Gorgeous tank! I'm a sucker for cardinals, they're amazing! Loving the colours on these! It also depends on how tall crypts get. Like, with my first aquarium which was only about 50 litres, the crypts I put in the foreground(wendtii green), got quite tall. A while ago I put them in my Juwel Rio 240 in the foreground, just before the hardscape (lavarocks, dark drift wood), and they just look and do much better. This variety would look nice considering colour and size. There are also some smaller varieties. I love the classic look of the Juwel Rio. Mine is in dark wood matching my old couch and lounge seats.
