If mod tools come too console yes🎉
Read the comments, you probably spread misinformation(or most likely didn't explain it better) that CDPR are selling paid mods.
"the game is dead" ... it's a singleplayer game mate...
In an alternative timeline where CDPR didn't screw up royally with the launch, this video would be about Cyberpunk 2077's third expansion. I want that timeline!
Sadly I bet you in that time line the moment the third Expansion hits World War 3 starts off with a nuclear Bang😂
There is a scrapped 3rd DLC where you go to the moon.
New game+
how does this make sense? "oh we screwed up - lets try and fix it but cancel the additional promised content"
when cdpr launched 2.0 they just did their job. when they cancelled the promised dlcs (PL is still labeled as "ep1" in the files btw) they stopped doing their job. quite sad since we now can see that they actually could have delivered most of the promised content... :(
NEVER PREORDER CDPR GAMES AGAIN - AND DONT BUY DLCs which havent even launched yet!
@@MikeGrau0hr You should never pre-order any game it’s pointless. Unless you were 100% sure it’s going to be great. It’s obvious CDPR bit off more than they could chew with cyberpunk when they initially released it. They are working on multiple things, I could see why they didn’t want to do another expansion. It took them years to make cyberpunk the way it is today. I think this is why they abandoned the red engine. It’s just too many problems and takes way too much time. Cyberpunk went from a messy game to one of the most beautiful and memorable games I’ve ever ever played. I’ve never seen a studio redeem themselves much before after such a disaster. The only other game I can remember that perfected their game after disaster launch was no man’s sky. Not even Bethesda fixes their games to this level without tons of mods. CDPR made a huge mistake, but they did make one of the best and most memorable games I’ve ever played with cyberpunk. I just hope CDPR doesn’t ruin their new games with woke, watered down, politically correct, sanitized violence and toned down propaganda game as I’ve been seeing in western games lately.
It all sounds like a $20 gimmick
You can try it free for 14 days. No card info required. If you do, let us know what you think.
@@embody7386 I'm not paying for something I can configure for free lol. Especially not $20.
@@embody7386 whats the difference between Surround Sound and Immerse?
@@embody7386 Why do people insist in defending muIti biIIion doIIar corporations? They aren't your friends.
@@Nethan10Troitry it out and you'll find out. Also the video has details....
$20 for that is insane. Shouldn't cost that much.
Shattered space is going to be half of Skyrim sized for the same price, and shadow of the erd tree is 40 for a whole new game worth of content.
20 is a scam.
If this were a standalone experience I could understand it being $20 but really this seems like it's worth $10 at most
Apparently, CDPR got jealous of Bethesda and decided not to fall behind.
CDPR have nothing to be jealous about. Bethesda is garbage.
Honestly recently their doing better
@@wakkosworld3863 console boy mad
I’m gonna hope this comment is satire bc I can’t even fathom a person with this opinion
That's like saying CDPR sold a $20 DLC back when CP77 launched because the game launched with DTS Headphones X support and DTS also costs around $20. This Immerse software is from a whole other company, just in collaboration with CDPR. Immerse did it with Final Fantasy too. It's just a software that is basically like Dolby Atmos or DTS Headphone X, and both of them are also paid. It's not even listed in Cyberpunk 2077's Steam page as one of its DLCs.
20 dollars for sounds is wild
I absolutely love CP2077, but this is pure insanity. What were they snorting?
It's just immersion enhancement. Not everyone is gonna buy it. Even Juicehead doesn't really see much of a difference. Only in certain situations
@@heroicxidiot it should be a free thing
@@POW3R_2003 free for who exactly? Are you going to be using it the entire time you play cp2077? I wouldn't use this even if it was free.
@@heroicxidiotshut up weeb
Hopefully CDPR hasn't completely lost their senses in light of Bethesda's absurd mod prices. Just to remind everyone, The Witcher's 3 "Hearts of Stone" expansion was $9.99 at release.
That being said, this mod is minimal and very much optional. I don't see myself paying $20 for a change in audio, but to each their own. I do however see this as CDPR dipping their pinky toe into Bethesda-levels of mod integration.
CDPR has nothing to do with the pricetag cause not they are selling it
Like Juice said, this wasn't done by CDPR. It was another company and CDPR is just helping advertising it. They don't control the price.
Embody is the one selling this "DLC" for the game.
They don't really advertise is well either because while this version is tailored to cyberpunk you can actually use it for pretty much any game on your pc. In fact you can even use it for video content. It's comes down to the individual videos sound mastering but it can have a noticeable effect. I was watching an episode of one piece where someone was about to be attacked from behind and it actually sounded like it was coming from behind me. So the better the games 3d sound implementation the better the effect but it works with normal stereo audio as well.
