    Great information. There was an interesting comment by you, "I don't like using shell drill." You are working with older players, how do the younger players learn to help defence?? let me know.
    I agree, I am always looking for another way to teach this team concept.

      Playing 2v1 with O1 driving from the perimeter, O2 on the dunker spot weak side, D1 in help position is a way to start with this concept. You can also change this SSG. For example: add a trailing defender on O1, as if he just got beaten 1v1. You can also make it a 3v2. Many possibilities to play around with!

    He saying some terms I never heard of. First year coach here. Love the video but I'm trying to understand the terms. What's a 7 and a 9 ... what does close off mean ?

      In the SAVI teaching they rate types of offensive shots
      9 = wide open layup
      7 = wide open, catch and shoot 3's, from a good shooter.
      Closeoff is referring to the 3-Point line. They don't want players shooting where they catch so they want the defender to run the shooter off the FT-Line.
      You should watch the podcast with Tyler Coston I think it's his system czcams.com/video/pFF1ORExYZ0/video.html
