Planning to go back in 2019 to try out the new Xavage park. Did you go to the amazing Sunday Brunch at the chapel? If you love seafood, this was the best! King Crab legs, sashimi, oysters and the best desserts!
No the hotel is not in a park ... Tbe parks are near by... They have buses that take u back in forth all the food and drinks at the parks are included ... The people were very kind... And we met ppl from all around the world!
I went to Xcaret park last month I had an absolute blast! And it was just the park! I'm going next summer for my honey moon I'm soooo stoked!!!! The hotel is gorgeous, all inclusive, AND access to all the parks and Xcaret trips!!! 🤯

Been there twice recommended for anyone togo really worth the money and all the parks part of xcaret group is all inclusive !!! Recommend minimum 4nights plus stay if not wont be able to fully experience it

That is a fair point. We have had some questions about the beach. Hopefully next time we can take some photos. The reality is not body hardly has time to go since there is so much to do at the resort and the inland beach is so nice. The beach is good for walking around on and there is a swimming area if people want.

The spa is extra, special activities at the parks like swimming with dolphins, an add on restaurant, but really there is so much to see and do and included that you don't have to add anything if you don't want to.

A lot of people said there's not a lot of great Beach area is that true? How much do you think of the beaches covered in Rock? Can you snorkel in the ocean?
There is some good area and some areas that are nice just to walk and take in the peacefulness. It is not the best beach of a resort in the Riviera Maya. For snorkeling you have free access with this hotel to Xcaret Park ans Xel Ha Park both that have really great snorkeling. So it is more the whole package of this hotel that makes it great.
This is an all inclusive hotel. There are numerous restaurants you can go to as well as bars that are all included. There is not need to carry cash with you. We have to say that the food and drinks here are very good. We have been to many all inclusive hotels and the idea is just to feed the people. Here at Hotel Xcaret Mexico the food is gourmet and if they were in a city, they would be some of the better restaurants.

There's not a lot that is specifically kid themed but with all of the activities there and all of the theme parks being included, the kids won't be bored.
Normally in the Riviera Maya there are not large waves. They are only medium size when it is windy. Some of the beach here at Hotel Xcaret Mexico is rocky but there are open places that are just sand and good for swimming. Not a lot of people go to the beach since there is so much to do at the hotel. You can find yourself there with just a few people. The inland beach has chairs and is very comfortable as well.

We would not recommend staying here for a short stay like 4 days. There is so much to see and do. A week or longer is good if you can go for that long. The parks for free are a perk but we have to say that the overall package is pretty good considering the quality of food and drink plus the hotel property. If the room is the main thing you look for and want a big room, there are some resorts that have just that. Some of the older resorts are going to have to lower prices to capture people because the level of resorts in the Riviera Maya is going up.
A big room isn't everything. The room was beautiful and a perfect size. The top shelf booze and unbelievable food sets it above the others. It's worth the price. Cheap is cheap for a reason
Good Channel you can actually do xenses is the first stop and xplor in a day (that's what I did) , xplor fuego same thing but is at night, and xcaret park you need a whole day, these parks are within the area, all other like xel-ha, xoximilco, xichen etc. does you must reserve a day before due to capacity of vehicle and distance.

The Xcaret Mexico Hotel is outside the park. It is nearby on a property. You can take a short bus ride from the lobby or the boat to the park. The hotel is amazing and is in it's own world. It is a guaranteed great vacation!
a bus will take you call La Pelona every 20 minutes will depart from the hotel, first will be xenses then, xcaret and xplor the other parks you will need to reserve them... it fun! is a must go place.
There is actually a very nice beach to go to. Often you can find a nice spot all to yourself. When it is more wavy you can visit the inland beach here at Hotel Xcaret México.
This is an all inclusive resort meaning all drinks and food are included. There are however a few extra special restaurants you can visit as an upgrade. The food is so good here, you don't really need anything else, but you do have that option. Mainly the Ha Restaurant is and added cost if you want to go there.
@@Afrias510 Well everything is included from transportation to and from the airport and your food and accommodation. Plus you get entrance to the parks. So really you can just bring tip money. There are optional things like photo packages, add on restaurants and souvenirs.
A minimum of 6 days because if you only stay a few days, you barely learn your way around the property and don't get to see everything. Plus with all the parks you can stay busy for more than a week.

Sorry to be negative but for a 12 minute video and such a big resort it seems you show very little of the resort and a lot of yourself saying the word "Amazing". If you look at prices for most all inclusive hotels they start around 300 dollars a night and go up from there. Number one, this resort is much better than most in the Riviera Maya or even other resort areas in the Caribbean. Number two, included in your stay is access to all of Xcarets parks. Normally tickets are about 100 dollars a person for the parks, so that is 200 dollars of extras included. Many people visit several of their seven parks in a week. Third the quality of food, rooms and activities is very high. We were impressed.
Yes it is. There are literally millions of people that fly into Cancun airport each year including this one, all destined to the resorts in the area. It is a safe area and with common sense you are most likely safer then most places people come from.

Yes. This is a new hotel and Xcaret does a good job making things accessible. The room Buildings have elevators. The parks are also accessible like Xcaret park and even Xel Ha has special ways to lower people into the water.