@@RyoTheTiger i guess youre missing info. i am mod author. i am not allowed to (nor would i want to) charge for my mods - because the game is property of cdpr.
Hopefully the next cyberpunk game has new game plus from the start
I understand their reasoning for not doing it, but I still don't agree with it. Even a barebones, illogical NG+ option is better than no option at all.
Games like this don’t need a new game and plus and don’t really work with it your supposed to make a new character on a new save and try some thing new having new game plus is pointless plus no fun because you would be overpowered form the start and then what challenge would there be none

@@aaronvasseur6559 not if they implemented it right

This sounds like something that would come after a VR update kinda weird to use head tracking to manipulate spatial sound when your character's stays static.
Head tracking is optional
$20 for a sound pack? No deal.
I use SteelSeries sonar and it gives me pretty solid surround sound for free
works with any headset too 🤣
What? $20 for a sound DLC!!! It's an outrage I tell you. Oh, wait, we aren't talking about Bethesda. Never mind. It's fine.
Do you remember resident evil 2 remake? Lol
It sounds the same to me. I will pass on it.
Cry me a river, this is NOT the same thing. This game isn’t in dire need of a content and this is obvs not any significant content locked away. You also can just use the free trial??? Bethesda has been super anti consumer for years and created one of the biggest disappointments in gaming in awhile
@@qwertyisaboss CP2077 has been out 4 years now and has had how many major updates now? Starfield has been out for 9 months and the first DLC is due in September. And did you forget about the reception at launch for CP2077? It was considered a disaster. Starfield was a disapointment (didn't live up to the hype) and CP2077 was a complete disaster. Bethesda haters gonna hate no matter what they do but they always give a pass to other companies.
@obiwankenny1966 the amount of cope and mental gymnastics is insane here, go outside
really sucks we never got the moon dlc have you seen the leaks
They should just publish those files for the community IMO, but thats NEVER gonna happen
Aslong as it Panams full moon. 😂
he said at the end of the vid he did see em but won’t be covering them as it seems wrong that the info was leaked by hackers blackmailing cdpr i think
@@xentionXThey’re going to reuse them in Orion. No point.
Pretty sure that was found to be a cut part of Phantom Liberty
6:15 the way that mech ran around the corner 😂. I would’ve flinched so hard
That is the scariest part of cp2077 and the only reason is because that thing insta-kills you no matter what, there's no minmaxing your build or cheesing it (unless hiding behind a pillar as the robot moves like it's a 90's cartoon can be called cheese)
12:39 me in creative mode when my bro says "come see what I built"
the first time i saw this video title i was like.. great they are charging for sound updates now, but after watching this video it seems more like this is more of a software purchase vs just a simple sound update. we havent reached "that point" yet
I don't get it. The Luke Ross VR mod already does this.
The head turning feature sounds like something you'd need if you had like Ultra ultra ultra wide screen
Like spin around in the swivel chair screen
Or for people with really bad ADHD.
"Yo, game's over here."
@@alexpkeaton4471 Pffftt, that one got me personally
nah at 3:00 there was a huge difference in audio quality I also produce music and went to college to be a sound engineer its a good addition
or the VR injection mod
Dolby Atmos does the exact same thing, allowing you to set up 7.1 surround sound for your headphones, and it works for all games, movies etc.
I'm just interested in official FSR 3.0 and that the update won't break mods.
brudda ANY update will break mods. That's cause most core dependencies are based on the specific .exe version which obviously changes EVERY update. That's just a fact of modding for this game. Not CDPR's fault
@@tristanstebbens1358 bs :) its not about the exe, nobody cares. its about them unnecessarily changing references.
I had a hard time believing a $40 DLC for Elden Ring but $20 for a Sound upgrade is completely insane, this needs to STOP. Please people do not buy this , send a message that is the only way to stop this.
Is this even for consoles? This is kinda lame tbh
Tbf, Elden Ring DLC is practically a full game
If you don't want to pay 20$ fine but don't tell me what to do lil bro
cdpr isnt controlling the price, it isnt their product
So 20 Eddies for some sound files? Nah choom.
nope. no sound files included.^^ its 20 bucks to hear the original vanilla sfx slightly differently.
Why couldn't project red just do what they did for the Witcher 3 and just have 3 banger dlcs that added everything including the kitchen sink instead we got 1 banger and sum guys mix cd of background nose.
