I noticed that right away. Actually all the pieces should have been spun around so the t-nuts are drawn into the wood and so that all holes line up. Eventually the easel will loosen and start to wobble.

the bottom cross piece should have been turned around, the way the drive in T-nuts can pull out from the way you are putting in the bolts.

The assembling for the horizontal bars is wrong. The horizontal bars should be rotated and changed to the other side to make set screw and the fastener on the bars to be tightened as strong as possible.
the white man make it the electric drill......your tutorial 13.34...you can do it in 2"
