Is it possible to view timestamp and reader location from raspberry pi I have an antenna, fixed reader, how do I interface that with raspberry pi. What connector will I use.
can you please tell me the exact range of rfid reader you are using and also price of the reader? And is it compatible to the arduino too? I'm gonna use it in my final year project... so I need the exact information... please it would be so helpfull
Hello! I only ran the reader for one whole day inside a room and there was no instance of wrong ID reading. But I am not quite sure if its still the same, if it runs 24/7 under varying temperatures, etc.

I think you are wrong when you stated that UART is not communication protocol, it is communication protocol, but protocol itself can be implemented either by a hardware (as you said as an IC) or by a software.

As for the fundamental definition, I'll remain with the term's initial classification as hardware. As what the name suggests, it has a physical transmitter and receiver.
