Tsunade as Hokage, there will be some losses, but he is sure that with her around, the village will not cease to be.
Exactly I agree. Tsunade may not be the strongest hokage but her medical skills are beyond comparison. 🙈
I doubt that majority survived, since when pain revived everyone you can see too many souls finding their body.
@@wintershogun2696 You cannot also say otherwise. What we have as established facts was Tsunade ordered Katsuyu to attach herself to EVERYONE in the village. This fact is directly connected to Danzo's adamant belief that with Tsunade around, the village will not perish but with casualities. It was also because of Tsunade's efforts that those who have already died had intact bodies for their souls to return to.
@@mr.googoopants3581 well many people did die.. the revival scene did entails that.. tsunade only protected few but important people/shinobi in the village.

FUN FACT: Masashi Kishimoto spent 3 days drawing that moment where Pain was flying over the entire village before using his Almighty Push in the manga
as an artist myself, i can confirm, drawing any village like a japanese edo era type style such as the leaf, is a massive pain in the rear end. Not surprised it took that long

Aburame wear sunglasses because their training method is to sit in a dark room with lots of bugs. So they feel an eye pain on rhe daylight. Also the bugs can come out of their eyes

No this a theory.The aburame clan specializes in secrect jutsus.The bugs and insects lives inside their body.They can come out from any parts if the body.It's a logical theory.Also some of the episodes had end credits which had comedic scenes of the characters for audience and some explanations on different jutsus.

Naruto's entrance music that was played here was the same one they played in the Zabuza arc when the knucklehead showed up on the bridge fight.
That image of pain up in the sky looking down at the village is still one of the coolest things.

Ya!i think this is the best fight in narutoverse coz mostly in narutofights are emotional and probably based on iq meanwhile pain vs naruto is emotional,intersting,naruto used the perfect biq,and then the power of nine tails.This is just perfect.The only thing it lacks is animation at some points.
Pain was about to leave for Mount Myoboku and Tsunade just had to pressure him to destroy the village :D But at least in doing so Naruto didn't miss him

CHIBAKU TENSEI
Too bad it wasn't animated that good in the Anime. I remember how I was disappointed about the animation when comparing it to how it looked in the manga. Some parts were animated quite great but for the most part it wasn't that good. I mean even the fights between Jiraya and Pain and then Sasuke vs Itachi were animated much better. I was expecting a far greater level of animation and presentation for such an important and epic fight, maybe the best fight out of all Shippuden

@@grizz8217 Ok, style, animation, whatever you want to call it. In the manga it still looked better and the anime for the most part didn't do it justice. Jiraya vs Pain and Sasuke vs Itachi fights (which happened just before the Naruto vs Pain fight) looked so much better and their anime versions didn't disappoint me as much as the anime version of Naruto vs Pain did. P. S. Just in case I didn't explain myself well, I am very glad with how Jiraya vs Pain and Sasuke vs Itachi fights looked in the anime
@@lukeizabelle2131 If we would have gotten the Kakashi vs Obito style of animation i'm sure the actual fighting would have gone down as one of the best scenes in all of anime history. I still enjoy it though.

So now we finally have confirmation that Pain is Nagato.
Nagato didn't destroy the Leaf just because of Tsunade's words. As he says it himself, he's letting the world know pain. He's making the Leaf feel the same that he felt from the wars. The Rain Village was devastated by wars that the Great Shinobi Nations fought. This is his revenge while still continuing his goals of making people feel the same pain.
The slowness of the Rasenshuriken is just anime time. In the manga, the Rasenshuriken is *fast*. It was way too quick for Preta Path to get in front to absorb it.
The reason why pain did the ultimate shinra tensei (Almight push) is to prove a point. When pain asks tsunade and her team why did they have chakra under their feet and confers that his abilities are known to them. But then he says "All is meaningless against overwhelming power that you nations have proved over the years" He wanted to prove that the power that he poses was so high that he could wipe a village like great nations did to his. There is no point in struggle.
I’m really glad you understood that Pain decided to basically blow up the village because of Tsunades answer, and not because of ReVeNgE AgAiNsT kOnOhA

Naruto's drip,entrance,calm and cool mind,and that badass nature is just insane.His drip makes him ten times cooler and gives the aura of a sage.Also his ideals change from avenging jiraya's death to make that peace jiraya wanted and ending the cycle of hatred nagato mentioned.This naruto is the best character in the series with nagato,obito and madara.

9:50 man, the dub really can’t compare. You can hear the strain in pain’s voice when he says “shinra tensei.” In the dub there’s no strain at all. It’s the little things like that which make the sub so much better

Pain was actually about to leave the Village until Tsunade triggered him by playing the victim card. He was enraged at the hypocrisy and audacity of the Leaf Village to try to act innocent when it and the rest of the great Villages all do scummy sh*t to maintain their power, at the expense of destroying smaller, lesser nations. That's when he decided to let everyone feel TRUE PAIN.

Pain finding out the information so easily really goes to show just how wrong Danzo is about leaving Naruto away and not actually helping the village.
Even I didnt know Pain's backstory when I first time see he destroy leaf village it made so happy that cause it time for payback.
I was always curious that there is 3 war had happened in Naruto universe and still there is fighting so much on nation level absurd reality of great nation.
Characters in Naruto who have a very sad past, Naruto, Might Guy, Kabuto, and Nagato
Itachi? Sasuke? Lee? Kakashi? Obito?
As much as I love, love, loooove what comes later…this is still in the top 3 arcs of the entire series.

Tsunade protected most the civlians and shinobi that could not protect themselves using katsuyu but used up all her chakra and had no strength to fight pain at the end
At the end when Naruto threw the Rasenshuriken the absorber pain was dead [he got punched earlier] so he can't absorb it at any kind of way

Hiro was the one being summoned when using Bring-Down-the-House Jutsu. It was originally used by Jiraiya during Konoha Invasion way back Shonen Jump. Basically, Jiraiya can summon 3 toads as well as the two Great Mount Myoboku Sages. He is that OP which people overlooked.
Orochimaru tried to destroy the village multiple times, but Pain destroyed it in few seconds.
