Great delivery bike in urban areas. I cant wait to get mine.
I love the front tire burnouts! Haha. Finally got a shipping update this morning. Delivering tomorrow. Yikes. Just after I left town. Haha. Of course. Luckily I will at least have my wife home to sign for it. Cool vid, it is interesting seeing someone do deliveries.
I try not to burn out too much hahah, the tire will be gone in a month. I did it with my first D class hahah
I actually really appreciated this video. I've been kind of interested in delivering.. it seems like itd be fun on the grizzly. The only issue is like you mentioned, locking up the bike downtown
Nice, I do the same on my dual motor Lectric xp, easy money. You're the first one with the ariel rider grizzly vlogs, this makes you the OG. đđŸ- subbed
With your name, you need a grizzly đ€Ł. Thanks for watching and subbing!
@@Splices definitely had my eyes on it when it was announced.
Here's a hack for more doordash orders, select scooter as your vehicle and the orders will come much more frequent, when I dash on the bike setting, orders are scarce.
I emailed them and asked to switch to scooter a while back but they never did... and I can't do it in app.. I'll just shoot them something again, thanks!
Your videos are Kool but you need to also video your bike at least when you're walking up to it. Thanks
I have a video that shows the whole bike.
Makin' money riding a killer bike. Is there anything better?
Iâm more enjoying your videos than the LA esk8 đđđ keep coming up !
How?? Lol I don't even talk much đ€Ł
@@Splices cuz I wanna do delivery too lol ...
@@fenglin6492 I wouldn't like doing deliveries in the city in new york lol too much theft, which is why I don't do deliveries in downtown seattle
I love that 'hub motor hum'!!!! Great vid! How fast have you had the Grizz rolling? About how much does the Grizz weigh?
33-34 mph on flat, 105 lbs âĄ
@@Splices 105!? I didnt realize that. I thought it was less than 100lbs.
Park at the window. My bike stands in line with me sometimes lol
Thing weighs 105lbs I'd rather just park it lol
i could see you streaming your deliveries and talking to us while waiting
honestly, that would be too much to pay attention to lol.
that's awesome! I like this video
I'd like to make it better by wearing my full-face helmet and my mic so the wind is gone but It feels so weird walking into places with my full helmet, and it's harder to wear a mask... sucks
@@Splices not too bad though I feel like I can hear you pretty good in the video. nice job though for sure always wondered what it would be like pov.
@@masonjagat Thanks! I was thinking I should just lower the volume on the riding/wind and put some music but Idk
I'm ready to give this a try. But I would suggest using a alarm system always once getting off the bike.
I use one. Depending on the drop off( like if I'm hoing to be a while in an apt searching for a room), I will or will not use it. I have a video called "time for a new alarm?" Where my alarm malfunctions haha
I have the Ariel horn alarm and a brake rotor alarm I use on my other E-bike. Plus an abus folding combo lock. Much easier to carry than my Kryptonite locks.đ AND WHOPPIE MINES FINALLY ON THE MOVE đ„ł. In Portland scheduled for 3/13 delivery đ„łđ„łđ„łâ
Nice! :)
Hi Splicers. Greetings from the U.K. I've watched so many of your videos, really loving the content. I have just bought a Barracuda rogue monkey which has the same frame as the Ariel rider d class
I heard you mention the manufacturer of the different hub motors for each e-bike that you have. I wanted to beef up the performance of my barracuda to match the performance of the d class or even the grizzly. If you could provide me with any detailed information of the spec of the hub motors and the manufacturers and spec of the controllers that would be greatly appreciated. My barracuda only has 250w motor. Thanks in advance âșïž
You would have to contact Ariel rider on that.. unlike most companies, Ariel rider has custom motors made for them using steel gears instead of nylon. Thanks for watching man! Wish I had more info on all of it!
Wow
woooo food :D
yummy foodz
Keep making these kinds of videos please. I think I'm going to quit construction in June and do Uber eats on my bike....is the money good? Seems like you have to do alot of work to get ahead ?
