Bro had a Post kill clarity
44:00, I'm pretty sure Paula here in a last ditch effort was trying to attack the player through breaking the fourth wall, hence the cracks and why the collateral only did 1 dmg.
And shes on her knees which is implying that she is using her prayer ability to reach out to the player like she does in Earthbound. And much like Earthbound she prays in attempt to get the player to help her and the team defeat the enemy. Unlike Earthbound however, *the player is not on they’re side!*
@@heavywalrus1443 I didn't play Earthbound but that's actually interesting fun fact to learn about!
@@heavywalrus1443 That’s sad.
34:50 That's not even the reason Paula stops healing in the second phase. In EarthBound, Paula can't use PK Lifeup, but Ness can, meaning he had to have been the one healing her for the whole fight instead of himself :(
I wonder if that's why she can use it when she's on your team but only if you use Kris' turn to tell her to do it. Like how Susie can only use Red Buster if Kris tells her to. Because Kris (or the soul inside Kris) can tap into people's potential & help them cast "a spell they don't know".

I love the fact that the version of Megalovania that plays during the Paula fight is constructed around the original Earthbound version by Toby, rather than the Undertale version
Yup
It makes even more sense when you consider how the original Megalovania in the Earthbound Halloween Hack was used and the whole idea it's supposed to be a play on the word Megalomania.
There is a theory that megalovania is the player's theme because,
Megalovania is close to megalomaniac
that doesn't describe Sans or Paula cuz a megalomaniac is basiclly a power-hungry person
@@ICantChooseAHandle Vania = castlevania tho, or mania.
@@Swagpion Ok? How does that prove them wrong.
To be honest, this is so scary, the concept of being strong enough to draw blood instead of dust is so creepy and disturbing for me, and also, this is my favorite UT/DR fangame of all time, it's so expressive, funny and disturbing, i can't wait for chapter 3!
(I also notted the sharper editing, i really like it!)
Your pfp co7ld probably send somebody into depression yet still be drip anyway
Does the blood only matter cause bodies remain, but dust doesn't?
I mean, that seems to be basically the only difference, consequence wise.
None of the creatures in the first area draw blood because plants and trees and robots don't have blood. The coil snake isn't a monster just an animal so natrually it bleeds.
The bloody mess was actually funny concept for a undertale game
It’s not because they’re strong, it’s because it wasn’t a monster. It was normal animals/humans.
This route is already horrifying, but it gets even more disturbing once you realize what the consequences of the player's killing spree will be for the Earthbound world as a whole.
I can understand that, as in the Pacifist Route, Ness says that the Delta-Warriors and I quote, "Brought [Ness] closer to defeating Giyagas." So, without Ness, the entire world as the people know it will fall under his control, basically DOOMING THE ENTIRE EARTHBOUND UNIVERSE! KRIS DIDN'T EVEN *WANT* THIS! *WE* ARE THE TRUE VILLAIN HERE!

This route never manages to disappoint us in any fangame. Maybe the characters in the game can't say the same, but the experience was fun.
What never disappoint me is Merg showing he’s veteran tittle in this final fight.
Yea
I mean I really liked the Paula fight it took me a couple of tries.
Me: *Protects Paula and Uses the Atomic Proton Plasma Scream on Kris Noelle and Susie and Takes Ness to the Hospital with Paula*
I am trying to do this route and I am severely angry at myself for trying it
DELTATRAVELER feels like a game Toby would make if he was allowed to use diffrent franchises and AUs in it. During the Pacifist Route, it's goofy and charming, but does have more serious moments. The Genocide Route on the other hand, is horrifying and extremely disturbing. It makes you feel like a horrible person, and doesn't reward you for anything that you've done. Sarah and the rest of the DELTATRAVELER team did an incredible job at recreating Toby's sense of humor, writing style ETC. It's definitely the best Deltarune fangame I've ever played.
To be honest... The fact that you kill Paula and Ness (and literally everything else you encounter) is kinda sad. Because then the world basically ends.. And fun fact, Noelle's Iceshock TP has changed from 16% to 24% when comparing to Deltarune Chapter 2. Dunno why, but it's increased. And also, uh... I forgot. But yeah, killing everyone is worse than Snowgrave because, even though you basically kill Berdly in Snowgrave, that's in the dark world and he MIGHT not be dead, and that's just 1 person. In this game? It's an entire town and 2 kids.
EDIT: Fun fact, if you "Reflect" then "Talk", then "Reflect" again and "Talk" again to Ness, you can then "Apologize" and "Talk" to Paula, which will allow you to spare them. However, you can also do a betrayal kill. It's actually quite nice as they stop attacking allowing you to get max TP and healing to full before fighting Paula.