The best way to book is the link in our article. We will say it is not cheap. There is a reason it is priced the way it is. You have access to seven parks which can be $100 USD a person for entrance alone. The quality of the resort, food and beverage and rooms is much better then other resorts, so you get what you pay for. This is one of the more expensive resorts but you get what you pay for. There are cheap resorts in the Riviera Maya for sure. The quality of the food, drink, rooms and amenities will not be the same. A big factor now is when there is seaweed some resorts look horrible. At Hotel Xcaret you have options of places to swim and some of the inland beaches never have seaweed. So these are some of the advantages of this resort. In general the resorts in the Riviera Maya are priced well but you do get what you pay for.
It is expensive but it is much better than most resorts and offers exceptional quality. You can travel in the Yucatan of Mexico and stay at beautiful houses and visit cenotes and eat at great restaurants with authentic food for very good prices. It just takes more research on your part and planning. Hotel Xcaret Mexico puts everything in one package and makes it a magical experience.

Yes, Xcaret does a good job mixing luxury, funky fun design and local flare. The hotel is like the park so you should really enjoy it.

There is even a little boat ride on the canal that goes through the area. Buses and boat rides are free. Nothing more than 15 minutes away

There is actually a very nice beach to go to. Often you can find a nice spot all to yourself. When it is more wavy you can visit the inland beach here at Hotel Xcaret México.
The beach is man made not a real ocean beach it is great for little kids we have stayed there twice very nice hotel

Yes there are parts of the beach that are swimable Not many people go

What duration do you recommend staying here for?
How many of you stayed here for a couple of days up or a week?
A minimum of 6 days because if you only stay a few days, you barely learn your way around the property and don't get to see everything. Plus with all the parks you can stay busy for more than a week.

You can get it for much cheaper then that. Like $650.
I just booked a 7 night stay for 2k CDN dollars including flight in the middle of spring break. The deals are out there, you just gotta look!

@@SFCISME No these properties are next to each other and the Occidental only has the name Xcaret. The Occidental is an older hotel and not much like the Xcaret Mexico Hotel.
Sorry to be negative but for a 12 minute video and such a big resort it seems you show very little of the resort and a lot of yourself saying the word "Amazing". If you were only in the video at the beginning and end it would be appreciated. I am not watching this to see you. Show me the resort and more sites on the resort (if it is so Amazing). TY for your efforts though.

why is one night for 600-800 dollars?
If you look at prices for most all inclusive hotels they start around 300 dollars a night and go up from there. Number one, this resort is much better than most in the Riviera Maya or even other resort areas in the Caribbean. Number two, included in your stay is access to all of Xcarets parks. Normally tickets are about 100 dollars a person for the parks, so that is 200 dollars of extras included. Many people visit several of their seven parks in a week. Third the quality of food, rooms and activities is very high. We were impressed.
Is it safe to travel there.
Yes it is. There are literally millions of people that fly into Cancun airport each year including this one, all destined to the resorts in the area. It is a safe area and with common sense you are most likely safer then most places people come from.
I looked at booking 5 nights hotel 6k off season no airfare, sorry but that’s outrageous, no deal u can do all of this in nature without breaking the bank

Yes. This is a new hotel and Xcaret does a good job making things accessible. The room
Buildings have elevators. The parks are also accessible like Xcaret park and even Xel Ha has special ways to lower people into the water.
It has elevators but I don't see how you can get to the beach at the ocean though.
There is a path just south of the infinity pool that goes to the beach area. Almost everything at the resort is accessible

@@superryo008 I was there 2 months after it opened. It's well hidden. I found it wandering around in a far corner. It goes underground and comes up in one of the hotel buildings

Prices change monthly and depend on the amount of people and nights. There are also multiple room categories so it is impossible to list all the prices. The best way to book is the link in our article. We will say it is not cheap. There is a reason it is priced the way it is. You have access to seven parks which can be $100 USD a person for entrance alone. The quality of the resort, food and beverage and rooms is much better then other resorts, so you get what you pay for. Many people look for the cheapest price for a room and look at a photo of a pool and book. We made this video to show you everything of what it is like. We were impressed with it.

Looks like a great place but the one big turn off.... not adult only. Kids ruin any trip down south.
You can stay in the adult only section of the hotel, we stayed there and the restaurant is the best in the adult only, every meal is excellent
James there is an adult only section aswell but remember that for these resorts their biggest income is mostly from families

Sounds expensive
This is one of the more expensive resorts but you get what you pay for. There are cheap resorts in the Riviera Maya for sure. The quality of the food, drink, rooms and amenities will not be the same. A big factor now is when there is seaweed some resorts look horrible. At Hotel Xcaret you have options of places to swim and some of the inland beaches never have seaweed. So these are some of the advantages of this resort. In general the resorts in the Riviera Maya are priced well but you do get what you pay for.

It is expensive but it is much better than most resorts and offers exceptional quality. You can travel in the Yucatan of Mexico and stay at beautiful houses and visit cenotes and eat at great restaurants with authentic food for very good prices. It just takes more research on your part and planning. Hotel Xcaret Mexico puts everything in one package and makes it a magical experience.

There are more upper end rooms at the hotel, however we did not have access to them, so we were only had the one we stayed in to show you. We hope to go back and get more details as the hotel is adding other parts and of course we would like to write about the brunch there as well.