It can be good depending on what area you are in. I wish I could still be doing Uber eats but they got a speed cap of 25 mph and I went over that just by going down hills many times..I was making $30-$40 an hour on ubereats in the summer.. but yea, you should join this fb group called "crank hustle" and ask how the market is in your area and people will let you know how it is. đđȘ
@@Splices turn the app off when you speed, that's what Yoga Steve does on his scooter in Hollywood.
@@anacondahugs808 it's too late for that, got deactivated on Uber last year
How far from each of your delivery. The bike only has a max rang of 50 miles. Thank you great exercise and got pay too. Nice work man.
Around 1-3 miles is all they send me, I usually do 2-3 hours lunch or dinner and always have some juice left
Have you tested the full range throttle only on the grizzly?
In very hilly terrain, 30-35 miles throttle only/dual motors
Sick of the regular 9-5 I hope I can do this when I finally get an ebike.
Yea I quit my restaurant job for this lol
@@Splices I bet you're happier and manage time better.
@@splicecentral9079 waaay better hahaha, I was pretty depressed working those jobs
@@Splices Man, I gotta do this. I make decent bank rn but I'm miserable lol.
Keeping up with traffic downtown. Cannot with a bike
Man I would be chopping on those McDonaldâs fries. Good video, is the bike worth the price in your opinion?
đ€Ł Yeah definitely worth the price for what you get when you compare it to a super 73 rx (48v 1 battery 1 motor dual suspension $3,700) Grizzly (52v Dual motors/Dual batteries/dual suspension $3300.) You get so much more for so much less.
@@Splices how many miles have you put on the grizzly? Also have you had any issues with it?
@@Kolsch221 3000 on my gen 1 and just hit 1000 on my gen 2, no problems on either
I noticed the power bank dangling from your bars. Is the usb port on the display not a good source for charging?
It is, I'd just rather draw from elsewhere. I got like 5 power banks so might as well use them lol
It makes my voltage / battery percentage drop dramatically on my bike when I plug my phone in
@@Splices Great minds think alike. I to have a bunch of power banks đ
What sorta cargo setup do you have one the back?
Just your typical food delivery insulated backpack đ€Ł
How fast you do you think l could get the Grizzly up to , with me being 6' 235 lbs?
Well when I hit 35 I was going down a slight hill. Top speed is more like 33-34 mph. You can get that easy! The bike is very powerful.
Hi I wanted to ask were you using dual motor in this video or single motor
Both, it depends on if I need to go faster or not, or if I have to hill climb. If I'm in a chill area with no cars around me, I'll usually just use rear motor only since there is no urgency. đ
@@Splices does dual motor drain more battery even if i use both batteries together?
@@haadykhan6358 you are using double the amount of power so yes, you do drain the battery faster
I can't wait get my cyberx xion. ...this in Seattle?
I've seen those, hope the first shipments don't have any problems! I'm not really a fan of how it looks tbh, but I'm not really a fan of how the stock grizzly looks either đ€Ł
Yeah but I pay like 2850 for v.i.p
@@kennethdiaz1547 yes seattle, northgate area
You should look into brake bedding to stop that squeeling
Turns out my bleed port was leaking fluid and contaminating my pads. This was a month ago though.
where did you get that top bar compartment?
Measured and cut some 1/16 inch thick abs plastic sheets, I actually ended up taking them off, it was quite annoying and not practical. It just looked good haha
Hey did you have an issue with a rear tire leaking air?
Nope!
isnt there a usb charger connector on the bottom of the mph display?
Yup!
USB is only 1A.
Everything is 2A except the smallest cheapest old phones. I hope the upgrade that by the May 25 ship date.
Do you need a drivers license or just an ID for delivering for these companies
Only license if you use a car account, nothing required for bike account
How far is each of your order. The bike only have max rang of 50 miles. Nice work man. Get a work out and get pay as well. Canât go wrong.