I'm not very knowledgeable of Earthbound but from what I know Ness is the main character, so in killing him and Paula you have literally doomed their world. I also had a feeling it would be Ness you'd fight at the end of this route and not Porky since in Earthbound if I'm not mistaken Porky is an antagonist. I'll be honest I was not expecting Paula to show up, although it makes sense.
To be technical in Earthbound his name is Pokey, Porky is his name in mother 3
Technically Paula is the only person required to beat Giygas since her "Pray" ability is what allows you to win
@@PROPLAYEN what's interesting is that Paula's Pray ability is extremely risky to use outside of the fight with Giygas

Paula is a big fan of undertale (real)
I was never one to do a genocide run in any game because I'd feel bad, so I usually watch them cause it's not really me doing it. But this just completely shattered that "well I'm not doing it so I'm not gonna be too sad about it." Just looking at how Susie didn't want to do it and Noelle going snowgrave mind while you're not only killing people but seeing their body lay there making a blood puddle is... unsettling to say the least. You wouldn't be able to pay me to do this so I'm happy you are
Literally me.
This is probably even worst than the undertale genocide, I felt bad for them just from watching
Actually me
The fact that they don't even turn to dust anymore, that they just *die* outright is discomforting
lmao flowey literally made fun of ppl who watch youtube in the genocide route just before the sans fight.
@@Lunarcreeper Yeah, when I played Genocide myself, I got to that line of dialogue and I thought "This would be perfect if PewDiePie played it. You didn't just break the 4th wall, you also broke the ceiling."
I watched PewDiePie play Undertale Neutral and the extra TP things (but not replaying the full game, he got someone else to do it aside from the Undyne and Alphys stuff, so he could just play the TP ending) before playing it myself, but he never did Genocide.
So I bought the game for myself, played Pacifist (I think) and TP, thus getting the "deja vu" dialogue lines, and then I read about the existence of the Genocide Route on the wiki, learning Undyne had become "Undyne the Undying", Sans was a boss, and Mad Dummy had become "Glad Dummy", and maybe that Mettaton EX had become "Mettaton NEO" and was the "point of no return" for Genocide, so I only knew about the new bosses' existence and that I had to kill until an alert popped up, but nothing else.
And so my third run was Genocide, and seeing this Flowey line made me like "Man, why hasn't Pewds committed Genocide yet?" XD
That's what I love about Undertale, the unexpected breaks of the 4th wall, Toby having gone as far as to anticipate/know that people would do let's plays and call out the people watching it instead of playing. XD
I don't think any other video game has been SO meta to acknowledge the existence of the viewers??? Aside maybe from Deltarune Chapter 2, where Queen talks to "chat" if you deplete the HP of her chair, Toby again anticipating that people would be streaming the game with a chat, that was hilarious. XD
I normally don't do genocide-like runs either but this game is just noncanon enough for me to do it & yet certain moments were really uncomfortable.
Like seeing the wounds on the coil snake, having to walk over it afterward, & killing the moles who just wanted to play & bats who were just scared, only to see their corpses lying next to each other afterward.
It really sells that feeling that you just walked into a cave you don't belong in & murdered a bunch of helpless animals in their natural habitat.