Console players: am I a joke to you. Cyberpunk on PC gets special treatment while we on console have vanilla
two things: first of all its a scam by cdpr ofc and i feel you as a fellow consumer.
second: dont wait for the world around you to change - make changes yourself to compensate for the scamming going on around you. build a cheap pc and be more free.
ps: and ofc then dont buy payed mods - go for the +10.000 free mods :)
Nah fam just build a pc and get the game + dlc from the Bay, if you already paid its not wrong, if you didn't tbh I think its better, this game doesn't deserve to ask for 20 usd gimmicks
You know what this pisses me off so much because it's like they had fell down and you know what they realized they hit rock bottom and then they said no more enough.
And they picked himself up other boot straps and they got to work and they did the hard work.
And then it was like they got complacent and got lazy.
I'm so disappointed in them if they would have released no more DLC this could have been one of those come back stories those underdog stories about how a game company had the ambition for something amazing and then they failed and then they took a good long look at themselves in the mirror and then they get the hard work and they made a comeback.
For real they could have kept their dignity.
Look if there's enough content I think a 20.00 DLC would be fair but there's not enough to justify this this is clearly a cash grab and I just feel sad that they got into that temptation they gave in
Am I wrong? I though mod support was talked about already being worked on. Did they change it to a maybe not getting added?
I noticed that at the end credits of Cyberpunk, there is a section for peope who worked on multiplayer but the game has none.
Because it was canceled
I'm still waiting for the fsr3 update 😢
Nvidia says not yet.
can we start a campaign to get CD project red to make the moon DLC or casino heist ?
Keep in mind, they want a face scan.
I still have no idea what 20 bucks for sound does😂
where can i buy this in GOG? Cant find it.
this coupled with official vr game version would rock
after testing it for a bit i still prefer vanilla
It's way better than vanilla but it's not even close to worth any money at all really
@@tia8580Yeah it should be free or 5€ at best
I prefer vanilla as well after a couple hours' testing. Will test some more, but to me, the sound with the pack sounds a little flat, actually. It seems to want to bring out certain sounds more but pushes others to the background. Like, ambience all around me seemed less noticeable to me, which felt less immersive. Didn't like the way voices in dialogue sound now either. I guess this is highly subjective, but I always liked the vanilla sound and felt it immersed me in the game plenty.
@@123Suffering456 it adds way better spacial audio, in combat you can really hear where things are coming from and create a mental image in your head, like in overwatch
if you're not playing with headphones or prefer it to be mixed more cinematically/movie-like it definitely feels worse
I have a 7.1 setup. What does it add for me?
Don't Hear a Thing 🎉 Yeah! It does nothing
I can barely notice any difference so probably not for me. Is this even worth it without a headset? I might need a open back headset any recommendations?
beyerdynamics dt990; from their outlet - dont buy full price for the same quality.
Think this is a sneak peek of what the Project Orion audio system will be like.
Totally forgot this is CDPR hopefully we get some butterfly effect between games like The Witcher games. Ex. If you decided to kill an important figure in the previous game that you could spare then they wouldn't show up in the next game and vice versa.
I have a massive curved monitor and I find myself often swiveling my head a bit looking far left or right. This head tracking feature might be good.
WHERE IS THE CRYSTAL PALACE!!!
CDPR told BGS "Hold my beer".
I never used headsets for gaming unless it's multiplayer.
if with recompression because its a youtube playback I still wasn't sold on the sound " DLC".
This is some EA & Bethesda DLCing over here.
I never thought the sound in 2077 wasn’t Immersive enough though lol
I totally agree with your take on what was said about official mod tools coming to the community and that is great news!
That audio update might be cool to try with the vr mod
I always thought if something like this would happen someday
can't wait to try this with the vr mod
did they fix the bug where you can't get into the DLC yet?
Pfff I can get this on my PS5 and my 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos setup 😆, no $20 upgrade needed
Dolby Access makes cyberpunk sound better. From pint pointing my enemies, hearing where the shots come from, if a car is driving next to or behind and it just cost 15 dollars, and if I’m not wrong cyberpunk and Dolby access made a collab that makes Dolby access sound better on cyberpunk. The advantage of Dolby access is that you can use it on all the games you and it comes with different presets like game mode, movie mode and music mode. In my opinion all of them sound great, so if you want to give it a try there’s a week free trial so you can test it.
Xbox Series X, is this new update available or just PC?
What I got from this video is it's just basically HRTF. Which is free in games like Valorant and other competitive FPS.
Just imagine if we could mod Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles like Fallout 4 ...
Can’t wait to try this in VR if it works my gawd
Sounds and sound design are super important for any game. I would rather a game have incredible sounds over graphics any day. And while I don't think I'll be picking up this sound pack, I'm happy that this exists and attention is being put in that direction.
