River Phoenix was so thoughtful and humble - he caught himself inadvertently plugging his own upcoming movies and switched back to praising the crew & cast on the present film that he just finished. Class act all the way! We miss you, River 😢
I know 😢❤ he was just too precious for the industry.
River was the greatest actor of his generation and a beautiful soul. Stand by Me, Mosquito Coast, Running on Empty and My Own Private Idaho are all brilliant performances.
@@jackriggan8585 That's amazing! ❤️
The best! OMG Mosquito Coast!
@originaltommy Absolutely! Great movie and performance.
Only "My Own Private Idaho" was good.
@@jackriggan8585what were they like? Also what did you talk about?
He was too magical for this plane.
This 💯
How can someone be so young yet so intellectual. He’s captivating and truly not of this world
Gone too soon, he had so much potential. He'll always be missed. RIP
are going to reopen the case about the death of river phoenix
How can you not love River. Earth Angel.
Its Rivers 53rd b-day 🍰 🎉 we love and miss him.
I had the biggest crush ever. And hes so different in his thinking, so interesting
I miss this dude so much 💔
I'm sorry about what happened to him, may he rest in peace. A smart sounding person in this interview- I thought- the world has missed out of better films.
His performance in My Own Private Idaho is ridiculously good.
He's wearing the band XTC shirt! Love him ❤️
honey a new river phoenix interview dropped!
Please keep sharing more interviews of River ❤ he's one of my favorite artists ever!
RIVER FOREVER 🌸
such a beautiful soul.
Been missing him much lately probably bcs it’s his birthday month. Love and peace wherever you are River Jude Phoenix.
He was a tortured soul…and so talented…he bore the weight on his shoulders
he is a special actor
hes so fucking real i love him
I'm not good on English i don't understand all things he say, i just open this because i like to hear his voice.
Que homem mais lindo beleza rara parece um anjo River com certeza foi uns dos homens mais lindos que já pisou nesse planeta ❤
My forever favorite artist ❤❤❤
Very sad he passed dude. I was always in love with Juaquin Phoenix as a kid after Walk The Line came out. My grandpa told me Juaquin’s brother actually died irl while watching Walk The Line, but he never told me why. Knowing his brother passed makes the scene in the movie where he’s watching his brother die a lot harder to watch knowing the real Juaquin did damn near the same thing. Rest in peace River
please upload other interviews of river
What a handsome man, he could’ve been saved, he would’ve done so well and fit in today.
Could have definitely seen him play Jack in Titanic… but Leo did a great job too
That film was vile garbage.
Never thought of that but ABSOLUTLEY!
@@MissPolice1 It's a racist film.
@@MarkHarrison733 riiiight.🙄
@@MissPolice1 Just the usual Anglophobic Hollywood garbage.
You made my day
River had a special thing about him. He was a regular guy also. Humble and different.
This may be my favorite interview of his ever
I feel like talents like him and curt cobain would hate what the world is now. They're too deep thinkers for this internet superficial world
yes they are quite similar, and equally unique who made their own mark in our world
I see why Keanu and phoenix had a great brother connection two of the same kind so meek
I love you so much my river Phoenix ❤❤❤💕💕💕
Before social media when people actually read books
1:58 🕊🕊🕊🕊💗💗💗
He is perfect as daniel molloy if he hadnt passed too soon 😢
🥰😘😍
❤
Clint’s Pops ❤
Very normal/healthy behavior here and then River got messed up about a year later after the making of My Own Private Idaho.
Yes, it was so sad to see the changes in his physical appearance and his demeanour 💔
No, there were issues brewing - else he wouldn’t have needed drugs to escape.
I wanna turn back time to save him. Brandon lee. Heath ledger. 😦😦😦😦😦
I need that t-shirt
Could have played Kurt Cobain if he lived n didn't die before Kurt himself.
Squall Leonhart
beautiful 😍 but I find it a little strange! sometimes he escapes the gaze and looks elsewhere.
1990? after 3 years I would have been born. 🤦
3:38: I am genuinely confused. He said here that he was already included in Gus van Sant´s "My own private Idaho", and that he was about to film "Dogfight". In the latter, his hair was very short. In this video, his hair has a medium length, and there´s a famous portrait of his (taken by van Sant himself) where he is wearing an open flannel shirt with a t-shirt under, staring at the camera with his hair way longer than in this video, covering half his face actually. As I understand, van Sant wanted to take that picture before River cut his hair for "My own private Idaho".
His hair here is noticeably shorter than his hair in "Love you to death". Did he just cut it down even more shortly after this interview to film "Dogfight" and then let it grow again to cut it just before filimin "My own private Idaho"? Everything in 1991?!
Anyway, great hair.
That's what I am thinking?! Idk. His beautiful hair must've grown super fast lol
He's always had fast growing hair. Look at when he was in Stand By Me and Mosquito Coast. His hair was really short in the movie(s). But whenever they did behind the scenes interviews or talk show interviews with him his hair was long again.
Andromeda shhhhiiiiiiit ❤
Meteu-le um XTC na camisa? É isso mesmo?
He does not come over as an "innocent." Chain smokers voice, he told interviewers not to say he smoked because he was supposed to be clean living. He often seems to be testing the interviewer "Will you buy this? Or be shocked!" He has been called hypocrite for not living a 'clean' life but wasnt the deal he made with that mother of his that he would spout HER beliefs, "be a missionary", use his fame as a platform, but they were never actually HIS beliefs. He often covered his mouth in interviews. Classic body language = not being honest. Fans wanted him to be the kid in 'Running on Empty'. Even his brother refutes the sex abuse story as River/Jude just wanting to shock. His death exposed him. Lousy choice of 'friends' - Johnny No Depth. The dark 90s started with his death.
Kurt Cobain
Leo Di Caprio
Andromedan ❤
I’m on the drug that killed river phoenix.
Are you really? And why is that?
Don't waste your life.
My boyfriend left heroin so u also can
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔Ok, good luck w that.
River was given a speedball lethal enough to kill 2 elephants. And because he drank it his body absorbed it slowly, and he thought he was okay. And that fool flea told people not to get a doctor. So don’t romanticize it. He was killed with a poisonous drink from his rivals.
Over hyped. Is he completely sober here? Dude seems immature and rambles too much.
Why do you care?
