I love this. playing it in high school was a blast, and it is one of my favorite pieces of all time . We played it in concert band my sophmore year of high school... working with Bruce Yurko was awesome too. gotta love the mustache. thumbs up if you went to BORO!
I'm such a nerd, that i looked it up, hoping to see if our less than ideal trumpets were getting their part right, (they weren't) and ended up enjoying it very much.... What? i'm not a 'hard worker' so this was a tad challenging musically for me.... but yeah i'm a nerd >.< :]
The section with the clarinets at about 4:52. That is by far my favorite part, I love how dark and mysterious it sounds.
