I love Halloween more than any other holiday.It's the fall colors and fallen leaves everywhere leaving the trees bare. And the smell of the air is different and woodsy smelling. Have a scary safe one and bake a few pumpkin pies!

My mother would have been so happy to see scenes like this again.We were both born in the fall and it always was our favorite time of year.She introduced me to Chiller theater,many nights we would stay up after the local news to watch Bela Lugosi,and Boris Carloft . Great Job Cafe !

What I love about this Halloween playlist (as well as the other one 2 years ago) is that it tells a story with each section like you can almost imagine yourself there and what it looks like and it gives such a spooky and mystical feel to it!

Discovered for Halloween 2023. REALLY impressed by how this isn't a "horror" soundtrack, yet so perfectly inspired by Halloween to make it feel absolutely appropriate for the holiday. This'll be going into my heavy rotation for the season.

Lets see...Friday the 13th with Jason, red balloon for It, Elm Street for...well yeah, Ghostbusters poster, Danny's tricycle for The Shining, the crosswalk might be a cheeky Walking Dead pun, The House on Pine Street. Surely there's more though.
The kids are Lock, Shock & Barrel from the Nightmare Before Christmas, the balloon can double as a reference to Samhain, the large moon behind the church seems a reference to Ringing the Changes by Robert Aickman. :)
My only complaint is that it isn't longer! This. Is. Perfection.

I can't explain how long I've been looking for a lofi like this all I could find was lofi that had halloween pictures that played normal lofi and called it halloween vibes but never one that actually gave halloween vibes through the music.
YES. I would listen to last year's halloween playlist on repeat! Glad to have yet another spooky playlist! (Most "halloween" lo-fi playlists dont sound spooky at all. Mostly just calm autumn mixes. But this actually sounds like the classic halloween music we used to hear all the time on Halloween movies!)

One of the reasons I love Halloween is because its different from the other holidays where normally you gather with your family and spend the hole day together which is very nice, but Halloween is that special kind of holiday where your encouraged to go out at night with your friends and have a good old time all while on a sugar high.

i really miss being a child. i miss being really young and seeing everything with beauty, seeing all pure in the world. now it's just hate and depression. i miss my mom and dad hugging me, telling me they love me, making jokes with me, kissing my forehead and the meaningful 'good nights'. instead they just yell at me, tell me how awful i am, and make me feel horrible. the world is a scary place and i just want to sleep for the remainder of my life