I usually only do 2-3 hours for lunch and same for dinner. Around 1-3 miles per order
Hi splices I like what you are doing I am in Edmonton Canada and I want to buy one of this bike ,
Thanks! I think canada is limited to 500w motors, these are dual 750 :( but I'm not 100% sure on the laws so I could be wrong)
Just donât have enough range unless youâre sporting 2 batteries for a full day of work. Itâs why I opted to buy a Honda ADV150 for deliveries.
2 batteries on deck and my other bike (D class) has 2. When you set your acc to motorcycle, you are telling them you want farther orders. When you set it to ebike, they give you shorter distance orders. I personally prefer this method because it keeps me fairly close to home.
Do you know if there's anything we could get for turning signals to add to this bad boy??
You could wire in something, I've never done that though. There are also some battery powered turn signals on Amazon but they're not that bright in the day time.
@@Splices Thanks for the reply man! Yeah I'm trying to see if I can find something, I don't trust humans to pay attention but it helps. Any issues replacing any parts for this thing or upgrading your stock options? Also any info on a rear rack that would fit the Grizzly? I plan on taking my dog for rides via padded milk crate lol.
@@logan6094 I have 1k miles and everything is perfect! I've kept everything stock so far becomes my stupid little cover on top of my battery
@@logan6094 they're supposed to come out with a rear rack, not sure when that it though
@@Splices Unfortunately I JUST received an email back from them about the rack and Chloe says they don't have plans for a rack rn. So I'm wondering if I can just find an aftermarket that would fit, gotta take the pooch for cruises if not I gotta find another ride option even though I want this! đ Sick thanks man! How much u making on an average day and how many delivery-miles on a charge? Thanks man, Iâve got a stealth bomber and want to do this too in Florida.... edit* is that Madison Wisconsin? Iâm from there originally.
I usually only do 1-2 hours each for breakfast/lunch/dinner.. you could certainly do more..I'll usually rack in between $70-100 a day that way in my area.. I've worked longer hours but the farther you get from rush hours the less you will make. I don't know how the market is in florida or your specific city. I suggest joining the Facebook group called "crank hustle" and ask around. I can get 40 or so miles with the bike I'm using with normal riding in my hilly area but I usually don't even get to half battery when I'm done with a short shift so I'll charge until the next one to 80%
I make over $200/day in Hawaii. I made $300 last night because the last pizza delivery customer tipped me $100 to redirect his pizza to a second location 6 miles away in a lightning storm. $116 total for that last delivery, my new record.

Nah I'm good, I don't like the style of those bikes hahah, they're damn good bikes/scooters though!
I worked at NW Hospital before UW took over.
I might not of been around or just not aware that that happened, when did it occur?
@@Splices was a long time ago
When charging the battery.. if the bottom light turns green is it done charging?
yes, but sometimes you have to turn on the battery for the charger to turn on so check that first. if you know you have used the battery quite a bit and its showing green instantly then turn it on or off with the charger in and it will activate the charger.
@@Splices this is the first charge and it charged pretty fast. It took like 2 hrs..

I have squeal out, my rear brake was drenched in oil from the caliper leaking, so I cleaned it up and replaced the pads
@@Splices well hopefully you can get Ariel to pay for the parts . Was it from the cable or the caliper seal. I've seen a couple of Tekro on M/Bikes with blown calipers. I'm not sticking my camera on top of my helmet into peoples faces.
Talking about when your traveling not at door
@@davidcarrow6851 simply having a cam on my helmet is annoying, I have to turn it off and on, it weighs more and the weight is all on my neck, after many hours it sucks. So many disadvantages to top helmet. You also can't see the bike or the phone with a top cam unless I aim it down which then you can barley see what I'm looking at above. Clearly you're the only one that wants this. Check the likes to dislikes. If you don't like it, there are plenty of other CZcamsrs that deliver on ebike that you might enjoy. Thanks
Why do you obey all the street rules couldnât you cut down time by using sidewalks. All those red lights I donât really see an advantage
Lots of times there are kids so I'd rather not. I have a child myself and wouldn't want a high powered ebike plowing through the sidewalks. I used to do it until I almost hit a little girl that popped out from some bushes. Never again.
