Young man, if you die and leave your family, they will be suffering for a long time. I am sure that your family would rather have you alive than have to bury you. Life is too precious to risk it intentionally.
Even when Christ returns, some people will be out selling and buying 🤦🏾♂️ watch.
Yooow ....🙆🏼🤦🏼🤷🏼🤣🤣 Yuh bad tu rass, only Jamaican will be doing that rite at the gate..you win, here take this 🏆
When Christ returns…… people are still believing this brainwash/ nonsense even with modern day evidence? Wow……. Lots of growth for sure 🤔
This comment make me laugh a real thing but for some reason I find it very funny 🤣😅
Respect for these people who live to such a survival level that they have to hustle their goods even if a hurricane is close by. Beautiful vegetables and fruits. Life goes on and I might be lucky. This is the spirit that no social programs or media information panels with well coiffed gents and ladies would stop.
When God is in the vessel smile at the storm
EARNESTLY PRAYING FOR MY BEAUTIFUL JAMAICAN PEOPLE DEM. RUN WEH BERYL‼️‼️‼️🪘🪘🪘🔥🔥🔥
The fact that citizens believe they have to take chances with a hurricane because they have to be living day-to-day to feed themselves and their children should be telling the wider society and the government that something definitely needs to be done...
The economy in Jamaica is supposed to be booming according to the metrics being boasted about so there's no reason each and every Jamaican shouldn't be able to at least survive comfortably, once given the opportunity to have gainful employment and a standard of living that is attainable.
Leadership, role models, education, healthcare.
These are a few of the things that need to be bolstered.
Listen to the politicians speak how they have things under control - no they do not. Lots of poor people have to work everyday to provide food and shelter for themselves and their
Family.
@@ew374
Yep it is easy to say you have everything under control when you do not face the consequences and the hardships firsthand...
This is not a Jamaica thing either there is a serious leadership problem in many countries.
@@ew374 IMF an world Bank fuck Jamaica. Watch e video " Jamaica in debt " an understand
wait doesn’t everyone in the world work to provide for their family. .. That’s their responsibility!! The same things that people do in jamaica , it’s done abroad. Why you all acting like poverty is only in jamaica ! Look at the homeless and drug addict population in America, the richest country in the world. . Who is coming in rain and storm to buy anything. . That’s their choice. .
I was four years old when hurricane Gilbert hit Jamaica. It was very scary in Wilson's Run, Trelawny. BUT the people of Jamaica that I know are prayer warriors, we prayed all day and night for the hurricance to pass. Prayer works: As I sit here, Holy Father who are in Heaven please shine your loving mercy on this island of Jamaica, protect my grandmother, I profess in the name of the almighty God the bringer of life, the one in charge let Beryl pass over Jamaica, I say these words in Jesus name.
Mi a listen but mi mind just a focus on the knife weh she a use a dig out har nails. Same knife weh a go use cut the produce 🫠🫠🫠
Thats why you wash the produce when you get home. But i get the point. Lol
U know seh mama strong like Beryl. Yuh think it can move her. She shall not be moved😂! Never a dull moment in JA.
My Beautiful island people.🙏🏝️🇩🇲
I know we have to hustle: but God said "In all things use wisdom" Remember it's also going to be costly for your loved ones to bury you!
Nothing like being hard working here. Respect nature and go indoors while lasts ! This reminds me of a Nigerian actor who just drowned in River Niger while crossing the river to shoot a movie without a life jacket. He even made a video while on the boat saying " Guys this is the risk we take to entertain you". He was even telling the guy that was riding the boat to please slow down because he is an only child and he has 3 kids to care for. He drowned the following day crossing the river the second time snd 3 other crew members too. God bless the people of Jamaica and we praying for a restoration in the land ❤
Who will be going out to buy goods in a hurricane? Listen and be wise.
@@godbless4039 you have to understand Jamaicans. They take most things lightly. Some Beryl lirics a put Pon paper now

Sending love to all the resilient warriors of Jamaica. You are blessed and made of sterner stuff.
Wow, God Blessed the Jamaican People because its all about the food.
Have mercy Lord❤
It's like people don't get that Jamaicans are used to hurricanes.
Are we really? Except for Gilbert all we have had over the years are some very near misses or those that only pass over SOME sections of the island. Were we to get what Grenada got from Beryl then it would be different. Even Ivan and and Nicole we didnt get full on.....
NEVER get used to hurricanes. They will fool you one day.I would prepare as IF
Hurricanes 🌀 don't even head to Jamaica like that so what are you talking about
I get it.
I can’t judge
The resilience these people show is amazing. Jamaicans are special people just need to love one another.
🇯🇲🙏💪💜 blessings to everyone, if you haven't yet repented and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please do so before it's too late, it's not God's will for none to perish Acts 2 vs 38 John 3 vs 16 Romans 10 vs 13

