Square= Melee.
Trianlge= Gun.
Circle= Style.
X= Jump.
R1= Lock-on.
R2= Melee weapon change.
L1= Devil trigger.
L2= Gun weapon change.
Up=Trickster.
Right= Swordmaster.
Down= Royalguard.
Left= Gunslinger.
L3= Target change.
The fact you put stuff to read on screen makes you kinda relatable and make me think you're human, but then you start playing and you're a freaking machine. Insane display of skill, I can't help but be amazed. Wow

Also did you killed a DT Nightmare's core with a flower throw???? That so badass!
Before he used Dance Macabre. That is a move that does a lot of damage, but can't kill exept for with the last hit. Same goes for million stab for example. So if you use one of those two on an enemy but instead of doing the final hit throw the rose (either taunt midair or lock on taunt while in s rank) it should be a guaranteed kill

It isn't all that useful, but it can help you ooze out the most amount of style points from an enemy as possible before you kill it if you're going for effeciency, and it can also just let you use a finisher of your choice since basically whatever can kill your enemy from then on. My favourites tend to be both gun stinger and backslide from Koyote A.
Also I am pretty sure that back and swordmaster move from King Cerberus doesn't kill until it's final hit either

I forgot to say, ending of this mission is delicious. It's like a cherry on a cake after brillant walkthrou.
I can see how it was: you deal damage, then jump and taunt... but nightmare still living...
Then you thought: "ok, plan B", and you make HELM BREAKER... Nightmare still living...
And finally you use an almost brilliant strategy - make a DANCE MACABRE for deal great damage, but leaving 1HP by not completing the combination to the end.
And only then you use SSS taunt by throw rose into enemy for killing him...
This gave us the perfect ending to a beautiful walkthrough and many positive emotions for all of us, i am shure. Much more than if you simply used a taunt in a jump.
But what surprises me is the speed of decision making. How fast did you realize to use DANCE MACABRE in this situation.
It's incredible.
oh my god I wish I had seen these videos before I got S rank on this mission.. I did not use even 1/3 of the tricks you used here and it would have made my life incredibly easier holy crap....

Okay, okay, that finisher on Nightmare was so, so cheeky, man. I honestly couldn't stop wheezing and also stare at the screen after witnessing such... humiliation, really. Goddamn, V, you better kiss Gladiator's feet after that XD. Amazing and super satisfying gameplay to watch, man, and to think there are only two more missions left... I know for sure you will bring us a great show of skill on those last boss fights, man :)

Awesome skills man. I’d just say that instead of doing the fastest possible inputs and the most varied inputs, try to make it look more stylish. Letting animations play out instead of cancelling to get to the next one every time might make for a cooler effect. Just my opinion

Usually after few seconds of him showing on your screen. So the trick is to try and move the camera away every time you see him on your screen.

Thanks! It's not just a color change. This is actually an extra weapon you can purchase from the online store (yep with real money)
It has one additional move that the normal cavaliere doesn't have.

I beat this on hell or hell using Dr flash and at the end I got luck and griffon got suck behind nightmare and kill them and I no-hit it and got the s-ranking.

Just one try to get no damage bonus and S rank playing vergil, but like 1 million times with dante and still an A rank
Only difficult part for me is perfecting royal guard.
How do you cancel out of SDT like that after attacks while conserving it?
First you unlock it from the skill list if i remember correctly. It's called Quadruple S.
Once you reach SSS in combat you can transform for few seconds without consuming your SDT gauge. Enouph to perform certain quick attacks then you can turn it off. You need to maintain SSS in order to do this.
How long did it take you to complete this mission without taking damage?
Pretty sure i mentioned it in the video, lemme read 🤔
Yep. 4 or 5 sessions in different days. I think my gameplay sessions vary depending on the time i play. Usually between 2 to 4 hours per session. I spent many hours at first making strategies and testing them until this final strategy you see here.
@@XLHGladiator In the boss fight of this mission, I first used the sin devil trigger to quickly finish off the griffon and shadow, and then when the nightmare came, I quickly used the hat to launch meteors that would take the lives of the nightmare, and guess what? I managed to complete the mission without damage with rank s.