God I remember finishing this game for the first time years ago. It was so memorable. I couldn’t stop thinking about of weeks after.
I would pay double for the soundpack if it can integrate with other games I own and make them sound better too.
Sounds like it'd be perfect for VR.
I do somewhat hope with phantom liberties success they might come back during the lull period to do the moon expansion but that’s mostly just me hoping
I think this new update is stepping stone towards Cybyerpunk VR as this upgrade will be amazing with that.
I hope Cyberpunk gets a second DLC, it totally deserves it, and I think many fans would buy it instantly
Firstly, 20$ for SOUND is just a ripoff
Secondly, who tf would need head tracking? If you're not sitting 10 inches away from a 40' tv, you should be able to look everywhere on your screen without turning your head ever so slightly
Still waiting to fix the Crystaldome bug for the Rayfield Aerondight and Caliburn.
Why is there no mod capability with 2077 and Witche 3 on console?
Oh man I need multiplayer cyberpunk roleplay servers.
Head tracking for surround sound? If I'm playing a video game, isn't my head facing...forward?
Wow! You hear that?... Listen close.. it's the sound of 20 dollars leaving your bank account for no reason.
CD project Red really fixed this game up to be what it was supposed to be at launch but one thing they never fixed was the sound from the radio it comes out way to quiet all the other sound's drown it out you can barely hear the radio.
It would be nice if u wouod mention whether these things are also available on console or just pc
I don't know I feel like he mentioned enough things that disqualify consoles to where it doesn't need to be explicitly pointed out. Maybe in the title though or like the thumbnail
For PC only?
New game + :( r.i.p Hopefully not fully but still dang..
I'm guessing this is only for PC?
sounds like a great mod for VR.
Listen at 3:05 ....
When you get in the car, and close the door, the sound is in the middle / right of you.
Why?
Your head is already in the car when you close the door, and you're closing it on your left side. So the "klonk" from closing the door should (obviously) be on your left ear, but isn't.
Those are details i'd expect to be perfect for anything you have to pay for - especially at 20$.
I don't get it; that would have been one of the most obvious things imo.
Wow, a 20$ feature that should have been in the game in the first place! Thanks, CDProject Red!
It's weird to see people still using alert notices (sound).
I would like some of the bugs to be fixed. Like the arcade game where you only shoot up
I've always liked HRTF for stealth games, but I've never used Embody, and I'm not sure I want to.
I don't get paid for it but I highly, highly recommend Displate. I got myself 4 Cyberpunk, 3 Star Wars and my fav green dude HULK on my walls. Such a game changer to have wall art stick with magnets. Easy to switch and adjust, no holes in the walls if you're renting. The sticker is pretty hefty so wallpaper might need fixing after.
Just hopped back to Cyberpunk myself and started my Phantom Liberty quests. Game has come a long, long way from launch catastrophy. It's still lacking that interaction I and some others expected, like in GTA, but it's such an incredible city it's well worth the watch.
If they're really going to Unreal 5 with the sequel... It might be the new Crysis test. Hope they get it feature complete from day 1.
I hope that they won't make more updates. That way my mods won't be broken anymore.
On great, 20 bucks for a basic feature in RUST. This is why I only have 150 hours on Cyberpunk but over 5000 hours in RUST.
Lets hope this mod tool will come to Cyberpunk, otherwise it would be such a lost opportunity for the Modding Community!
Does it work for ps5?
This sound update sounds great if the game had vr
dang 20$ is steep for an audio update
6:15 I've never seen this encounter before is this in the dogtown dlc?
I think it happens if you fail your spy mission and u get that machine running after you
All they gotta do is add new game plus
I feel like it still needs some updates. Judy won't call me anymore, and I need that Mox shotgun. 😖
Oh i prob should put on my headphones for this but their charging
Maybe they're priming Cyberpunk for a VR version
This is the same thing Dolby Access gives me... with everything. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So I already felt like this was happening without this DLC.
Lol wait so this is their first micro transaction mod basically
Kinda curious on the moon leak because I really wanted to see that DLC, but with how they got it 😬
2:05 you turned your head the wrong way haha
Fans : we want another dlc
Developers: heres some surround sound on crack for 20😂
Aaron Paul for live action V. Casting my vote now
HRTF with head tracking is, imho, only really useful for VR or simulators. If CDPR does include VR with Orion, which let's face it - is almost trivial to do inside of UE5 (although level design, models and textures do need extra consideration), then this would be a pretty mandatory feature for immersion.