This is why I always tell my friend in JA be prepared, so you don't have to go out in dangerous conditions. Afraid or not.
A very ambitious young man he's an early runner in his business I love his humbleness

I wonder how many customers does someone get in the midst of a hurricane?
Praying for the safety of these persons.
@@nadiawalters9717a few friends. Then again her house is probably made of wood, and this market is made of concrete. Maybe that's why she's there and not looking straight at the nosey reporter girl that is bothering her for personal information.
You know that this was NOT during the hurricane though, right? This was way in the morning, and the hurricane came in the afternoon. The assumption that streetwise people are stupid is stupid in itself
@lemardyc
Regardless, most people would be making last-minute hurricane preparations. Also, most would simply be staying home and avoiding work.
What was worse is that there were reports of fisherfolk being out at sea until the last minute.
🙏🏿 my people 🇯🇲
i was a vendor for 30 years, i could not afford to miss a day of vending and they veggies will rot if not sold.

The goods can be replaced not your life.
Hardworking! Resilient! Love my Jamaicans!!
This guy is smart
I understand the need to hustle, but the arrogance is too much....why people want to bring God down to their level of ignorance.....Please take cover and be safe
It’s not ignorance it’s how the people have o survive because government don’t provide for those who dont have it we in Jamaica been thru worse
There is a Jewish joke that goes like this:
A God fearing man man was drowning in the ocean, he put his trust in God and started praying for him to save his life.
A kayak came by and asked, can I help you? The man said no, I trust God, only he will help me.
A helicopter flew by and asked, can I help you? The man said no, I trust God, only he will help me.
A boat came by and asked, can I help you? The man said no, I trust God, only he will help me.
A submarine came out of the depth and asked, can I help you? The man said no, I trust God, only he will help me.
The man drowned and went to heaven where he met God, the man asked "I put my trust in you, I prayed my whole life and you never rescued me from drowning!"
God said: "I sent you a Kayak, A Helicopter, A boat, A Submarine! What else do you want?"
It's not arrogance, it's survival. The Hurricane seem to brush jamaica like a bad rainfall - this woman is instinctive. Millennial$ lost their instinct through being greedy and selling out this beautiful paradise. SHAME ON THEM!

Legend has it, the goods are flying in the Caribbean Sea.
Translation: Woman in the market: she is not afraid of Beryl. That Beryl will come and pass and if gets dangerous she will go inside the market house.
The gentleman selling the breadfruit said he has to work because his partner used some of their savings to buy groceries and he wants to make sure that if something happens to them that they have an emergency fund.
You have to eat what are you going to do
I don't know if these persons saw the videos of the destruction on Union Island but this hurricane ain't nothing to play with. There is not a house on that island that was not touched in some way.
Yes, but what does that have to do with them vending in the hours before the storm hit?
Mercy Lord!!!!!!!
Jamaicans are the best. Indomitable.
Jamaicans are the best ❤
Jamaican ppl a di best ,man say him a berly a par😂.
This man sells food but says he can’t stay home during a hurricane because his family needs food!
He farms ground produce and fruits, maybe, but groceries are more than yams, bananas, breadfruits, etc.
Hold on!!! She clean her nails with the same knive she cut the vegetables 🥒 😮 4:11
We Must Trust Our Creator, Saviour and Redeemer. He Will Protect Us.
it’s sad that people still have to worry about all these other things when there’s a natural disaster happening that alone is traumatic.
wow 😢 hope everyone is safe
Lots of people planned to pick up last minute items Wednesday morning, they did not expect to be under curfew so early. Some had no choice they went shopping anyway. So there were people buying.
It was not in the middle of a hurricane, there were no winds until in the afternoon, I am puzzled by people looking at an overcast sky and a little drizzle and calling it the middle of a hurricane
Coro has withstood many a storms, and on every single occasion there were vendors sheltering inside. These people will be and were perfectly fine.
I encourage less use of the thumb and more use of the grey cells
Respect coronation market people
Who are you selling to

Beryl ain't blowin her nowhere.
Please consider translating . . . I want to comprehend, but I don't understand what they are saying. Turning on the closed captions made little difference.
Such a nice young man selling the breadfruit I like how he believe in God
If she believed in him she would know is him who created the storms and respect him as he does his work. Is not everyone who say God believe and obey him.
