I know there are many factors that cause that people don't get 'discovered' but when people who make 'good' music get no credit or recognition i tend to use the term underrated, just like so many others. - Having said that then yes.. Music is subjective, but so many fucking things play a role in giving a piece of music publicity and that's why music like: Nicki Minaj - Anaconda, Jennifer Lopez - Booty, Rich Homie Quan - Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh), etc, etc. end up having tons of views and plays on youtube, itunes, spotify, whatever.. I discovered Lukas Graham because of one of his most popular songs, 7 years. Today I listened to this song and I have to say, that this is much more then a simple song to me. 6 years ago, when I was 12, my dad passed away to cancer. To this day there isn't a single day that passes where I don't miss him and how different my life would be if he was still here. I miss him so much, despite not remembering too much of him. Besides missing him, the most difficult part of my life is when I have no idea when someone does something nice for me because they want to or because they have pity on me.
Lukas, your songs, your music inspire me so much, and probably so many others. I can't thank you enough for doing these because I think you understand me and that is all I wanted in my life, to be understood, why I have this much pain.
Thank you so much and don't stop writing.

+Samuel Melo hey man, I wanna say sorry for your loss. I also discovered lukas about a week ago from his song 7 years and loved it right away. I then started listening to his other songs and found it weirdly comfortable that him and dme had something in common. Both our dads had died. my dad died 6 years ago by suicide. To give you a tip: You don't always have to tell everyone your dad has died. That is your decision. Stay strong man, things will get better as time passes by. Just focus on the things that are relevant to you.

Oh my God, I just cried so much listening to this. I was bawling and wailing like a baby! I had to take some time to recompose myself in order to write my comment. This song just made me miss my mom so much. She passed 2 years ago, and it'll be her birthday in just a few days. I thought I was ok - I always think I'm ok - until moments like this come up unexpectedly and I just can't control my emotions. =(

I think it's very normal to lose it once in a while. She was your mom and you'll always miss her. "7 Years" got my attention already so I decided to look for more Graham stuff - then I found this song - this made me sad and happy at the same time. My father passed away last June of 2014 and it was life changing but that's the way life goes, we can never tell what's going to happen next - we just accept it and move forward. I'm happy because I found this song, reminds me of Him. I just missed him so much but I need to carry on with my life - to make him proud (somehow). I hope that Graham will make it big, he's such a great artist and musician and he deserves all the recognition. Best of luck to you buddy - I'm now a huge Fan!
