How'd you find Economy? Is the seat comfortable? When I flew to London for the first time a couple years back, I had booked Premium Economy with Virgin America, but a delay ended up busting me back down to regular economy on Delta, and they sat me by an emergency exit, but right in front of me WAS THE PREMIUM ECONOMY SECTION! Talk about insult to injury...
In Delta's defense, they were super nice about it, after firing off a nastygram to their customer service. They gave me 9000 miles, and I still haven't used all of them yet. I would certainly fly again (and have) with both Delta and/or Virgin Atlantic. But since Premium Economy fares are putting a future trip to London out of my budget, I'm considering regular economy options. I figure if I can sleep through most of the flight I should be good.

I thought this was a fairly standard economy seat and had no issues falling asleep on this flight. I can see there being an issue if you’re over 6 ft though.

If I may add. I flew on both the 787 and A330 from Barbados to London. I usually pay for Economy Delight for the extra leg room. Space isn't an issue. The seat is comfortable enough. We have red eyes from Barbados.