*Merg:* "You're still gonna give me a cracked bat? Sans, are you crazy?"
*Sans in the text box:* "not really"

And well, not gonna lie, the way this game recreated Ness and Paula's heroic attitudes (as a result of both routes) is what convinced me of playing Earthbound for real. I just rescued Paula at the Happy Happy Village and it has been definitely worth it up until this point, genuinely recommended if you all can play at some point.
Undertale was like the only reason why I played Earthbound in the first place. Now I'm a MOTHER series die-hard as apparent in my pfp because the games were INCREDIBLY charming in a way. Made me appreciate Undertale and Deltarune even more in general because it led me to more fantastic stuff.
Brings me to say, I'm satisfied when a new-comer gets exposed to the MOTHER series.
I love earthbound... it's a classic and fun game... now ima commit mass genocide on wild animals so I can be very strong before the first starman... yeah... I have it on my switch aswell now and I'm doing that.
@@originalname1 Same here, I barely knew what Earthbound was until I played Undertale (Sad I know, but I didn't grow up with a SNES or any nintendo products really.) Earthbound has it's moments where it's kinda dark, but in a subtle way usually, but it's also really charming
"I don't wanna enrage Paula" *well that aged like fine wine*
5:23 fun fact, enemies, unlike Undertale, respawn infinitely, and run away after a while. It will also autoclear encounters if you can get an automatic win without using magic or any enemy turns.

33:14 Okay I love how they did PK fire and PK thunder in this fight
cause that's how the targeting works, thunder is just the enemy, and fire is a row
Genocide routes never fail to make you feel horrible, that’s why these games are so good.
I didn’t know whether you were gonna do this route, considering how dark it is, but I just want to say I’m glad you did, I really do enjoy seeing reactions from you, but I would have completely understood why you wouldn’t make a video on this!
I can't believe this game started because of a meme.
The dedication, wow. I'm impressed. Pretty high quality for a fangame, too.
[also, I see this is the start of Merg's villain arc. How dare you not proceed, Susie]
The Obliteration Route of this game is just soooo good in such a messed up way, I love it.
Over time, you can also see the character icons while in battle change and of course, so does Noelle's and Susie's mood. They begin to grow used to the killing and the gaining of more power. Susie's icon changes from concerned to shadowed and facing downwards, and Noelle's icon looks worried. And then in Ness and Paula's fight... All of their icons have their faces shadowed except for Kris, that is some disturbingly clever detail.
I just like how Kris is ordered Susie to cast a spell , and even despite that fact, Susie didn't do this sometimes , game takes TP
Honestly, this route makes me feel even more guilty than the original genocide route and weird route, because although genocide and weird route are both awful for different reasons, the genocide route still has the basic turn to dust thing (except for Undyne, Mettaton NEO, Sans, and Flowey) and the deaths in weird route are mostly implied, even though they clearly did occur… the obliteration route outright shows most of the enemies bleeding out as well as the fact that you are forced to kill two of the protagonists of Earthbound who are children! In general the devs of this fangame did just a fantastic job in making the player feel guilty about their actions, heck I even feel guilty just by watching!
Yeah, it feels more disturbing than Undertale's Genocide route or Deltarune Chapter 2's Snowgrave Route as you see Kris explicitly murder those Blue Cultists. Throwing DeltaTraveler a dark curve-ball when the original theme of "Your choices don't matter"
Monsters turn to dust
Easier to grapple with the consequences of your actions when they actively disintegrate into dust after you did it.
Except, Earthbound entities aren't monsters, at least in conventional Undertale rules. They're not made of magic, they can be destroyed, they can *_B L E E D_*

