As an avid (diamond) SC2 player back in 2012-13, and now reigniting my rts passion and just started playing AOE 4, what a bloody blast frol the past. so you mean to tell me if u build regniz a relic placed in a tower produces the same gold that it would if it was placed in the regniz? that's what I took from that bit around 14:50 in the video, but I wanted to ask to be sure.

I do have the same problem on anxiety. And was thinking on you don't caring about loosing. You do it in front of hundreds. I would die from anxiety hahahaha probably I would just freeze and play as bad as I can

I am main HRE and utterly demoralized these days. Feel like getting pwned so often by English, without me feeling being particularly greedy. Feels like some civs have flexibility and HRE doesn't, and have nothing for it. Yes, the 40% gathering buff is nice, but it's not such an advantage if the rest of the civ is bland.
Also, winning with HRE in very late game is near impossible.
Why am I even bothering with relics if late game gold doesn't matter thanks to trade?
Overall, I'm confused, disappointed.

I hope this does not come as a condescending question, I am just a platinum player, so I just wanna ask what's your rank? Maybe I can help you out a bit to come up with an answer? I HATE English, I came to a point in which I was theorycrafting my own specific niche build orders against the english because of how often I encounter them and just how bland it feels to play against them in lower elos.

What English play do you get beaten by? I main HRE and I'm not particularly good but have a very good win rate against english in particular so maybe I could help

@@MrAskolein I gotcha, I uninstalled the game a couple of weeks ago due to the fact I found 8 English in 10 matches and I just stopped having fun, regardless of the outcome it is just so goddamn boring to play against the English. I will keep an eye on the next patch, and I wish you the best, because things will probably stay the same or just get worse lol.

Silver/gold only play HRE and im in the same boat. Problem are free/cheap units who damage your economy at feudal at very early game, And the only serious tool you have its the repair. Yes sure there are some builds to rush and go all in maa in feudal but you need better execution than enemy, with that any civ with any strat work against any civ because you are just better, well literally this match of demu. Demu its insane singing smiling and reading chat while defeding his base with 0 units 2022 elo vs 1877, at some point demu outplayed on everything micro, macro, buildings position, everything just a better player.
