- Cold Water-Damien Rice ft. Melanie Mardesich(me) at The Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA on 4-23-2015. Here is the video my brother recorded of me singing with Damien. I'm expecting videos from others as well that I might post up if they're any different than this one. But Damien asks for the lights off so it goes dark and is just audio except for the beginning and end. I am proud to share this video with you all. I was so lucky to have this opportunity and to have such a supportive and kind audience. I've said it before, but it truly was a dream come true and the best moment of my life. Enjoy! -Melanie

You did a Great Job Melanie! Many of us who are in love with Damien's voice, lyrics---just about everything about him, honestly--and who sing right along with his music do realize the difficulty in actually pulling off sounding "in alignment" with respect to any of the songs that were balanced so delicately by he and Lisa's voice combination...as there truly is an amazing acoustic alchemy that so far I have yet to find an equal comparison..Kudos on your courage and thank you for posting because I really had wanted to be at this concert but couldn't. (Fortunately I did see him last year and was up on stage singing Volcano parts with many others.) You must still be glowing--and ESPECIALLY to get a compliment from Damien--Bravo!

experienced, but I'm glad you saw him last year. Are you talking about
his concert last year in SF at The Congregation Sherith Israel? I was
there too and also made it on stage to sing Volcano!