It's an easy fight really. I feel like it should be even harder. It's easy to dodge everything.
This game is amazing man! It's so detailed and well written. I'm super excited for section 3 as it looks like it will take place in the underfell universe. Great video merg!
I can't be the only person who's noticed this but Ness's battle sprite moves exactly like Sans. This had to be on purpose after the few references of the "Sans is Ness" meme in this chapter.
7:04 It's a normal snake, Earthbound doesn't contain monsters made of magical dust, it contains realistic animals that are being mind controlled by a terrible evil being... Now had you roughed it up a bit like in the original game it would snap back to it's senses and run off, though I'm not sure if that's an option here unless that draw blood thing means you went from defeating fleshy enemies earthbound style to actually killing them.
4:47 In Earthbound enemies run away from Ness when you complete an area regardless of how many enemies you defeated, if you somehow beat that area without fighting a single enemy they'd still run off, even though they can reduce you to a fine paste if you decide to go after them...
They're probably spooked by your mastermind level stealth skills and are starting to wonder if you're a ghost
10:19
We know Monsters still don't have blood in Deltarune. There's an NPC, specifically the counterpart of the snowdin innkeeper's child, who asks Kris if being made of blood hurts.
There's a lot of confusion since the idea that monster biology has been changed to such an extreme degree myth started by people taking one of Susie's lines as well as a scrapped sprite out of context, but it's outright confirmed that monsters are still primarily composed of magic rather than water. It's usually accompanied by the similar myth that Deltarune monsters can't do magic outside of the dark world(which this fangame, unfortunately, follows), which is one that hasn't been explicitly confirmed to be incorrect like the monster biology thing, but which is implied to be incorrect by all available evidence.
-Also the fight bar appearing at the top represents Paula using her pan to attack. Notably, the attack itself is also a reference to the burnt pan from undertale.-
we dont know if darkners have blood i think thats what he ment
I think Toriel talks about her fire powers to light up the gas in the real world
I don't think so, monsters doesn't have magic in deltarune, berdly corpse is in the library, and the reason why monsters cant handle determination in undertale it's because of their non fisical bodies and in deltarune they have determination
@@MatiasCirulli Monsters do, in fact, have magic in deltarune... in case you forgot, there's even a menu option dedicated to it.
Berdly's not actually dead... yet. All the available evidence suggests that he's in a state that monsters call "fallen down": a permanent coma preceeding death.
Monsters have determination in undertale as well, just nowhere near as much as humans. Undyne is a notable example: she has so much naturally that she is able to stop her body from turning to dust and quite literally pull herself together.
It's never stated how much determination is required to open a fountain, and it makes perfect sense that even what little determination monsters naturally have would be more than Darkners, beings that exist solely to "assist" Lightners.
I get that we all have our opinions until it's confirmed, but don't make it sound like it's a confirmed fact. It's all theories, nothing more.
I like the fact that even the person playing the game starts feeling less and less guilty the more they kill, because it slowly becomes something normal to the player's eyes

Still, I'm here for any earthbound related questions you all have, and keep on pumping out your amazing content merg!
39:08 Those attacks are being used here as nods to EarthBound moves - Shocker Breaker as Paula's PK Thunder, and Star Blazing as reference to PK Starstorm, which technically isn't a move used by Paula, and rather only by Poo in EarthBound and Kumatora in MOTHER 3 (the sequel to EarthBound - after all, EarthBound was released as MOTHER 2 in Japan (which is also the reason Section 2 of DeltaTraveler is called "Oh, Mother")), but it was still cool to see.

This was really cool to watch, and you're totally right about it being uncomfortable. The mod creators did a really great job making you feel like a monster, and kind of crossed the line even Toby didn't care to cross (Monster Kid). Hmm interesting. But sadly doesn't killing get numb especially after you've slaughtered everyone in Undertale. At this point only the execution points matter in that world.

i was wondering if you would come back to deltatraveler for this, i am very glad you did! it is indeed very well done, i will always praise the work and just pure dedication put into every bit of this fangame
also i did notice the little more editing for this video 👀 is that the new thing you mentioned you wanted to try in your community post? maybe it isn't, however if you're curious for feedback, i just gotta say that it doesn't make a huge change as long as you don't take out relevant parts of the gameplay, and it might keep the action going on a more consistent pace! i am a big fan for your normal video format and im very used to it by now, but i dont think it would break the essence if your channel if this becomes a regular editing style. regardless of that, if you wanna make more changes like this or implement new stuff in your vids i'd say go for it, i think we're all here just for the chill vibes and *genocide* :D

21:08 He was bad, but he was more of a villain than a genuinely bad person, meaning, he had standards, he'd let the children be raised in a loving kind environment while indoctrinated to the happy-happy blue-blue ways of the village, and so long as it makes them genuinely happy, it's not actually bad at all... so long as we turn a blind eye to the environmental damage the paint is causing. Heck, the people there were so trusting as to leave a shop unattended knowing that everyone else there would pay honestly for what they take from the shop. That village had something good going for it, all they needed was a safe, environmentally friendly way to paint this blue, maybe some kind of blueberry paste would work nicely.

