The average number of typhoons they have in a year is 13 typhoons, maximum of 18-20. Filipinos are just normally humorous. Instead of being scared, they turn the situation into a funny one. That’s just it. Don’t be freaking judgmental, know the culture first. 😂😂
When I was in the Philippines to visit my stepmom’s relatives in Batangas, it was raining so hard and the wind was gusting. It sounded like a loud whistle. 😂 I was already getting scared but they told me to go outside with them and have a shower under the rain and it was so funny because when we stepped outside, there were a lot of people enjoying the rain. Even kids were playing outside. Then the people in the house next to ours were even singing in Karaoke. And I felt stupid for being scared. LOL.
