We got PVE League before PVE Overwatch, and we didn't even have to get League of Legends 2 for it

This has the potential to be as good and addicting as Path of Champions in Legends of Runeterra. If they wanted, they definitely could make it a permanent game mode and monetize it in a non-predatory way (like getting cool permanent upgrades faster), because of how casual this is. Roguelikes can be like gold mines if they know how to invest in them.
True. Roguelike games like these are so good because it can be so braindead to play casually but can also offer so much paywally things
These games are usually buy to play, tho. It's very hard to monetize them without affecting the gameplay

@@dieptrieu6564 yep, normally they need to be bought to play, but League is free, so there must be a way to monetize it, even if it's just cosmetics, because the game can be played with many people.
I'm saying this because monetization is the key to get more content. More content means more videos about it, more videos means more players and more players means more money to make more content and the cycle continues
@@angelicoz That's the problem. Cosmetic doesn't make sense for this game mode because it still use the same cosmetic as normal league. Unlike TFT where you can have entirely separate cosmetic from normal lol

It was so clunky and slow though
I loved that one, going ap on the melee kallista mode went insane
It was fun but it was singleplayer only, next step for wild rift devs is to make it co-op (Like this one or maybe oddysey game mode?)
I played quite a few of these games and experience is the first upgrade you always want to max first
yeah it seems to be the way since you want to get evolved weapons as early as possible, and its much easier to get them here than vampire survivors since weapons have less levels and you dont need to wait for min 8ish to start rolling evolutions
nah exp sucks in this game, you have limited passive slots, so if you take 5 levels into exp you miss out on 5 levels into dmg or /w you wanne skip. and without exp you can get full build before the boss anyway.
2nd issue is that you dont always roll 5 times exp earlygame and you get forced random upgrades from what you already purchased from time to time, so it could be that when you're already lategame you are forced to take 10% bonus exp while you want more stats. maybe when you unlock 6th passive can be worth? but surely not at 4 slots
@@hodorba5567 They meant upgrades as in meta progression.
Max xp gain and gold gain first, prio whichever one is cheaper at the time.
One things to note for your runs as Zwag is seems to be "New" to the Genre:
1. You only need Passive level 1 to "Evolve" your weapon at level 5.
That's not new at all, that's how Vampire Survivors and many other ones always worked.

Oh btw Zwag, I've played this a lil already so here is smth you didn't mention in video
1. Yk how you can hold tab and see what you need to upgrade what from the top left? you can also just hover over the items in your hot bar and they'll say what they need to evolve
2. You can only evolve items from boss dropped cards
3. You don't need to max out passive to evolve the item, you need to get level 5 on the item and then kill a mini boss.
4. Also belveth trails on the map give a lot of xp when finished.
Keep it up with this series. Love to see all lvls and at least one on the hardest scenario.
I love it! I think a good change would be that some colors of abilities or whatever need a change. Noticed a few times in this video that your allies red circles were masking the red danger circles.

First survivor game like this I played was a custom map in Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne called SWAT. You also choose characters with different abilities, go around the map to complete objectives and survive from the horde of zombies.

It have enjoyed my time with it so far. It is funny that once I believe the first level on story difficulty I clean swept through the rest of easy diffculty levels solo. The only champ that I find hard solo is Jinx since she has no shields, sustain or consistent early AoE damage. The craxyiest run I jad was with Briar since I high rolled perfect weapon and augkent combos
I see these new game modes as ways for Riot to test certain things they want to try out in to future MMO. I'm sure we'll recognize little mechanics and such in the future.
will this replace arena or will we have the 2 mods at once ?

Just be careful because there is a bug where the game freezes completely at around the 13 minute mark on the third map and if you try to reconnect youll be stuck with a black window, been sitting in client for 30 minutes staring at a reconnect button
Hm, how strange, i also got disconnected on the 3rd map at about 13 minutes, lost ALL the gold as getting disconnected doesn't give you the gold you had when you got disconnected. Tho, my game didn't freeze and i never got a black window, just had to leave the game, rejoin and just make a new party(just to realise i still had ~300 gold and i wasted 13 minutes for nothing), i guess your case is worse.
It pauses the whole game when u select an upgrade? Does everyone upgrade at the same time?

With TAB You can see each Ability with what scale and what Augumets you should take on the given champ

if you play solo seraphine is the best because of the AOE base weapon and shield, but jinx is best for dpsing the bosses and on acoordianted team that can protect her, also jinx still have good AOE but is better to burst someone down
also if you want to evolve a weapon you need the weapon upgraded to lvl 5 and get the passive (upgrading the passive not necessary) for evolving it and the cards form defeating bosses, so its better (especially on solo) to save the boss card till you have the weapon lvld up and the passive

Briar is INSANELY good, destroyed all the bosses with her solo, the damage is huge. (And so is her heal)

I'm having trouble signing up for the pbe. I went to the riot web page and went to League of Legends. Then clicked the PBE tab at the top. It says to sign up for a pbe account. I click it. It then asks me to sign up or sign in. So I sign in. The It beings me back to the pbe page with nothing telling me it worked or not.
Went to the launcher and it still says my account isn't pbe so idk. I'm new to pc gaming tbh but lord this is so much hassle. Modding games was simpler.

Ok, ik that most people whove immediately gone to the comments to find others takes, please remember you have to install vanguard, which even if it wasnt coded by riot, is a kernel level system.
As someone who has an obsession with these games and have issues not playing them, id rather it not be on the league launcher and have it be seperate game entirely with how this is structured. It looks leage cause of the assets, but its straight up a different game and its weird to have it on the same launcher at the absolute least