Bro I saw this in my recommended and man the thumbnail looks really good!
where I feel like this differs from genocide and snowgrave.
Where Deltarune took the feeling of evil a step farther by having you manipulate noelle. This is gonna take the guilt farther by making you watch the friendship of the Fun Gang die, and much like in life, this will give true consequences to your distructive path. Beyond feeling bad that you killed X character, there might be more segments similar to the concusion segment that makes the run "suck harder." to a point where at times, an obliteration route might seem stupid to go through with.
Also, I feel like it might be NESisary to aPAULAgize, just to see what happens.
47:09 Well one thing's for sure, I'd be staying the heck away from melee damage range, and only have to be worried about avoiding any buster and ice type attacks.
Which isn't much better, but it's better than standing 2 feet away with a frying pan psychic damage and willpower and a random lil trinket you got from the mall as your only defense... Because only one of those is actual defense, and not that practical in life or death scenarios where plot armour isn't involved.
YESSS OMG IVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR YOU TO THIS FINNALY
I've been waiting for this. I'll enjoy it so much
Can we take a moment to appreciate how much work he puts into these videos
Great content once again Merg. I love how this is turning into a darker run than snowgrave and genocide route. The blood however seems a bit too far in my opinion (undertale sans doesn't count because we all know he has ketchup in his jacket). I can't wait to see the future chapters of this game. #CherryManMerg #RoadTo1MilSubs
HOLY COW YOU'RE BACK WITH THIS!!
this is the best undertale/deltarune fan game i've seen, the disturbing mood is horrible, making me actually concerned for where this is heading, but also looking forward to the cool encounters!
32:56 They both are main character humans so of course they have a similar attack interface, in fact the monochrome dialogue box originated from here, they're returning the favor.
I cant wait for chapter 3 of this game.its such a good game
For the unaware, the reason, *That* music is a megalovania song; is because megalovania itself doesn't originate from undertale. It originates from
Toby Fox's Earthbound Halloween hack that was made in 2008 when he was 17.
was waiting for this but it was worth the wait
It's not enough to just commit geno in Undertale, we've gotta eradicate the population of the game that inspired it too...
0:15 Ohoho the game knows. No hints to murderers!
0:54 Man these Sprout Mole- I mean Mobiles just can't catch a break huh? Good thing there's no Snowgrave Route... I think...
1:08 Oh never realized that the TP drains.
1:44 Ok good no proceeding.
2:23 Dang it gets a Tsundereplane death- watch out Susie!
3:18 Yeah that's how they work in Earthbound, kinda like the snot bubbles in Omori. They deal a ton of damage and can kill you after being defeated.
3:54 Susie gonna be cracked with that bat.
4:12 Haha, the game suggesting maaaybe don't go full genocide. >:) And yeah don't forget, the enemies respawn and you gotta kill em three times in this fangame.
4:42 Both good and bad-
4:50 And of course Noelle is the first to question things... proceed now?
6:00 Ah and now the game tells you when you've cleared an area... strong enough to draw blood...
6:12 Sans is _judging_ you dude. He doesn't really care, it isn't his world, but he'll judge.
6:55 RIP snek- congrats Merg you just murdered an animal.
7:08 It's DEAD Merg lmfao-
7:35 It'd just run yeah.
8:02 Nah she going straight for the locker slam-
8:14 Oh shi- Kris trying to tell them. Probably just gonna make Susie think Kris has some sadistic urges tho lol.
8:22 I guess it makes sense Noelle would act as a bit of a foil to Susie's anger... also why'd the screen blur for a frame?
8:38 Hmm so this takes place at least after Chapter 2... think that was already confirmed but whatever.
9:40 Going straight from killing an animal to murdering somebody-
