Lol I did the same thing hoping this would get around that. We just need to not try and reset someone elses phone :P
I reset my OWN phone and the thing won't let me log in to MY OWN google account to get through Setup. It will let me completely reset my password without any verification of my identity, security question, prompting me via e-mail that my password has been changed, etc. BUT it will not let me get through the setup and access my own fucking phone. Apparently this has been happening to people for years. I want to know who's decision it was to completely ignore customer feedback regarding a feature that's so horrendously broken.

i really need your help.. i have a S6 edge+ SM-G928A.. it's stuck on Samsung logo but i still can get in the download mode, but no recovery mode.. it had a baseband issue first, and flashed it with diff firmware, then i got DRK message trying to flash it again, now after trying all i could, the problem is in the recovery or the boot, i just don't know what to do pleeeaaaaase help!!
I'm at the blue screen with the yellow arrow, but now how do I get to use my phone back, put it on the home page, or how do get to put apps on home page, or how do I set up a new google account, anything to get me back using my phone.

Does this only work for that type of phone?
i have the s6 with bmobile(network Provider) and they told me not to install update because there is an issue which has to be rectified first but it happened by accident and now my phone is in roaming mode no matter what i do. will this remove the update and restore the previous setting?
Failed to mount.....preload no such files or directory ... this showed up in red as an error when I did factory reset like you did in your video
so how do you get past the google lockout on the tracfone on5 samsung phone. i can't even use the usb it say not turned on. has to be a fix somewhere.

i isntalled a new touch screen on my galaxy mega 2. screem was working before but it had some scratches. so i put a new one and its not working. i bought a second touch screen thinking the first one was not good. i tried hard reset but i get a message that says E:failed to mount /preload (no such file or directory) what should i do?

Ronald Nool apparently you have to wait three days with ur phone OFF and then you'll be able to log in. i have the same exact problem and i saw this answer. i love samsung, but come on, this is annoying

I have been trying to reset an LG phone and when I do the factory reset by holding power and volume down, it doesn't reset. When phone starts back up it still asks for gmail associated with the phone. Shouldn't it wipe that? I wanna put a new user on phone and have no idea what old info is.

what do I do if I have a galaxy s6 edge, it went out of battery and never turned on again...I tried those options Home + Power + volume Up and tried also volume down and none of them would work..it doesn't even show the lightning bolt as it's charging and the charger is working fine cos I have a galaxy J5 (2016) and it charges fine.. ?in this country the warranty is worth nothing...zero.. it's ridiculous
