Grouting A Shower Using Laticrete Spectralock 1 Pre-Mixed Grout

other people said the orgization demand that silicone must be used in cornor, one of my inner corner has a big tile ,maybe i will follow you ,first grout it with spectralock pro ,and then cover it with silicone. but i even don't know ,is it permitted ?

Thanks for the question, I reviewed the TCNA handbook 2019 version and I don't see anything specific regarding wall to wall changes of plane, but it does state that for where the floor meets the wall it should be filled with Flexible mildew-resistant sealant-ASTM C920. Just to be clear I didn't use the sealant I used grout. However, if cracks develop I may add it over top of the grout with a thin small bead. Maybe others have better guidance.

I was trying to figure out what that little inset in the wall is close to the floor and it just occurred to me what it might be and, if it is what I think it is, it is pure genius! Is it a foot hold for the women in the house who want to shave their legs while in the shower, or the men if that is their thing...?