10:18 There's the weird kid that asks if Kris is really made out of blood, and the graves have the monsters' favorite items buried with them like how it works in Undertale so I'd assume so.
10:28 Yup RIP Cultist-
10:33 Susie got that "Really man?" look.
10:45 Oh shi- charity girl? Knew her eyes being hidden had meaning!
11:07 Wait how does an Earthbound character know what LOVE is? They'd call it EXP wouldn't they- how does she know?
11:24 Merg predicting what's gonna happen right before it does lmao. RIP Konkussed Kris-
11:35 Poor Kris. :(
12:18 No it was a frying pan.
12:30 To be fair, I'd evacuate the area if someone just got knocked out there.
12:47 Lmao Doctor fight. And yeah, Kris gonna be weak now... getting stronger in reverse lol.
13:15 America.
13:20 Ah yes the biggest consequence of geno, Susie swearing.
13:33 Guess she still wants to get stronger uh oh.
13:46 Oof it's like a permanent status effect, damn Kris is even going into negative defense.
13:53 Susie and Noelle bruh moment.
14:02 Walla damage? Oh cool does Toriel inadvertently give hints in different areas?
14:08 Aw and she does react to Kris being injured, being able to tell they're not well. Kris just wants to talk to their mom. :(
14:22 Omg Merg you completely missed the dialogue the nurse gives about the healer being able to heal concussions.
15:26 Wow even the cultists flooded out, besides some guards.
15:43 Oh damn- RIP Kris can just randomly not be able to fight.
16:14 Nice and the other cultists get scared when you murder one. Killers indeed.~
16:32 And one of them talks about avenging their fallen friend here.
17:10 They never expect the double...?
17:22 No it's because you got stronger, increased in LV, so everyone's stats will go up.
17:57 Oh? Guess Paula would be more okay with going off on her own, after all there's no one here except us...
18:02 But she's still hurt. :( She's probably a bit nervous about us too, and has every right to be. Also Kris sitting back, yeah they probably need the rest.
18:14 Aw Susie helping Kris up.
18:30 Crap nevermind Porky's back.
18:43 Kris turning so we can't see them talk? Can't hear them anyways- but is Noelle implying that Kris said we're making them walk? That once we weren't controlling them in the cutscene they were too weak to stand?
18:55 Susie isn't even surprised at this point lol.
19:05 Ah so we just nab the lightning badge, and Paula's still nowhere to be seen...
19:46 Merg I think this means you should play Earthbound.
19:55 Don't the normal cultists have an attack just like that?
20:21 Damn man's absolutely shocked as we brutally murder him and he gives us a bomb in return lmao.
20:56 That's... got some horrible connotations.
21:28 Sans still just being on the sidelines haha... and yeah we've got a lot of targets on our back now.
22:10 Go protecc bunbun.
22:44 Hah- well we certainly are predators.
23:50 They're all dying :(
24:21 It just faceplants poor thing.
25:05 Ouch just a huge slam.
25:18 Kris is learning the power of LOVE...
26:15 Two bloody killers face off!
26:30 Oh ouch if he hits you at all with that attack you get chomped!
27:23 Of course a guardian would be used to a normal fight, he just is disappointed you're not Ness... and a difficult decision? What will that be?
28:06 Susie's learning the power of LOVE too...
28:15 Pft- Porky moment.
29:03 Oooh and the sanctuary heals the concussion! Hah and Kris just ripping off the bandage. Also interesting how the dialogue parodies the shadow crystals, with Kris seeing their old fake horns?
29:25 Proceed lol.
29:43 Ah- and referencing Chapter 2 as well.
29:53 PK... not sure what the second word was but oh crap the children angry.
30:04 Ok gotta survive some lightning.
30:11 Oh crap you're right Sans is about to give us a bad time.
30:18 Ah, and just like before the Berdly fight, Noelle's freaking out trying to not get these children killed-
30:35 Hah and Susie even referencing her dialogue right before, morons let them home!
30:41 ...Ok so he's protecting the multiverse now. Touché.
30:49 Yeah we're not exactly friends with her either Susie...
30:54 Yeeeaaaaah about that Susie.
31:19 Huh, wonder if it is possible to spare them?
31:48 siaudhiu Merg no-
31:55 Ah and Paula can heal.
