With stars like Miley Cyrus coming out as bisexual and Karrueche Tran outing her father, Charlamagne feels it's too late for anyone to care because in the "transgender, trans-racial era" we live in today, being bisexual or gay is considered "basic." And now that gay marriage has been legalized nationwide, the television host (along with Vlad himself) feels gay men and lesbian women will deal with the same problems straight couples do. "Aye man, gay people have the right to be miserable just like the rest of us married folk," he believes. "Not saying I'm miserable, but, I'm just saying."
Charlamagne also speaks on his belief that polygamy should be legalized due to the presumably large amount of lonely women in the world. "It's good men out here that got one wife who can afford to have more than one," he explains. "I feel like everybody should have three - at least two."

andrewszombie my cousin is gay and the only oppression he faces is from our family. Charlamagne is saying our culture doesn't bash homosexuals which is true, gay pride parades is an example of that. In public there is no visible oppression because our society has socially accepted the idea of homosexuality expecially in our entertainment.
I hate it when people equate polygamy to gay marriage. Firstly, polygamy has complications that gay marriage does not. Tax treatment of the relationships is just an example. Pensions, insurance, and other financial instruments and arrangements present other challenges where polygamy is concerned. Gay marriage is rather easy and simple to accommodate versus polygamous marriages.

There are 2 MAIN reasons why people are against gay marriage.
Faith/Belief based - respectable, it's how you were brought up and it's what a persons faith teaches or believes.
Financial based - A lot of big companies that offer benefits to married couples were proponents of going against gay marriage to reduce the number of benefits given to " married " couples.
Anything outside of these 2 is usually bigotry. The financial one is the one I have a problem with, that a person could cloud their judgement solely with the focus of capital gain or retention.
I can only imagine what kind of divorce laws and practices would have to get rewritten if polygamy was legal nation wide. How does allocation of assets work when a man is legally tied to 3 women and he's only divorcing one. Would assets be divided into 6 since each marriage contract could be counted as a 2 person contract with the 1 man holding 3 contracts while the 3 women hold 3? So if he did divorce one wife would the married couples remaining assets be 5/6th of what it was or would they divide the assets into 4 to match the number of persons in the marriage.