31:58 Not sure what the blocks are referencing but the lightning's obvious- it'd be horrible if getting hit by the lightning was an instant KO.
32:17 Oh yo cool! Ness has an attack bar like us that targets the soul, and you've gotta use the few frames of inaccuracy to dodge it!
33:04 Playing with fire and baseballs!
33:37 Merg you have a DualHeal-
34:00 How do you describe this music as happy??
34:30 Yeah ok, she only heals.
34:46 Oh shiz, Ness getting nervous as he realizes he's low health-
35:17 Ah yes, color logic.
35:38 Oh god- it's like with Monster Kid except you actually kill him. And Paula has to watch. :(
35:46 And even so he knows you need to be stopped...
35:51 Omg and the game over sound from Earthbound no.
36:00 But it doesn't matter when you're strong enough to draw blood. And she's right you know, the world of Earthbound needs both of them to save it from Gigyas, and you've just doomed it.
36:17 Oh shiz she got the frying pan. And- oh my god it's the original Megalovania. Perfect for us...
36:15 Damn Paula ain't messing around with her first attack-and the intro waiting till the attack ends. Always wondered why people never used their strongest attack first huh? And they're all golden hits now-
36:29 IT'S TIME MERG! >:D
36:52 _Now_ he notices lol.
37:00 Oh I never realized Noelle and Susie's battle sprites are shadowed now.
37:10 Altertale Toriel?
38:14 I mean like half the Earthbound fandom ships them so.
38:15 Oo ping-pong fireballs. Also just realized that the frying pan and fire attacks are just like the Kindness Soul in Undertale.
38:44 Woah Paula stole Asriel's Shocker Breaker!
39:02 And Star Blazing! Though I think that attack was originally an Earthbound reference in the first place so really it's just come full circle.
39:26 "It feels so bad to enjoy genocide why you gotta make genocide so cool!?" - Merg, 2022
40:16 Oh damn- Susie's finally breaking away! After all she's the one party member that seems to be able to- might just be random like Kris not being able to attack when they had their concussion.
40:28 Merg you're literally making death threats to your own party member- I think he's just embracing the villain status at this point.
40:36 Ohp and now the attacks are combining.
40:45 Paula you literally are Sans! It was never Ness it was Paula!
41:06 "Cus Noelle is a good reindeer." - Merg, 2022.
42:12 Oh damn didn't even see we got Snowgrave power now.
42:16 Oh cool and Susie's poppup has gone from shadowed to angry- and yeah that signifies when she'll refuse to do anything.
42:48 And poor Paula's shaking now. :(
43:25 Omg Paula's sprite- she's so shocked but still crying, her tears still flowing but completely defeated.
43:43 But the Earth(bound) refused to die?
43:55 Oh god and it's just a waiting game for her to collapse-
43:59 Wait what? Why'd a crack appear there?
44:08 Not sure what the cracks were about but- there she goes. :(
44:14 Oh god- it's her soul shattering. Her own determination wasn't enough.
44:39 And their faces... Susie's is shadowed like in chapter 1, and Noelle's face is hidden like with the unused Snowgrave sprites.
44:48 Oof and Kris doesn't even say anything.
45:11 Yup, it's ours now...
45:15 Heh, get it, cus Paula's hands are clean. But also cus it's not burnt like the one in Undertale.
45:20 Huh, and naming the weapon type, same mechanics as in Undertale.
45:25 The power of LOVE...
45:45 Yeah Underfell's just gonna encourage killing-
46:02 Not really-
46:16 Filled with power...
47:04 Kris gang.
48:14 Hi again Sans.
48:20 Slowed down My Castle Town has a very similar vibe to genocide Snowy-
Damn this is long
U seriously spended 51 minutes without skipping a thing?
@@somerandomguy4216 sure?

The reason Paula's attacks are the same as Asriel's are because Toby Fox inspired Asriel's attacks from Paula's abilities in Earthbound.
wow. i spent a month on paula and he just... well it seems like no hitting all those bosses helped you! great video! (though i would definatly say this fangame knows how to make someone generaly disturbed.)
Nice video! Also, I think that the megalovania in paula's fight is a reference to when toby fox first created the music, because yes, megalovania ORIGINATED from earthbound as a rom hack.
